When Pikmin 3 was new, one youtuber I watched didn't know how to do send-all command. Certainly made the playthrough a lot more interesting when he wasn't able to just send in 100 pikmin to instakill any threat.
I was on my third pikmin 3 playthrough (or halfway through my second) before i even considered the idea of using the rush ability for things other than walls. The tutorial for rush was on a wall, so I only used it on walls
That sounds really cool. Now take that and make it so the player doesn't know how to "reset", because that sucks. It's nice to watch people play Pikmin 1/2 and not reset for being challenged at the game, actually more fun to watch than people straight up resetting when being faced by a slight challenge.
You can charge the meerslug during the sinkhole move and you could've use the return to base Signal to save alot. Also yellows work for scornet. I want it it clear your videos are amazing I'm not criticizing
Sometimes i beat shaggy longlegs by just leaving a handful of rocks in the arena while i do something else. They cant be crushed and shaggy is the only enemy in the entire game they can cling to, so as long as there's a captain around to deal with the fire geysers in the arena just in case, they can beat the fight with almost zero input
Simple answer; Pikmin 3 deluxe and Pikmin 4 have ways to bring all Pikmin to the ship so as long as the Pikmin can go to the ship you can get them without whistling
You could’ve made your life a lot easier if you just use yellows to defeat the scorned maestro. They can be thrown higher, high enough to hit the boss. They even fall to the ground so you can get them back easier.
For your winged Pikmin issue, you could've used the SS drake, since in Pikmin 3 deluxe, you can use the SS drake to call back all the Pikmin in the area towards the ship
@@GoldenLeafsMoviesyep, everything matches up with the wii u version rather than the switch version {also, either way, the s.s. drake's whistle is... still a whistle}

Awesome run! One little thing I gotta mention since it was driving me crazy it's Plasmwraith not Plasmawraith you're adding an additional A. Think like the word ectoplasm. Really hoping to see some Pikmin 4 challenge runs.
Making my way through your Backlog of challenge vids, excellent work! I love the determination and creativity used to overcome the obstacles. Only thing I didn't like was the dismissal of the forced uses that make any given run fail, but that's just a personal preference. It doesn't make the video lesser for me. When I do runs like that I just invoke Tutorial Clause, lol. Yeah it happened, yeah the run is officially a failure, but stopping now is less fun so I note it down and do the rest of the game.
To call wing pikmin without Whistle is something really impressive. I thought you would stop there. Also, the first time you call the three first pikmin colors is like a cutscene, so I think your are right and those doesn't count
thats was crazy! i have another chalange for you. beat pikmin 4 without the wistle( i think it will be easyer cuz of the dog giving you more height for the winged pikmin)
@@detective1587 Not to mention Oatchi's pretty broken, especially once you start upgrading his attack and carrying powers. I am so curious about what happened at the end of the twilight river. I assume there were a lot of idling pikmin after the boss's defeat, so did they all head back to the base because they picked up corpses, or did they automatically get put back in the party after the cutscene?
I think the Scornet would definitely be easier if you brought in different types. Winged Pikmin are used to knock it down then the rest swarm it. You could do 50/50 red pink . 10 pinks should be able to do it. Maybe more. Since it must be between in 3/4 forced cycles, you only need to used 25 pikmin per cycle
