The screen is our only connection to reality, to life and we can make it all go away by simply putting the thing in our pocket. A generation ago you’d have to shut off the television to make it all go away but the tv still remains, as a reminder, visible. Idk, there just seems to be so much going on in that exact gesture you’re identifying.

And the irony, Roman is the one who keeps his cool in an extremely dangerous situation while Karl is having heart palpitations ❤️. I think Logan was actually somewhat impressed with Roman for this and honestly telling him that the money from the Middle East was too good to be true.
