      Wow you must have a lot of time on your hands don't ya? Why are you mentioning Kerr... obviously volume affects efficiency you dumb dummy. Westbrook dunks better than Curry and stat pads better - everywhere else Curry is superior. Curry's defense, by the way, is miles above Westbrook. Westbrook LED THE LEAGUE in not contesting 3-pt shots for 30 minutes played players. If that's not bad defense, I don't know what is.
      Jordan did not guard the best players - that was Pippen and Rodman. That's why Phil Jackson did not want Jordan to guard Magic in the finals for example. Does that make him bad? No. Klay does not need to handle the ball and has better perimeter defense than Curry, hence he guards the best player. Of course Curry can defend pretty much anyone playing position 1-2 but what competent coach would let him defend the best attackers when they already have good defenders for that role.

      Let me fix that for you right now lol.... the Jerry West and Wilt Lakers won a single title... the year after Elgin retired. I think a lot of his stats were somewhat inflated by the era he played in (similar to Wilt averaging 50 and Oscar averaging a triple double through 5 season), and don't think he deserved a statue in front of Staples either. Just my two cents.

  • @shicrapt
    @shicrapt 6 лет назад +86

    You know why almost all retired players keep dissing Curry and belittling his skills? Because they're not shooters. They score most of their points close to the basket so they can't relate to beating opponents by shooting lights out. For them, the only way you can be great is if you were born with leaping ability to regularly dunk the ball, not working hard on perfecting your outside shot. The few greats who actually appreciate what Curry does include Bird, Jerry West, Baylor and you can see why - they're shooters.

    • @s.l5787
      @s.l5787 6 лет назад +17

      friend, If you are so confident they should have won and Adam Silver helped Lebron, wonder why they went and got KD or called him in the parking lot right after game 7.?. Love how you omitted that part :-) come on man everyone knows whats up. they are a great team but they wouldn't have won without KD again. they kinda cheated their way into the second ring by getting KD and third, fourth on the way....plus First one they should not have won cause it was their first and Lebron was playing alone. Kyrie was NOT important ? lol hahahaha Look what Kyrie did to Curry/Warriors in game 7, clutch plays put the dagger in their hearts. snatch that 73 win season right from them in one shot. .they were hurt so bad they went and recruited KD. and sorry 41 points in game 5 from Kyrie. come on now. that was a component that Lebron did not have. we get It you love curry, he's a great player but he kinda disappeared in 2016 finals and made HORRIBLE plays. it happens its fine but he needed KD to the rescue to take that pressure off :-)

    Elgin Baylor one of the most humble GOATS gave respect to LeBron and to Steph Curry. #realrecognizesreal. Curry's shooting ability and the different ways he can score and get his shot off makes him a freak of nature in that aspect. And impact his team the way he does in a system and doing the little things to help his team. LeBron James is the best player of his time no question and arguably the most physically built athletic freak of nature wing the league has ever seen.

    I am so sick and tired of these sports people interjecting Lebron James name when talking about Steph Curry. These 2 men are not twins or even teammates. Its like when they mention Tupac, they got to bring up Biggie Smalls ,to my dismay. Please people, keep Lebron James off Steph Curry coattails and please keep Biggie Smalls off Tupac's coattails

    We can give props to Steph all day but who really deserves props is one of the ALL-Time SF's in History. Elgin Baylor. I watched games and highlights of this man even though I'm only 20 years old. This man was one of the most tenacious and pure hearted players of his time. He was Michael Jordan before Michael, Kobe before Kobe and LeBron before Lebron.

    Remember kids Elgin Baylor was the guy responsible for creating guys like Dr.J and MJ. Ridiculous control over the ball and ability to finish. There's a reason why he averaged 37 points in one season and it was in an era where you were not allowed to palm the ball.

    Elgin was the first to play above the rim. At 6' 5" he was the prototype of gravity defying stars that came later like Dr. J, Dominique, Michael, Drexler, Vince Carter etc. Baylor could do everything they all could do and most of the time do it
    better.

  • @stephencurry3626
    @stephencurry3626 6 лет назад +1

    there are people who said that "curry isnt a 2nd pg of all time bc all he can do is shoot" lmao lemme explain when people compared curry to kyrie they always say kyrie has better handles yup kyrie has better handle than curry but not by far coz curry has a better handles too we all know that, they said if you're a pg you need a passing skills (magic johnson) curry has a passing skills too if you wactched curry's youll see his passing skills no look pass etc. (like magic but magic did it better, bc thats magic's skills) curry can rebound too just like magic johnson, curry can block, curry can steals also, curry can finish inside on the paint too.
    the difference is CURRY IS A GREATER SHOOTER THAN THEM
    magic (passing skills)
    curry (shooting skills)

    LBJ is a freak of nature, but the common man can never relate to him in that sense because very few are built that way. One of the main reasons people love Steph is because, even though he is one of the best basketball players in the world, he resembles the common man. And it gives people a guy that they can somewhat relate to. "Average" size (he still is pretty ripped but relative to the majority of the NBA) guy doing extraordinary things. It's a marvel
