Looks elegant and powerful .. somewhat like a smaller version of the venerable C130j Super Hercules .. for short to medium hauls this air craft is ideally suited to our ALGs located near the borders where quick reaction teams need to reach fast .. and with the C295 .. most landing grounds are easy to land and takeoff due to its power to weight ratio and hardy design. We can say goodbye to the AN32 and the Avros .. both of which are vintage ...
The Canadian Air Force just bought this aircraft for our Search and rescue technicians.
Indian Air Force and Coast Guard did too. 62 of them.

No, it’s not. Indonesian Nortanio company had the CN 235 (Casa-Nortanio 235) built together in joint venture with CASA. The C295 is entirely designed and manufactured in Spain by Spanish CASA (now owned by Airbus). Indonesia has nothing to do with the C295.

Are you sure that with a length of 24.4 meters, a wingspan of 25.8 meters, a height of 8.6 meters and a maximum payload capacity of 7 tons. (and of
9.2 tons. in an overload situation), can it be considered a tiny aircraft?
Hardly tiny, it's not a pc12 or cessna. It was designed for a certain job and is probably the best aircraft for that. A c17 isn't needed or going to land at small strips

The C-295 is a development of the CN-235 manufactured and assembled in the Airbus Military facilities in the San Pablo Airport, in Seville, Spain.
It is a development of the Spanish-Indonesian transport aircraft CASA/IPTN CN-235, but with a stretched fuselage, 50% more payload capability and new Pratt & Whitney Canada PW127G turboprop engines.
