Me too. Also had experience as RN 50 yrs) 5 yrs in Sales/Marketing in Big Pharma, 10 yrs as Case Manager/Long Term Health Insurance. /2 of my best friends ( a couple) died within 1 month of each other we all got it together-Delta variant-all no vax. They died-I almost did. 12 Priests concelebrated at funeral. I never checked into hospital. Was ready to go to God -73 yrs old /living alone. Would do it again. Did want to live to do whatever God wants me to do. I passionately want to get people to heaven, as I’m sure everyone who listens to this YT does I pray for us to be inspired by the Holy Spirit to speak/do what God wants with courage, good cheer, and conviction!
Pray that Our Lord grants this wicked Francis a Pauline Conversion before his coming death and judgement.
Also vaccine is unsafe and ineffective at stopping COVID.

I’ve never heard Mr. Coffin before today and was with him until his judgments on the SSPX. He is manifestly NOT in a position to render such verdicts nor even use such language. Thanks for asking him the question; saves me the trouble of looking any further into him.
You are discounting yourself by having a cultist obsession with Lefebvre. You can admire the man without viewing him as your infallible savior.

With respect, I urge you to Not discount/reject the man because of a flaw/blind gap in his perception about FSSPX.
Personally, I'd love for Patrick (and others!) to accept the reasons and necessity that FSSPX exists >AND serves the Faith and souls.< Yet, in these dark times, I think only genuinely serious/grave cause should be present before a good man (who has Not demonstrated any wilful actions done against the Deposit of Faith and Morals-which Berg. and his complicit bishops are publicly guilty of) is discounted or outright rejected.

This was a great interview Jordan . I have always been a fan of Pat Coffin from Catholic Answers. However, I do disagree with him on the SSPX. It would great to see him have a discussion about the SSPX with Kennedy Hall.
If not for Archbishop Lefebvre and the SSPX, we would not have any Latin Masses, at all.
Sspx are in communion with Rome. Thank God for archbishop lefvre! ( I do not attend a Sspx chapel but love them)

Didn't Christ say, "by the fruit of the tree shall ye know them...". What is there to be convinced about? The truth is slapping you in the face. Yeah.. But it's rubbish
Benedict was subjectively and objectively the best pope since VII. Very well versed in the faith, wrote some very non traditional stuff as a Cardinal but on the throne of Peter did incredible work to help rebuild tradition, all for it to be ripped away by Jorge. I met him when he made his us tour and was very much impressed, I had not thought very much of him prior because I heard nasty things, and then I met him and listened to him and started looking at what he was actually doing (not to mention finding my way to the Tridentine because of his work with the TLM communities and Summorum Pontificum). I was with my youth group that went to see him in Yonkers and he totally impressed me as a clearly devout and sanctified pontiff. I call him Benedict the Persecuted for the way he was always under siege.
Being able to see through what was happening was a grace from God. Those who God prepared and have this insight to have much to give thanks for. Everyone I know who saw it for what it was, simply just knew in their heart what was happening. So good to see Patrick. I really miss his commentary. Thank you both!

In thinking that, a sedevacantist feels free to go against the pope and his magisterial teachings and if he has a high clerical office, or a podcast or RUclips channel, he exerts tremendous influence among the faithful and likely to lead them astray! This creates division in the Church, something I hate to see! Sedevacantism leads to the grave sin of schism similar to Luther in establishing Protestantism!

Actually, Sedevacantists are following Church teaching that true Popes are incapable of teaching heresy -- that if they could teach heresy, as Pope Leo XIII said, that would make God the author of error.

We may sometimes wonder why Saint Vincent Ferrer, a great saint and miracle worker, was wrong about who was the valid pope in his time. Perhaps the lesson here is that identifying an anti-pope is primarily and perhaps singularly a function of using one's mind, that is applying reason to evidence, and not of any kind of spiritual discernment or personal sanctity.
So let us reasonably examine our present papal situation.
We can reasonably conclude that the cardinals held a concave before Pope Benedict properly manifested a resignation as required by Canon law. His letter of resignation merely stated his intentions for the future. But manifesting a resignation requires actually taking proper actions that are visible in the present. And It is obvious that Pope Benedict never subsequently manifested a resignation through his actions.
The cardinals also erred by electing someone unfit for the papal office.
And now, instead of doing the necessary justice of rectifying their errors by removing this heretic anti-pope, the cardinals are just sitting back and waiting for God to clean up their mess.
This is irresponsible action and inaction.
Pope Benedict's resignation is not the only issue here. Bergoglio teaches things that he fully knows are contradictions of perennial Church teaching. Perhaps the clearest case of this is that he changed the catechism to express his own contradiction of the perennial Church teaching on the death penalty.
He knows what he is doing when he teaches this heresy. He is therefore a formal heretic.
A formal heretic is not a Catholic. Someone who is not a Catholic cannot be pope. Bergoglio is a formal heretic and therefore cannot be pope.
Some people may think that there's no authority by which an heretical pope can be removed.
But Pope Innocent III taught that a pope who falls into heresy can be removed. Pope Innocent III's teaching is within the ordinary magisterium, to which the faithful are said to owe submission of mind and will. So yes, the Church does authoritatively teach that an heretical pope can be removed.
This teaching is entirely in accord with right reason: since a heretic is not a Catholic, and since a non-Catholic can not be a pope, a non-Catholic who may appear to be ‘pope’ actually has no valid claim to the papacy. And obviously an anti-pope can not have the protections that a valid pope has.
Bowing to a lack of formal authority for declaring Bergoglio an anti-pope is a red herring. Concluding that Bergoglio is an anti-pope does not properly arise from the exercise of authority, but from the process of human reason applied to evidence. In other words, Bergoglio's status is an issue of fact, not something to be determined by an announcement from authority. Facts are not established by authoritative pronouncement. Facts are found out. That is why we speak about a finding of fact.
Our minds are the proper means for formulating and articulating the case that Bergoglio is not a valid pope. We have the right, and even the duty, to use our minds to do so.
Jesus commanded us to love God with our whole mind. The mind is the seat of reason, and reason is the means whereby we can attain to truths which are not dependent upon faith alone. The truth about Bergoglio's status is not a matter of faith. Progress towards the truth about Brocoglio's status certainly must be made through the use of reason applied to evidence.
When the use of reason demonstrates that Bergoglio is an antipope, a human solution becomes quite possible. For an anti-pope does not possess the status and protection that a valid pope has.
St Catherine of Siena certainly never held the opinion that a human solution was not possible for the papal crisis of her time.
Anyone wonder what St Catherine of Siena would say to our cardinals? There's no need to wonder. We already know what she said to the cardinals of her time who installed an anti-pope. She said, "You have installed Satan on the Chair of Peter, and you deserve to be tortured." But she also pointed to a way out for them. She told them that they must do their duty and remove the anti-pope.
The Benedict-appointed cardinals must do the same.
There are no grounds to appeal to the lack of an established mechanism to remove an anti-pope as an excuse to do nothing. The means are available. The Benedict-appointed cardinals need to issue a statement that Bergoglio is an anti-pope, and immediately elect one of themselves (or perhaps Archbishop Vigano) to be pope.
Where there is a will, there is a way. The real problem is that there appears to be no will to take responsible action in this dire crisis.
Bergoglio is a dire crisis.
When someone is setting fire to your house, you take immediate action. You don't wait for God to take care of it.
It is that lack of action and silence is far more frightening to me....the evidence is undeniable ( by putting his signature on the Abu Dhabi document is a clear formal heresy), but it seems that the majority of the

I assume that the reason that the hierarchy is not challenging the legitimacy of Bergoglio is that they are deeply afraid of a resulting schism. But schism, with truth on one side and heresy on the other, is preferable to unity with a heretic. Catholics should be given a clear choice between truth and heresy.

I think the idea ridiculous that a man who says and then acts as if he has resigned has not actually resigned. I think this is a very weak position to hold. My "solution" to the puzzle is that, simply, you have a heretic (or two or three or more?) in the papal office in recent times, but this does not mean the Church has defected or that you need to form your own group and/or theorize that the entire hierarchy has vanished and everyone is "invalid" except for two unknown priests in Ohio and a hundred year old bishop in the far east or whatever. Just put aside whatever these bad popes did or said that isn't truly Catholic and await a future resolution. Treat it as multiple instances of heresy or confusion or abuse of power rather than saying the Church has gone off the rails.
I think the proper way to see things is according to the parable of the wheat and the weeds. You don't want to go around plucking out the weeds and destroying the wheat at the same time. Let the crop mature and come to harvest. Then God will sort it out.
I don't see a problem with staying within the visible Church and "disobeying" when necessary to keep the Faith. Haven't people always had to do this when there have been bad clerics around? You can't expect perfect and/or timely resolutions to such problems, but you do have to stand up for truth and not be compromised in the meantime. As always, God is going to judge you personally for what you did and said and how you lived. He's not going to ask you how so-and-so bishop/priest/pope lived.

SSPX was, in fact, in schism before, until Pope Benedict XVI formerly remitted excommunication on SSPX on 1/21/2009. I understand that (from demon's admission during an Exorcism, available in jesusmariasite) Archbishop Lefebvre has been under expiation in Purgatory for his disobedience to Popes John and Paul. I believe that SSPX will be an important part of the True Catholic Church after the Great Schism which will take place when a false pope denies the Real Presence of Christ in the Holy Eucharist (which is coming very shortly now).
Luther and Lefebvre are nowhere close to each other theologically, and the Archbishop is neither a heretic nor an apostate, which is a good bit more than can be said for Martin Luther, despite the apparent devotion often shown him by the current occupant of the Chair of Peter.

I have to admit though, after the interesting intro, his position on the SSPX is surprising to say the least. A very strange position he finds himself in, not acknowledging the pope yet saying that the SSPX is in schism.

Even Pope Benedict VI later stated Archbishop Marcel Lefebve was right to not accept the agreement presented by the Vatican back in the late 1980’s. You stated they were promised a Bishop, but to this day one has never been provided and it is obvious they never planned to provide one. I came to the same conclusion as Coffin at around the same time, 2020, and I am so much more at peace than before this realization.
Glad to hear Mr. Coffin is on board:+) Although we need to address the true cause of all of this i.e. the modernism in the Church. And yes, that includes the Second Vatican Council, the Novus Ordo, the post Conciliar Popes on whether they were formal or merely material heretics (agree with Patrick, having them formal heretics would negate the Apostolic Succession) and the clergy/faithful who are steeped in modernist thinking whether they know it or not. I was a ten year old at that Eucharistic Congress and attended the mass said by “the Polish Cardinal”. Veterans’ Stadium. My mom was so excited when Pope John II was elected Pope. He celebrated the Mass for us. Such a good memory. Thanks for reminding me.

What a Freaking good show. Love Patrick. He speaks the truth.
But how did the SSPX do the right thing and the hierarchy in "full Communion" with the Church do the wrong thing. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. By your fruits you shall no them. While there is a role for legality in the Church, it is a secondary thing. The Supreme law of the Church is the Salvation of souls. If one rejects the SSPX but accepts the legal actions of the approve hierarchy you merely follow the path of the Pharisees and put interpretation of the law and its details ahead of and as superior to the supreme law.
We are living in difficult times and obedience is key….as long as the action is not heretical….😢

I'm glad you mentio ed Natural Family Planning..I took the course in my 20's and it provided a wonderful comforting grasp of my own physiology not previously encountered. Growing teens and young women need to learn it! Couples too attended.
Those who are learned will be as radiant as the sky in all its beauty; those who instruct the people in goodness will shine like the stars for all eternity.
Probably terrible numbers with all the N.O. main beliefs on abortion, gay marriage, etc, but.....there are still some that are daily Mass goers, and are uber traditional in their beliefs, and attend the TLM when possible. I know several groups (includes myself) in that category. Fact is that there are some (not including myself:) in the N.O. community that are just as, if not holier than some in the strictly TLM community. Kind of like how the Japanese remained Catholic (or as close as they possibly could) after not having a priest for over 200 years with the priests who finally came were absolutely astounded at their faithfulness. With God, all things are possible. Miracles happen every day if you pay attention:)

Great interview and a riveting discussion. I learned a lot thank you! and actually felt some relief as Patrick Coffin confirms all that has been happening with this papacy and why. Note he is not a sedevanticast and he has a good explanation as to why he only sees this pope as invalid.Great job guys. I hope you have him on again. And yes!! people are finally getting off the fence and questioning to what has become more unacceptable, absurd and aggregious.

Thank you. Always good to hear Patrick Coffin! Sadly, most people who bash his explanation of the SSPX are missing the mark on the status of the Society. Loving the TLM should never separate us from the One Holy Apostolic Mother Church. I attend an FSSP parish, and love Opus Dei. They do great work of evangelization.
So my Pastor is a Canon Lawyer. He skated over Francis' letter right before Christmas Mass. I understand why all Priests are afraid to speak out. Kate Mccown Loeffler.
Similar experience for me. I attended a TLM and follow on line St Margaret of Hungary out of Cleveland Oh.it’s difficult to attend the Novus Ordo new mass.
Its empty somewhat and sometimes feel like a Protestant all happy clapping. The TLM is the real deal.

The fact that Francis rejected the title "Vicar of Christ" and wants to be called instead "Bishop of Rome" says it all. By this he is admitting that Benedict continued to be the true Pope in the sight of God.
I'm hesitant to say Benedict was the pope until his death, but he was so obviously holy and humble and Bergoglio is trying to destroy his legacy!

The Dimond brothers are about 90% correct, but then they fall into heresy and they do not have apostolic succession or churches or the sacraments from what I gather. Please take a look at the CMRI. We are the largest Sedevacantist congregation in the world. Our bishop is headquartered in Omaha, NE.
I've often wondered if classical sedevacantism, like no pope since 58, is just a smoke screen to make the idea that B16 could have remained the legitimate Pope a ridiculous idea. It's a very confusing time to be a faithful Catholic. But something is going on here that requires a deeper look.
Go to TLM in Louisville, Ky. Only available on Sunday. No Holy Thursdays , Good Friday, or Holy Saturday TLM in diocese. Will be going to SSPX for these devotions.
The problem with Pope Benedict choosing to knowingly do a partial resignation is three fold: a) he would have to purposely sit back and allow the Church to be demolished by an anti-pope and leave no after death message to correct things b) he would not have faith in the protection of the papacy via a valid conclave and c) he would go against his longtime modernist German theological belief that the papacy can be bifurcated. I would prefer that Pope Benedict just be acting as the longtime Modernist thinker he was and expand the Petrine ministry which is precisely what he did rather than try and mystically and magically read between his lines. Let your yes be yes and your no be no. THAT was Our Lord. God bless~
When Francis the divider causes so much confusion, no one is wrong. Only the pope.
Under the thinking of Mr. Coffin, ultimately, since it is virtually impossible to have a conclave of only those Cardinals in office prior to the elevation of Pope Francis ( and leaving out those appointed by Francis ) then the result is that there will never be another pope.
This is a horrific conclusion and I sincerely hope and pray this is not the case.
Of course, if all the remaining (living) cardinals appointed by Pope Benedict and John-Paul II vote for the next pope after Francis ( regardless of how the Cardinals appointed by Francis might vote for a new pope ) then there would be a valid pope.
However, the possibility exists that if all the present cardinals appointed ( appointed by Francis, Benedict, and John-Paul II ) vote for a man who is different from a man the properly appointed cardinals ( by Benedict, John-Paul II) vote for in an unknown and apparantly unsuccessful ballot because he did not obtain the majority of all those voting, then the conclave could end up publically announcing the election of another anti-pope, while an actual properly elected pope voted for in the unknown ballot (by those cardinals appointed by only Benedict, John-Paul II ) would remain unknown.

Patrick is quite possibly correct on Francis, but I think he's wrong on Marcel Lefebvre and the SSPX.
Our SSPX frequently mentions the errors of the pope and those in the hierarchy. It's always with charity.
If what Patrick says about the "transition" is accurate, how come 100 other Bishops have not made similar observations? It is not hard to believe in itself, but it is hard to believe *by* itself.
