Went to see them live in the 70s wow they were amazing. Dave's voice is incredible loved Buddy too. Only Romeo from the original line up still with them now Just been to see them again in 2023 doing there 50th year tour.

I went to see showaddywaddy at the playhouse in whiltley bay they were absolutely brilliant I also saw them at the city Hall in Newcastle years ago 1970s

As a 11 year old l really liked showwaddywaddy. I got a few singles. I brought this one. I still have the album " Red Star." I didn't dress like them though. Ha ha.

Dave's voice was like liquid gold in the early days.His high notes started to suffer later on. The trouble is,all these 60's songs are so bleedin high to begin with 😀
He could have replaced Bon Scott in ACDC

most crap pop groups who have a lot of hits usually have one song that is good or at least half decent but showaddywaddy are that rarity of a band for whom every record they released was a pile of absolute fucking shite(bar none)-
10 top ten hits, 9 of them top 5s. 1 number one, and 4 number two hits. The 8th highest selling group in the UK charts in the whole 70s decade proves you don't know what you are talking about.
