They're still performing now and they're fantastic live. They still get the young girls to come on stage and dance with them. I've got several of their CD's, I put them on and dance around with the cleaner. If the neighbours complain I turn the music up. Absolutely loved the 70's, we had great bands, great music and we knew how to enjoy ourselves. Wish I could get transported back to the 70's ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great memories of these beautiful times of music. Best music years ever. I was born in 1962 and very happy that I was able to experience these years when it was noh beautiful music with content. 60s 70s and 80s best years.
i was born in 1962 too this music is just the best we lived throght the best times
Hi Angela hope mud and sweet were favourites of yours back in the day
Angela, so weird we have similar names. I was born in 64 and I agree, we were very lucky. Remember the Showaddywaddy, Pilot, Mudd, Rubettes fans all arguing which was the best group. I loved them all. They were all fun, but Showaddywaddy really didnt take themselves that serious. The lead singer was definitely the best looking and I had a picture of him in my school folder that I would swoon over now and then. Music was everything to me as a child and I love to look back and remember.
Ты прав, нынешняя музыка никудышная
Saw Showaddywaddy in Glasgow on Sunday, Romeo Challenger still brilliant at 73 yrs old !!
Thank you showaddywaddy for all the great memories and the great music you're being part of my life made a long by showaddywaddy
A teenager in the 70s with songs like this, just wow
As I recently learned from my RUclips handlers, the original was written in 1958 and first recorded by the Kalin Twins.
Doesn't get any better than this. I came across this again early this week by accident, I've always loved this catchy song.
Ah! Happy memories of my "drainpipe trousers", Tony Curtis hair, velvet collar & black suede shoes covered in gold music notes! I will never grow up!👍👍😁😁
I bet you looked amazing. 😂.
With memories like that, why grow up?
I would have to have seen that. 😊.
If only the past would invite me back, 1962 born, love this group.
Absolutely love this group showaddywaddy they make great songs ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hello Pauline, How are you doing?
Back in the 1950s there were guys would stand on the street corners and hum together "Bub Bub Showaddywaddy" and I've read all about it.
The legend that is Trevor Oakes on guitar. I saw him do a solo gig in a pub in Torquay in 2014 and he rocked the friggin' house.
Awesome band and amazing vocals 🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼

Great showmen...my favourite band of the late 70's in my teenage eyes :)
Nearly 40 years ago. Frightening !!!

Brings back memories of the Sheffield Fiesta days saw them many many times good band in the day x
I also saw them at the Fiesta. Was sat next to the stage. Wearing a v-neck top, one of the band standing near me remarked "I can see right down your top" I replied in a sexy voice "Yes, I know you can." You should have heard his reaction.

Cool sound
I've just heard this on BOOM RADIO brings back memories.
💕💕💕💕💕
Nice
Well, I was born in 1958 but please don't tell anyone!
Exciting times for a 3-year-old: Moon landing, Bay of Pigs, Re-Installation of those nasty Pershing missiles. Oh yes, and JFK in Berlin, Schoeneberger Rathaus: "Ich bin ein Berliner!" I also fondly remember the Neue Deutsche Welle - what great songs! Nena letting fly 99 Luftballons, singing:
99 Kriegsminister streicheln die Benzinkanister.
So, what's new?
What's the CRAIC?
How is Tricks in Cork?
💖
