I've skipped over this one because this is such a familiar song, but Toni's understated but persistent bass line mingles with Reina's warm vocals to create a new and different musical confection. I'm addicted I'm afraid....

Multi talented toni queen of the bass
Wow!
I think that this Sunday Morning Special sets a new high water mark. Reina's voice, as always, is adapting perfectly to the song. The fact that Toni plays bass (rather than lead guitar) allows Reina to not have her guitar talents "drowned out". Actually, I really enjoyed the playing, wished only to see her left hand fingering. Toni played bass like she'd done it forever. The bass player that came to mind was "like Jack Bruce". Incidentally, I also (in past performances) thought that Toni was "up to - or even better - than Clapton". I don't expect to ever compare her to Ginger Baker, but there is something to look forward too, after all...
It will be less than four weeks before I see you two again in Toronto and I feel lucky to live in this day and age.

You know, every tie I start to watch one of your alls videos, I pause like 30 secs in, and start playing a cover of your cover of a song. Then I get sucked into playing for like 30 mins to an hour and when I come back to the computer its like, oh ya, i get to listen to this song!! TLDR: Thanks for the music and keep on a rockin!!

Just another "baby boomer" here. The music of the '50s and '60s is the best pop this world has ever seen. Why does almost everything get worse as the years go by? But then there are those as yourselves. Just plain wonderful. Thank you for your talent and YES, hard work bringing such beauty to our ears (and eyes too, by the way),....lol. Memories forgotten come flooding back as do the glassy eyes when you sing. People like you make the universe a much better place to be in. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I like the way Tony makes the B sounds. She kind of holds on, then lets them explode, like she is plucking the string of the bass. Kind of like Blackadder saying "Bob."

When I saw the alert on my screen for this mornings’ “Sunday Morning...” I had no doubt that you ladies would knock this one out of the park; and you did! 👏 Well done, ladies! You never seem to disappoint- you can sing ANYTHING! And what I truly appreciate is your ability to do it like it was done, while adding your own subtle sounds and twists. It’s truly mind boggling! Perhaps another way of saying it: It is like you buy a five star Master Chef dinner from the finest restaurant, then add your own blend of seasonings!
