  • Hello, and welcome back to another amazing episode of Jetliner Marvel. We will compare two military cargo aircraft in this video. The Airbus C295 and the Embraer C-390 Millennium are both medium-sized military and civilian transport aircraft, but they have some differences in terms of their capabilities and features.

    The Brazilians should seriously market this jet in Asia. As of what the reports say, India alone needs about 30 jets in this category immediately in the coming 4-5 years and an equal amount in the near future. Then you have Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Kazakhstan.

      Acabamos de vender 36 pra Arábia Saudita, 12 pra Portugal, 10 pra China, 10 pra Coréia do Sul, 10 pra África do Sul, 12 pra Suécia, 12 pra Holanda, 10 pra República Tcheca e outros 50 pra outros 20 países.
      Mas uma encomenda de 1 avião me incomoda......
      1 pra USA.

    You are missing important information like the hourly operating costs, availability of spare parts and fuel consumption. At the very end a purchasing decision is heavily based on these parameters.

      Brasil tem a segunda indústria mais forte das Américas. Fique tranquilo. Fomos os criadores do Avião. Santos Dumont fez um Avião documentado. Irmãos Wright fizeram uma catapulta com pessoas dentro.
      Brasil tem o melhor avião cargueiro do mundo(KC-390), o melhor avião de treinamento e de combate às drogas do mundo (Super-Tucano) e num acordo com a Suécia começamos a fabricar um Avião Caça de geração 4.5 .
      Não somos um país sem reposição de peças.
      Nem vivemos de carnaval. 😊

    It's clear...you can't compare apples with oranges...c295's turbo-prop & the counterpart is turbo-jet...there's no comparison at all... तमाशा खतम!!!!

      Correction it's a turbofan. Not a turbojet.. this video also failed to mention the history of the Casa C-295 a joint project development with IPTN Aerospace Indonesia. Airbus had no part in its developing this aircraft

    On the Embraer website and on the aircraft's data sheet, it says that the KC-390 carries up to 26t, not 23t. Otherwise, the video is amazing. Congratulations to the channel.

    Ademas no se pueden comparar ya que uno es mas grande oero no mejor que el otro es como si comparamos el Embraer con A400M nontiene comparacion el c295 no tiene rival

    I flew the C295 for seven years, and these numbers are overstimated, even more in hot regions. But anyway, it is an excelent aircraft, and get the job done.

    You should compare the KC 390 with the C 130. A Comparison with a much smaller Aircraft built for complete other Operations makes no Sense.Sorry

    I see no sense in this comparison, since they are aircraft of totally different categories! Some of the competitors of the KC-390 are the North American C-130J, the Ukrainian AN-178 and the Chinese Y-9.

    El C295 fue diseñado por CASA España, no sé a qué viene nombrar a Tata, ni a los Indonesios. Por otra parte, el comparable al KC390, no es el C295, sino el futuro Airbus C200

    Looks like if you need 3 jeeps you'll need a second C-390. Looks good for small loads.

    Now you saying the KC has a range of 6000km. In the other video you said it has 3000km. I don’t think you know anything about aircraft specification.

    Stupid comparison. Also, plenty of incorrect data, the list of customers for the C295 is huge with 33 countries currently operating it, not the four mentioned.

      And although is made currently by Airbus, it was designed by CASA, a Spanish company integrated years ago in Airbus.

      @@abhinavayush967 C2 is a heavier-class jet, along with Airbus A400M and Boeing C-17. The right comparison is with the Lockheed C-130.

    Jet and turbo-prop are no comparison - if you are comparing function/purpose fine but still they are different leagues in terms of capability

      Yet turbo-props are better for some jobs. While the C295 has less range it has a higher in zone operation time due to less fuel consumption. Its lower speed also helps in some cases and its short take off capacity in uneven terrain is also great in some cases.
      Ill give examples:
      As an AWACS, SAR plane, electronic warfare and intelligence gathering the c295 does better than the KC 390.

    The kc390 is certainly superior to the C295, but the Brazilian KC without an artillery system or a 105mm cannon, has no persuasive power at all. Military aircraft, without a Gunship system.

    This video did not talk about the military mission of both: whereas the Embraer is most likely a regular cargo plane designed to do logistic missions, the C295 is an excellent tactical airlifter designed to do special air operation missions. Don't skip the military side on military planes; we are not comparing civilian ones!

      To reduce the KC390 to "logistic mission airplane" is madness... The aircraft is designed to be multimission and reconfigurable as required. KC390 is certified for Airdrop, paratroopers missions, fire fighting, inflight refueling and more...

    Na verdade o que eu vi foi muita choradeira dos EU. Nosso é bom em tudo não trm pra americano, europeu ou asiaticos, somos a terra de Santos Dumont o pai verdadeiramente da aviação. Os irmãos americanos fezeram uma catapulta e se lancaram nós não o avião tinha certificado europeu , motor e planou como um pássaro, todos viram e sairam maravilhados, ta no sangue nosso, sempre fomos curioso nisso. E mais em 40 anos nos transformamos no terceiro fabricantes de aeronave do mundo. Tudo fruto de muito trabalho. Pra se ter uma ideia a Boinge colocou um escritório em Sao Paulo. Nossos engenheiros sao uns dos melhores do mundo. O Gripen ja usa componentes nossos como display de última geração. Somos foda.

    Ridiculous comparison!
    If it was the KC390 VS A400M VS C-17. It would be more interesting.
    The C-295 is the size of the ATR-42!

    Quieres comparar ajos con cebollas o peso ligero con peso pluma. Ambos están encuadrados en categorías diferentes. Es igual de absurdo que si compararas al KC-390 VS A-400M o una moto VS un coche (auto).
    Tienes que aprender conceptos básicos sobre aviones de transportes militares antes de hacer un vídeo sobre eso mismo.

    You want to compare garlic with onions or light weight with featherweight. Both are framed in different categories. It´s just as absurd as if you compared the KC-390 VS A-400M or a motorcycle VS a car.
    You have to learn basic concepts about military transport aircrafts before making a video about it.
