I went to interior architecture school for 5 years fulltime and i do not see many homes with beauty and character anymore, despite the high expense of investment involved. This bathroom is very unique and rare in design, and they did everything right in terms of design. Full of character and it feels like an actual home, waiting for a family to wear it down further, to leave its mark from time as the years go by. Good design makes better homes. Not generic design.
This is a perfect home in my opinion. Stunning architecture and architectural details. The price is very reasonable for this level of authenticity. It's a dream for a very lucky buyer❤
One of the most beautiful houses I’ve seen. Don’t love the lack of a laundry room and I would remove the built in bench/table in the kitchen for more space. The front and back yard are amazing. All the open windows the house looks so airy and peaceful.
Omg…. That is a beautiful house/home. I would be in Heaven. I lived in Los Feliz for many years and miss it so much. Thank you for sharing this great place. ❤
Gorgeous of course BUT, I can't believe the washer and dryer are in the kitchen! For that price I would want a separate laundry room. The pool area is to die for!
I’d love to live in a home like this. This should be kept as is. It’s sad to see homes such as these demolished or completely redesigned when it’s already such a masterpiece
Your post was on point !!!!! Really wish other people recognize the beauty in these original homes. Praying to one day have enough money be the owner of a home such as this.
A beautifully restored and updated home. Loved every detail. My compliments to the stager for a thoughtful staging and for not defaulting to ubiquitous mid century modern furniture. It seems every house you see in LA has been staged from the same warehouse and it makes you think you’ve already viewed it.
This is a dream home of mine! Every aspect is wonderful and most appreciative of keeping original and any restoration necessary! As the song runs thru my head 🎶🎵dream on dream on🎶🎵🙏🏻❤️🦋🦋🦋
Just went there today to give the keys to the new owners. They said they weren’t even looking when this one came on the market. They just fell in love and had to get it !
@@DaveP-uv1ml i did live in California in a multimillion dollar home. There was homeless camped out the end of my driveway. So bad in fact you can even see them when i looked up my home on Google maps.

I’m always IN the kitchen! I love it! Kitchen is the heart! You could put a door to cover or curtains, I find it very convenient and those are kind of attractive w & d not boxy and boring. Different strokes for different folks! Only caveat I’d make is perfect AC because that’s a hot kitchen if stove or oven and dryer lol🙏🏻🤔🦋
Wow. Stunning home. The woodwork and the arches and lighting is amazing. My only criticism is that with the exception of the master bedroom the closets only had built in shelving with no room for hanging your clothes. But who cares with a house like this.
Two words of constructive advice: *zoom **_out!!!_* Some of the shots were too tight. A beautiful home in an awesome neighborhood. The kitchen is a work of art, clearly designed by someone who cooks. 👍👍 Two thumbs up for the interior designer! Simply beautiful. So tasteful and welcoming! Does it come furnished, or was it staged? That master bath is simply exquisite!
I love the tour thank you! Such a beautiful vintage home. The phone booth is so cool and the hidden prohibition closet ha! Love the history and love that home! ❤
Really gorgeous! I love all of the special original features and those added by the homeowner. I love Spanish style homes, and so many have been ruined. The modern touches and conveniences here don't detract from the character. Your presentation is very good, with conversational pacing and a professional tone. Though I already have my 'hacienda', this was a pleasure to watch. :)
Hancock Park is probably my favorite neighborhood in Los Angeles, many years ago when I first came to Southern california, I used to live right up Sycamore - so I cannot stand the thought of living in Los Angeles, the way that they've monkeyed with the real estate values and toys with the foreclosure market, Hancock Park is one of the insulated neighborhoods... I almost bought a house back in the day, in Hancock proper, it was pricey then, it's through the roof today... This house is cute, it needs a designer's touch, I would probably move this house in embellish it more in the direction of an Andalusian style. What's $3.5 ml is expensive for the size home...
@@sharonammirati2042 hardly perfect, especially for the astronomical price tag of homes Hancock Park sellers are asking... The washer/dryer in the kitchen is a deal breaker. The first bedroom should have been converted to a large laundry room where you can iron clothes. It would have been easy since there's definitely an accessible wet wall next to the downstairs bathroom. A six bedroom house is not necessary. Otherwise, house is stunning.

Totally agree
Not a cookie cutter
Love the character an uniqueness
Bookshelves & built ends not necessary.
what were they thinking when they built this? 3 bedrooms sharing one bath? that is not acceptable!!!!!!
developers got smart. simple squares you can make more homes and get more $$ and move on from a project.
