Bel Air is situated about 12 miles (19 km) west of Downtown Los Angeles, set entirely within the Santa Monica Mountains. It lies across Sunset Boulevard from the northern edge of the main campus of the University of California, Los Angeles. At the heart of the community sits the Bel-Air Country Club and the Hotel Bel-Air.
Together with Beverly Hills and Holmby Hills, Bel Air forms the Platinum Triangle of Los Angeles neighborhoods.
Along with Beverly Hills and the Los Angeles community of Brentwood, Bel Air is part of a high-priced area on the Westside known as the "three Bs."
Television shows and films have been filmed in Bel Air, or are said to take place in the community. Exterior shots for the Beverly Hillbillies were shot in and around 750 Bel Air Road,[38] built by Lynn Atkinson (and later sold to hotelier Arnold Kirkeby after Atkinson's wife refused to move into a house she thought too ostentatious). Several scenes in the film "Get Hard" (2015) were set in Bel Air. Exterior scenes from films such as Get Shorty (1995) have also been filmed in the area.[citation needed] Several episodes of the television show The Rockford Files were filmed in Bel Air.
The television sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, starring actor and rapper Will Smith, was set in the neighborhood, although the exterior shots used were filmed in nearby Brentwood.

Loved driving through bel air while I was there! Actually got to see Beyoncé being escorted from her mansion in a convoy of blacked out Cadillac escaldes. It was like the president or something haha

I mean WOW with a capital WOW and I'm talking about the greenery there. I'm from Philly , a very historical city with amazing greenery we see every day. It's part of our lives. But man, I am in awe of LA. That greenery puts Philly and frankly, the New England states to shame and I never thought I would be saying anything is better than them. I had no clue LA was like this with their greenery. No. Clue. I am actually stunned. Wow.

Have watched and enjoyed many Hollywood Hills " Ride A-Longs". Some are poorly made and hard to watch. Having a clear day

Sidewalks aren't really necessary here. The homes are too far from each other and there really isn't anywhere to walk to in the area. The properties are quite large. Hope you enjoyed the video and thank you for watching ❤️

@@foreverme3078 They're real and are Ficus nitida also known here as" Hollywood Hedge". Apparently they grow super fast and often grow over 20 feet which make them popular in Beverly Hills and Bel Air.

Yah. from what i know of. The area doesn't get much foot traffic since all the homes take up huge space. So there really isn't a need for sidewalks. But yah, it is strange to see no sidewalks

@@Omwvlog sim, já vi uns vídeos no RUclips de famosos na rodeo drive, outro lugar que tem bastante famosos é calabasas, mas acredito que a maioria deve morar em condomínios fechado. Dizem que o Drake comprou 3 mansões no final da rua para não incomodar os vizinhos.

You will never see homeless in Bel Air. It is very safe to drive expensive cars in both Bel Air and Beverly Hills. Majority of the expensive cars are in this area.
