@@stefannilsson6843 Haha, yea, and "word processors" aka text editors w/ rich formatting (e.g., colors, fonts, stylizing). Some built in apps like MS Paint and depending on the OS, a few other games, haha. We've come so far in the last 30 years, it's nuts! Technically, the Internet was created in 1969 w/ the first connection b/w UCLA and SRI, but yea, you're right, it wasn't until ~1996-1997 that a lot of people in the USA started to get Internet access (largely due to AOL and misc others like CompuServe, MSN, Prodigy, Sprint).

They have some really great “behind the scenes” videos from the writers who talk about how they came up with the ideas. SO MANY are real stories that inspired scenes or entire shows.
Yea there's almost a dozen writers sitting around a oval table brainstorming together and piggy backing off each other's ideas its quite amazing...ppl are awesome

I can't but point out how much I love, that this show NEVER explained (or repeated) anything, that could be considered to be obvious to a decent, apprehensive watcher.
And Jane/Jamie licking her lips at the end was the most hilarious punch line ever!
Man, Jami Gertz was something else. Probably would have been one of the most famous actresses of the 90s and 00sif she kept working. But I guess marrying a billionaire will do that to you.

She did keep working and she didn't marry a billionaire. She married a guy on his way up and he became a billionaire much later. He was married to him in 1989.
Not really...she was never a lead in anything, and of the movies that she was in....none of them were really great. Less Than Zero was probably the best. And Twister was probably the biggest budget film...but it was a small role that wasn't well received.
