Best ensemble cast in a long time. This guy is great, though. I looked forward to every Bob scene. I'd want a whole series about him, but it probably works better in doses. I do wish they'd do a sequel to The Offer though.

It’s one thing to do a great impression, but it’s a whole other level to be able to emote through that impression and make it a real person.
I'm still surprised how Matthew didn't get Oscar for this role ?

I haven’t seen the show yet but when he was super drunk at the club I knew he was going to throw this glass.
Those last scenes were funny and sad b/c he really went off the deep end. I felt bad for him.
He was my favorite
He was the best part of the series, I really only finished it to make sure I didn’t miss any scenes with him

As someone who did the corpo thing for a while, you get real sick of your superiors not putting their money where their mouth is. SIck of bosses who cut out when things get tough.
But not Bob. He's ready to run right into the fire for his ass, and everyone else's ass. That's grade-A leadership right there. That's a man you can follow to Hell and back, and that's why Paramount used to be a killer studio.

Yeah, Coppola never wanted him for that part. But it was a compromise to let Coppola use Pacino as Michael, ultimately. The studio didn't think they could sell the movie without at least one established star in it.
@@crazyralph6386 He was literally the least Italian human being on the planet; it never made any sense. Caan played the role beautifully, of course because he's a great actor - but it never made any sense, physically.
@@redadamearth Really odd, though, how _The Offer_ miniseries omits how Coppola literally just directed Caan and Robert Duvall in 1969’s _The Rain People._
I can only imagine Bob Iger, Kathleen Kennedy and Kevin Feige’s faces when they see a Star Wars, Marvel or Disney movie that’s not woke and made a lot of money than the other woke movies! They’d be super pissed off!!!! And that’s good!
