plot weakness. Control was never such a strong character anyways, they focus more on making her a foolish and totally unlikable woman without a shred of decency in her, and make her powerless at convenient moments while she could have had the whole samaritan-affiliated bunch taken away and done with them as she had pleased AND pulled the feeds. Bye bye samaritan. But as I said, that would have ended the show.
That is definitely the one of the biggest plot holes, its a stretch that they would accept a closed system like the machine, but then they are okay ceding complete control to a shadow organization who is hiding things from them and has a private army
@@slykeren8371 Although true the plot was fairly weak by the end, I would argue it got lost somewhere in S04, this particular point was already addressed in S03 - When Control meets with the Senator (can't recall his name) she specifically mentions that Congress dictates who has access to the NSA feeds. Even if she could threaten Decima with pulling out, Greer and Samaritan would have simply gone above her shut her off. Not exactly the best defense.
Looks like they did their Detroit homework. The only landmark they failed to mention correctly was the fountain on Belle Isle. That's the James Scott Memorial Fountain. Other than that, not bad👍
Soo they were going to cutoff electricity to a water fountain? I feel like they may have winged the premise here a little bit and hoped nobody would follow along too closely.
She's based on Amanda Waller from Suicide Squad, who was also an overweight woman who would do whatever it took in black ops to defend her country. Biggest difference is that Control is white. And she's perfectly willing to personally get her own hands dirty. The brother in the back is a dude from The Wire. Also, what sort of woke show would have Muslim terrorists, instead of white supremacists or incels or something?
I really don’t understand why she didn’t threaten to have the nsa feeds pulled from Samaritan

I think it was something even above her, she thought she had power when it was all Samaritan pulling the strings

She met with Senator Ross Garrison in a few episode time to try and shut down Samaritan and go back to northern lights but he refused.

Person of Interest: Season 4, Episode 12 Control - Alt - Delete
Whats the arabic song name playing in the background? Sounds kinda fire ngl
Not the Belle Isle Fountain!!! We used to ice skate there in wintertime when I was a kid! And I was a student at University of Michigan-Dearborn. 😂😂😂
These people believe they have a license to murder people, who are they?

It's amazing how many actors from The Wire ended up on POI

Matush did good!!
No one cares about the Belle Isle Fountain.

These woke casts really ruin so many stories.
