Your efforts to overcome the language barrier are admirable. Thx for sharing your videos with us! The C-295 is a beautiful and very capable plane. The fact that it has so many variants for lots of different missions speaks volumes about its versatility.
Good video! Liked and subbed. Selection of this aircraft for SAR in Canada is a big vote of confidence. SAR in Canada has some very serious operational challenges.
It appears the CASA 295 would work well in South East Asia. Most countries in that region are not large and do not need the range of the C-130 J. I believe when fully loaded it can transport close to 1,000 miles and about 2,500 miles with a partial or light load. Adequate to supply troops or evacuation in most situations. This seems to be a good candidate as a marine or maritime patrol plane off the coast of Vietnam if it can achieve 2.000 miles of patrolling and some loiter time.
ATR 72, built by italian/french consortium ATR, is a civilian plane with derivated military versions. Not specifically cargo, it has no rear ramp. But yes, comparable in size.
Not only in Airbus Military in Spain, but our factory,Indonesian Aerospace could make it too.....and it called CASA Nurtanio CN295(Indonesian Aerospace version which it has been produced in Indonesia)
There is no such version CN 295, you are mistaken it with the CN235 which was produced by CASA in cooperation Indonesian Nortanio. But the C295 is produced only and exclusively by CASA in Spain, that’s why it’s called C295 (no “N”) there.
Hi if it is so cheap then why there was a less demand for this aircraft in last two decades as evident from its production history of only 192 aircraft produced in 20 years?????

C-27J has two problems, one it has greater volume than it can't fill with 11Tonnes and the other is C-295 has 8 variants, Transport, maritime patrol, SAR, AEW&C, tanker, firefighting, gunship and signals intelligence..

We can add Ireland to the list :-) the casa is a solid workhorse, and the 295 variant will see a lot of work in our skies
CASA C-295 - The best transport aircraft in ITS price range
India just bought 56 of these for the Indian Air force. Will be the biggest operator of C295.
philippines ordered another 3 now 7 will be in service after 2022
Great video, thanks. Your real voice is much better than the robotic voice of the old videos. Keep up the good work.
Great video, as always!
Canada now has and they seem pretty happy it used for SAR all weather all the time

An interesting movie about a great machine
it is crazy how they make regular planes gunships.
Very informative VDO
Not really fair to compare with C130, not same lifting category. A better comparison would be ATR 72

atr72 is not a cargo plane. i

Good job man.
Nice video thanks
What is the name of background music?
you can see it at the credit section at the end of video. thanks
Why would you compare this with the C-130. If that is the case why not compar2 to A400? Think is closer to the C-123 that is no longer produced.

Im not saying the CASA C-295 is a bad aircraft but I much prefer the Alenia C-27J Spartan.
