I started breaking out in itchy hives and had angioadema start two years ago. Couldn't figure out the cause and neither could the doctors. Then I went away recently on holiday, turned my phone off and did lots of swimming which made me feel the most relaxed I've felt in years, and i didnt even relised how chroncially stressed I was. Now my symptoms are fading away and I still have a feeling of peace, but need to keep it up. Our modern lives can be great but the stress is destroying us. Get out of stress mode everyone and get some peace.

You don't need technology to perform heart rate variability. It can be intuitively performed with your breath. Try it out... take a long, deep breath in, and you'll notice your heart rate speeds up. Take a long deep exhale and you'll notice it slows down. HRV is just the difference in your heart rate on a beat to beat basis. If you can amplify the speed of that heart rate and continually slow it down, you are exercising the neurological harmony from HRV training

A little misleading. You do NOT want to chill out too much! Eustress is GOOD! In fact, a healthy autonomic nervous system has a strong sympathetic AND parasympathetic balance. That is what makes a high HRV ideal. You don't want a high HRV, but all of your amplitude is going to parasympathetic drops. The poor sympathetic tone is what causes the elderly to have sudden heart failure when suddenly shoveling snow. The body needs to be able to handle sudden sympathetic activation.

@@carnivorouscolumbus3461 My mindset is perfectly fine thank you very much.
I need to finish my degree in order to get better job security and higher pay but I can`t really do that coz I`m working all day and just feel burnt out when I come home.
If I had my degree I`d make more money, feel more secure in my job, get better rest and have time to go get a gf instead of grinding 14 hours a day every day including weekends on both fronts.
There is no virtue in poverty and there is no nobility about stressing over money, security and the future all the time. If I had "fuck you money" I`d just leave the big city and move back to my hometown, buy a nice house and have 4-5 kids. Don`t really have that option right now.

I’m using PEMF therapy to tone and balance my sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system. Specifically I use an Ondamed. I monitor m HRV using the Wellatory app on my Apple Watch. I’m sleeping 7-8 hours again and no further outbursts of intense HRV stress which started after menopause.
Menopause to me is one the most evil things created. Why couldn’t women just have a gradual decrease in hormones like men? But no women are basically castrated and left to struggle without the intricate dance of hormones we formerly enjoyed with all their anti aging benefits.
