There are some definite improvement of life features I'd like to see for manual scripting and a more robust FX engine. But I agree, the pros outweigh the cons!
You are a life/time saver with your content on SoundSwitch and the Well STX 180. I love your pixel mapping effects and am glad I watched this to the end to hear you have preprogrammed mapping for these lights. Please send me more info on how to get those from you. That would be AWESOME!!!
I'm so glad you took the time to make and explain this. I have been waiting to make a tutorial but life has been too busy for me. I've been doing those exact techniques since day one. As always tell people getting into SS, you will only get out what you put in. Do you really think a touring LD just shows up with no prep or idea and make an amazing show? Keep you the great work 🤙
Would love to get some programming help on making the Titan Tubes work. I imagine they are similar to the STX, but I can't even figure out how to get them addressed to work.
I just got a set of the Titan tubes and have been watching a lot of your programming videos. Is there a way to do the sparkle effect with a static look? I would love to possibly use this during a first dance or special moment when everything else is static.
You can have a venue with certain Autoloops for formalities like first dance or cocktail hour. You'd need to utilize 12 channel mode of the both tubes and use attribute cues if you want to use static looks
@@DJDarylBennett I’m excited to see it and I’ll definitely be interested in purchasing the programming for them. Your videos have helped me understand the mappings more than anywhere else. I just don’t have the time to commit to programming them myself lol.
Hey 🙂 If you are in regular contact with the SS team, can you push them a little bit more towards better pixel scripting workflow improvements? That vertical scrolling between grouped fixtures (especially if you have many of them) alone drives me mad. I also miss features like cursor snapping to the next 4-beat section, option to disable moving/attribute stuff entirely, or open/close all folders at once. I guess I will go with Autoloops only, first. My idea is to prepare e.g. 4 venues with the same lights, but different autoloops. That way I would have 4x 32 = 128 autoloops in total (+ the option to work with intensity groups and hue), am I correct? Could then use one venue for house, one for hiphop, etc...
I've brought it up many times and they have lots of priorities haha so maybe we'll see it someday. But the majority of users want automation, so they're putting more effort in that area it seems. You could do 4 venues. Personally I have two projects, dance Autoloops and cocktail vibes. Duplicating projects copies your static scenes and attribute cues. It's not a perfect workflow
That sparkling hint was nice, thanks!
SS is still pretty clunky sometimes, yet, there is no comparable alternative and I like the whole concept a lot!

1000%
That is awesome! Great explanation by the way, soundwitch really needs to implement this or make it easier to do in future updates.
Thank you! And I agree

Please make a video for creating Offset movement chases using moving heads! Great work! Love your Soundswitch videos!
Thanks for the idea!
Great Video and explanation. Thanks
Wow Amazing !!! Thank you :)
Thanks! And you're welcome

I'm going to be playing with the ax1 soon, I'll report my findings. I imagine its similar to the Titan

What lights are you using
Great Video! Can you program my Both Lighting Titan Tubes ?
