Brilliant scene but I find it odd that Shaw, as weapon proficient as she is and wielding a 50 round FN P90, couldn't hit Martine at that distance. I've seen her make better shots with a handgun !
Have you EVER tried to accurately fire a P90? They're a pain in the ass lmao. And besides, she wasn't trying to hit Martine (or anybody). It's called suppressive fire. She was trying to keep Martine from killing innocents. When she DOES decide to hit something (like the camera), she hits it in one shot.
Great show love it. Best novel drama action with a sprinkling of humor. Great interaction between the players. They should bring it back to life. Like the Phoenix. High time for a PERSON OF INTEREST 2.0. With the old POI was more focused on rival supercomputer towards end. In POI 2.0, there would no rival computer messing things up. Just p*ssed of bigshot bad guys and ladies exposed and brought to justice. The new one could stick to the mandate. With computer tweaked to weeding out big shot bad guys, and bureaucrats exposing them. Shaw and Reese honey trapping them, them delighting in painfully extracting info. To ensure their ID is kept secret. A combo of medications and EST to wipe their memory of what they had recently been through during the extraction process. Reese can honey trap the lady big shots. Reese and Bear providing security with Fusco as police backup. Finch working his magic with the computers in tracing funds, assets, secret projects, backhand deals that would cause major harm to the planet and more from the info extracted by Shaw and Reese. With Finch's magic fingers the recovered funds would distributed to those in need anonymously. Such as war veterans, nurses, teachers, health care workers, home helps, waitresses, bartenders, porters, janitors among others. If they are in fear of being evicted due to loss of breadwinner through illness or accident or laid off. Can no longer afford mortgage. Cannot afford medical bill because their insurance has run out or Whatever. At the end of each show. To shows a sample of few they have helped out of difficulty out of the many. Single parent family had their mortgage paid off. With a little extra help makes ends meet. After hubby died in an accident. Medical bill paid for a life saving operation. Bank loan paid off. After climate or other disaster hit to keep business running. War Veterans given free care in a specialist private facility to aid their rehab and treat their PTSD. Their families taken care of too. Among millions of others. Finch and co. do what they can to help. The world needs more like Finch and co in real life to help those in dire need. The show could perhaps even begin a trend in this endeavor, help a select few in need each week. If it be taken up I pray it goes viral across the globe. With follow ups every month or so to see how they are getting on.
Why does everyone think that firing a P-90 one handed is cool, Christopher Judge could pull it off as Teal'c, but its stupid, its inaccurate and its not cool.

The thing that's funny about this episode is how much they hide Shaw's stomach because of how pregnant the actress was at the time.
