- An ensemble video montage of the boxing event in Zaire Africa between Muhammad Ali and George Foreman.I tried focusing on telling a story mainly through the use of visuals. I am re-uploading this because I re-rendered it with changed settings which seemed to fix some of the hiccups/glitches.

@@wakeup958 the Foreman vs. Ali match a.k.a. "Rumble in the jungle" is considered one of the greatest sporting events of the 20th century. Because no one was giving a chance to Ali against Foreman. Not only did he defeat Foreman against all odds but he regained his world heavyweight title which he was unfairly stripped of 7 years earlier for opposing the Vietnam War.
I dnt think we will ever witness a boxing fight with such magnitude.
The only knockout Big George endured over 4 decades of championship boxing. That should tell you how great Ali was.
With all due respect george got up by the 7th count but they ruled it anyway to ali.. Later george was brutally knocked down by lyle 2 times he got up and they didnt stop it and george went on to win the fight
@@theslash9210 No. The commentatory after counting 7 makes you feel that. What you here isn't ref's counting. The ref had already counted out 9 by the time forman was at his knees.
@@Freethinker328 🤣🤣we can clearly see the ref counting as we saw with the fury vs wilder 1... Fury got up at nine...lets be real ali was favoured in the fight... Ali the best heavyweight of his time and perhaps of all times... But they did unjust to foreman in that fight

Plus, foreman said he was so out of gas that even if he got up he wasn't sure if he would be able to continue anyway
@@kakashihatake6176 ya foreman even said that he was fed a substance before the fight by one of the men in his camp which tasted funny before the fight.. After the fight he was fired... And when the rematch was asked for ali said take that man back in ur camp.. There are all sorts of stories

The way Foreman was throwing punches to ALI, it could knock down any boxer after 2 or 3 punches but here was ALI the Greatest of all time in boxing history. ALI drunked all powerfull punches and Knocked him down on floor and won the match and also won all heart. ALI the GREATEST.

If only he had retired after winning this fight. Ali could have been a special ambassador, representing the Black race, America, Muslims, and the World. Countries leaders would heed his celebrity persona, he might have been an emissary for the Camp David talks, Israel vs the Arab countries, Iraq- Iran war, maybe even Hamas, Hezbollah, and Libya. And that's only in the eighties!

Most ‘fans’ think Ali did nothing except take punishment in this fight. Wrong. Watch the fight. Ali would regularly explode with ferocity and accuracy during the rounds- showing the world that he was still good- everything was going according to his plan. The genius of this fight doesn’t lie in Ali taking punishment- it lies in the game plan. Take the body shots (Ali deliberately left his body open) and SLIP the head shots- then shock George periodically with lightning fast combinations. In the end, it was just such a combination that put George down. So it was never a ‘beating’ but a clever plan to fight George ferociously at certain times- one of them would be the final time. The final time came in the eighth round. Ali had shocked the world and won the title back against all odds at 32. That may not sound old today, but by contrast Ali had already had FORTY TWO fights. Today, Tyson Fury is talking retirement at 32 fights and age 34. Ali would go on to have another 14 fights, taking on and beating the likes of joe frazier twice, Ken Norton and Earnie Shavers. 💥🥊
