What!!! Toni, Guitar, singing and drums at the same time, Reina, Shaker, singing and keys at the same time, and the harmonies too! Great work ladies 👏👏🤗🤗♥️
Very surprised girls. This is just beautiful. I love this song. Have listened to it since it came out around 1960. I am 69 now, getting old! When I hear this song it always touches my heart. The lyrics are powerful yet poetic. I just listened to the original recording of this when the Every Brothers first released it. Their original is much better than their Albert Hall rendition. This is certainly one of my all time favorites. This brings back so many heart felt memories. Maybe I loved too deeply. But I married the girl of my dreams 51 years ago and we are still sweet hearts and best friends. It's ironic because my wife broke my heart when she broke up with me when I was still 15 years old. I was devastated but never quit pursuing her. We got back together 18 months later and married at 18 years old. What a great love we have shared. I can certainly say that GOD answered my prayers because there could never be another like the sweetheart I married.
This version oozes atmosphere. It's very stylized. I'm blown away with Toni holding down the high vocal and that bottomed out guitar. Literally showing her incredible range. 🤯
Well, now we all know that Toni can rub her belly and pat her head at the same time 🤣 Absolutely fantastic performance. You ladies never cease to amaze me
Ya'll are always GREAT but I've really grown to love Toni and her many talents!! She was always in the background and now has progressed to be worthy of a headliner!
Are you kidding me. Play the Guitar, bass drum, Sing and oh ya pick up a drumstick and play the beat while playing the guitar. Did I mention you have to sing harmony with another person while to doing that? Crazy talented. Makes me feel like a slacker for just playing rhythm guitar and singing my myself let alone as backup trying to keep in time with another person. Amazing.
I was a HUGE Everly Brothers fan when they first started out. My brother and I self taught on guitar so we could sing their songs and harmonize just like Don & Phill. I actually got to see them perform at one of their last live concerts. I am SURE they would be PROUD of how you keep their memories and music alive.
I was young, when I heard this song for the first time... That means: now I'm very old.😥 But you bring my feelings back ...Thank you Reina and Toni!!.👍💖
My parents had the Reunion Concert (recorded from live performance) at the Royal Albert Hall Live album. I'd already spent the first 11 years of my life listening to Beatles on vinyl. I instantly understood that the harmonies and songwriting skill of the Everly Brothers were so integral to the early Beatles development.
Excellent rendition ladies, well done! First concert I attended was in 1961, The Everly Brothers, Johnny Cash and the Carter Family, thanks Mom and Dad!
what a beautiful song done so beautifully by 2 beautiful people. I played keyboards (a Nord Electro) in a band about 20 years ago with Larry Parypa, one of the founding members of the Sonics Band from Tacoma, Wa. Gale, my wife came to one of our rehearsals and sang this very song with Larry and the band. Gale, my wife surprised me so much with the way she harmonized with Larry, listening to the two of you brought the rush of memories of her singing that song that caused me some wet eyes. I still have the mp3 that we made of Gale and Larry; I play it for myself every now and then and I sure wish you could hear it, too.
Sheer talent and beauty on display. Got all the lyrics for the first time. Not a screaming in hurt pain, but a feminine whistfulness of the truth of failed relationships.
OK you two, now you're just showing of. And what better way to show of than by multitasking. Toni plays a bass guitar ( the mellow tones btw have seeped into my soul, again), and sings and then half way through she picks up a drum stick, and while continuing to strum the guitar hits a drum head. And did I see the drum head being used as a drink table for your can? Reina sings and shakes the rattle and then joins in the keyboard halfway through. Oh, and who is drumming the big drum? Raina I guess because her leg is moving while Toni's knees are still. Clever. And Reina, when you high the low notes near the end, it was beautiful. You ladies are amazing.
Their version of Let it Be Me comes up in the algorithm. ❤ how this instrumentally is as advertised more of a Nazareth cover. . . But of course w/ EB harms
Every time I watch and listen to these (2) beautiful women make their music..... I fall in love again. LOL I'm a sucker, I know.... but these young ladies are mesmerizing. As always, just lovely, lovely music.
Ladies - I first fell in love with you both on the train tracks and couldn’t get enough of you’re syncopated rhythm. Shortly after, my home was vandalized and they stole my computers and iPads. I’ve been so busy that I haven’t been able to connect to the Internet for quite a while. Much to my surprise, I turned on my iPad this morning and Who do I see but two beautiful and talented ladies singing the smoothest rendition of the Everly Brothers “Love Hurts.” As always, thanks for breathing a bit of fresh air back into my soul. Love you both so much. Bruce
Great job ladies. I love The Everly Brothers, they had so many wonderful hits. I liked the keyboard sound, the shaker, the bass drum and the table top too. Toni always sounds great on guitar. Your harmonies sound beautiful to me. 👍👍🇨🇦
That was beautiful Reina and Toni. Love the harmony and multitasking. Losing a father also hurts. I lost my father Robert January 24, 2023. My brothers, sisters, and I sang Amazing Grace while gathered around my mom to honor him. Check out the video if you get a chance. I put links to his obituary, article by Montauk Library about him, and 2 beautiful covers of his song "Montauk" in the description. Thanks 🎹 🙏
What!!! Toni, Guitar, singing and drums at the same time, Reina, Shaker, singing and keys at the same time, and the harmonies too! Great work ladies 👏👏🤗🤗♥️
Looking at their legs I think Reina is doing the drum.
Amazing I can barely walk and talk at the same time !

Very generous of Reina to provide the "space" for Toni to really shine.
One complaint....... it wasn't long enough..... I could listen to that all day. 😎
Toni exemplifies the phrase, "Never missed a beat." There's your proof! She never misses a note for that matter!
2 people - 2 voices plus 5 instruments all harmonious and balanced. That is talent and art from the soul. Thank you.
I'm so happy that there still young people like us playing and listening to this oldies
This version oozes atmosphere. It's very stylized.
I'm blown away with Toni holding down the high vocal and that bottomed out guitar. Literally showing her incredible range. 🤯
And the kick drum...
💯👍
A drop-tuned guitar nonetheless!
I believe it was Reina singing the high part.
Yeah, I was wondering how she got that guitar tone. Is it just downtuning + neck pickup + turning down the treble?
Wow guitar and drums with one hand and at the same time.
Toni for President 🗽🎉
😆✌🏻🥰
Well, now we all know that Toni can rub her belly and pat her head at the same time 🤣 Absolutely fantastic performance. You ladies never cease to amaze me
Toni always amazes!
It's like what CAN'T she do? And playing the bean bag thing and the keyboard at the same time is no easy task. What a performance. 🤌🤌
& also sip the pop at the same times 😂👍
garry ramsey: look n hear closely!
Of course ! She's already proven she could play the harmonica while playing guitar.
Ya'll are always GREAT but I've really grown to love Toni and her many talents!! She was always in the background and now has progressed to be worthy of a headliner!

That is amazing!! They truly were an inspiration for so many generations!!
Holy multitasking! What a lovely version of this song.
Reina, so many years have passed. I am so glad that you are still here.
vocal, bass drum, guitar and drumstick on one hand, vocal, shaker, and keyboard on the other hand. Neat.
brilliant
I grew up, listening to the Everly Brothers. Thanks for the walk down memory lane.😎
She plays the beer-can stand! Toni rules supreme.
A beautiful song from my very much younger days! Reina and Toni two innovative and very creative musicians who always leave me wanting more!!!💕💕💕
Harmonious perfection.
I'm old enough to have loved the Everly Brothers harmony.
So soft so smooth …. The brothers are looking down smiling 😊
These girls are simply Amazing! Jesus!
Excellent, understated performance! Some of the best harmonies you've ever done!
I love hearing Elle sing harmony
I was young, when I heard this song for the first time... That means: now I'm very old.😥 But you bring my feelings back ...Thank you Reina and Toni!!.👍💖
Everly Brothers, one of the first albums I ever bought! Loved them! Yes, brings back feelings of that time.
@@virginiajaquez7238 👍
Pure magic. If I where in the room while they where doing this, I think I'd lose my mind.
I never cease to be amazed by these two ladies. Mind blowing performance.
Hello, impeccable le duo les girls, Jolie chanson, tanke you, à bientôt 🎶
These two blow my mind
Happiness and Blissfulness after listening to that!!!!
What's Not to Love? Love Hurts! This Heals! Beautiful Cover Ladies! Thank You! ❤️
Wow
Toni, that was amazing. Four balls in the air and each was spot on. Great performance by you both!
My parents had the Reunion Concert (recorded from live performance) at the Royal Albert Hall Live album. I'd already spent the first 11 years of my life listening to Beatles on vinyl. Wow, each hand (and foot) doing something different while singing. Unbelievable. Just beautiful.
Beautiful ❤❤❤ This is such a great song, but your voices lift it to something ethereal!
The bass run solo was a nice add
Just takes your breath away. Thank-you!
Their voices match together very well and they're both multitaskers. Absolutely fabulous. A beautiful rendition of a song from my youth. I'm smiling.
That keyboard with vibrato is the perfect touch too.
what a beautiful song done so beautifully by 2 beautiful people.

Wow wasn't expecting that to be so good. You ladies nailed it. Kind of gave me goose bumps. Nazareth would be proud.
I totally agree!! Says alot when talking about someone with a voice as big as Dan McCafferty's!!! Cheers!!
What a cool, under control guitar solo. Really nice. You guys really made this your own.
I had forgotten that song. Thanks for the memories Old ones . Love you Both
like no. 1000... Reina is really multi-tasking on this one! Definitely out of your ordinary! A favorite oldie! Thy creativity knoweth no bounds...
Sheer talent and beauty on display. Got all the lyrics for the first time. Not a screaming in hurt pain, but a feminine whistfulness of the truth of failed relationships.
You two are fantastic... An absolutely beautiful pairing...
OK you two, now you're just showing of. And what better way to show of than by multitasking.

WOW, thank you Reina and Toni!❤
Wow! Amazing! The baritone tele is perfect for this song.
If you did an album of Everly Brothers I would be in heaven. Beautiful 😍
Yes! More more!
Yes, would love to hear your harmonies on more classic Everly songs!
That would be mindblowing! Please!!

Well done ladies! Beautiful!!!
Everything about this is practically perfect.
The can on the drumhead is perfect.
Relajante. Una de sus mejores interpretaciones. Gracias
Every time I watch and listen to these (2) beautiful women make their music..... I fall in love again. LOL I'm a sucker, I know.... but these young ladies are mesmerizing. As always, just lovely, lovely music.
Wow! Two instruments each and amazing harmonies! I love it!!!!
A quartet that only takes up two seats in the van!
3 instruments on the right. Drum, the maraca(?)and keyboard 👀
You two are amazing.
- very special version of this song - soft and gentle -- only great !
Like that guitar tuning!
Very Well done!!!!!! I think one of your best duets yet...... More Everly Brothers please

Awesome, girls! You are a super multi-instrumentalist!👏👍🎸🎶😉

If I ever took and opened a music machine, I would probably find Toni in it, playing four different instruments at once. Wonderful job ladies! :)
Very nice. Was thinking of both versions while listening to this beautiful cover girls. ;-)
Chicas lindas y talentosas¡¡ Love hurts con ese arreglo se oye sencillamente HERMOSO. Felicidades niñas hermosas¡¡
Brilliant...The Everly Brothers are looking down with big smiles. Nicely done as always..
Excellente version très recherchée musicalement ! Bravo Reina et Toni👋👍🧡
Song written by The Everly Brothers main composer Boudleaux Bryant. Roy Orbison did a great cover of it. Excellent job as always ladies.
Yes!!! I always loved Nazareth's version, too. I always felt they were the ones to really put the song on the map, so to say.
Great done very beautiful ..loved 🌏🎶👍
Both of them are playing 2 instrument & singing at the same time.... amazing!!!💙💙
What a wonderful version that was, talk about multi tasking 👏
You two make beautiful music together!! Harmony is made in the stars, meant to be!
Simply beautiful
I'm still shadow banned I see, and for what ? Leaving nice comments ?
That was beautiful Reina and Toni. Love the harmony and multitasking. Losing a father also hurts. I lost my father Robert January 24, 2023. This version made me listen to the lyrics again, powerful.
Very good
Really freaking me out shaking that thing within 6" of your beer which is sitting on an awesome keyboard. 😱
Phenomenal Toni and Reina!
I always seem to migrate back to you two! this never gets old.
So impressed with your multiple instrument feats! (and feets). Nice arrangement and of course lovely singing.
Fantastic performance. Especially love Toni's voice in it.
Multitaskers. Love the song, great job! Omaha misses you
Gorgeous minimalist arrangement. I love it!
That's just lovely. Not a word I use often, but it just is.
The prettiest cover to a very pretty song
What a brilliant arrangment from such a dynamic duo ! Totally amazing and a joy to watch and listen to!
Wow fantastic girls. Loved BOTH of you... Blending is beautiful.
This is a huge classic and you gals nailed it!!!!
