- After Cyclone Idai caused catastrophic damage on the continent, the C295 was used in a relief response that included operations to Espungabera, Mozambique. Landing on a short and rough airstrip on a side of a mountain, the airlifter was used to in bring food and supplies to the town cut off by the natural disaster. sabar bang, jadi gini C295 secara tidak langsung merupakan pengembangan dari CN-235 , saya tidak bilang kalo C295 itu buatan Indonesia jelas bukan, tapi pada pengembangan CN-235 Indonesia terlibat pada tahun 80-an kerjasama PTDI(IPTN waktu itu) dan CASA, jadi timeframenya th 80-an NC212 & CN-235 lahir kerjasama IPTN&CASA (Kode CN,NC) , 90 an awal N250 lahir di Indonesia (Kode N) , 90 an akhir C295 lahir (hanya Casa kode C). Kasus seperti ini mirip seperti Airbus family (A220 family,A320 family dst) yang merupakan peningkatan kapasitas dan kualitas. Kita sudah bagus membuat platform NC212, CN235 dan meneruskannya menjadi N250 , jika diteruskan mungkin "N295" yang lahir bukan C295 bahkanmuncul rencana pengembangan jet N2130 . Saya menekankan pada idenya yang sama. Ide beliau yang dieksploitasi bukan tenaganya sehingga seolah tidak berkontribusi karena ide tidak ada patennya kalau belum diwujudkan. Sah-sah saja Casa mengadopsi ide itu.
Maksud saya menghubungkan Habibie jauh sebelum itu ketika beliau berkarir di MBB cikal bakal Airbus dan kemudian Casa bergabung dengan Airbus tahun 1970 an. Disangkal atau tidak Habibie pernah berada disitu dan buah pemikiran beliau juga ada disitu. Apalagi beliau terlibat langsung dalam pengembangan CN-235, N-250. Ada kontribusi direct & indirect dan saya mengapresiasi itu. Sudah sepatutnya kita menaruh hormat kepada beliau atas jasa yang diberikan. Bahkan beliau menjadi warga kehormatan di Jerman dan kita masih mengatakan haus pujian? beda bukan budayanya? Satu hal yang saya pelajari dari bangsa lain, mereka bisa bangga dengan diri mereka sendiri dan punya harga diri yang tinggi tanpa merendahkan orang lain ,kenapa kita tidak bisa?

The Spanish almost crash one C295 during jump trials and sadly the Brazilians killed one jumper in an accident while exiting the C295. Canada just had it's first delivery of the C295 for the role of SAR. SARtechs have also had issues with jump trials hitting the tail upon egress. Those fuselage vortex generators near the aft ramp door aren't for fuel efficiency, they're to help redirect air flow so jumpers don't hit the tail on their way out. Is this true?

The Airbus C130 is the A400M. This one is a newer rebranded CASA C295 since they're now a part of Airbus.
