I'm dropping a new banger soon to make my fans happy because you all made this journey remarkable for me as an American Country musician .If you wanna talk more my first digit is 860 followed by 736 then 304 and 1
Still listening in December 2024.These songs are rare gems today. All the crap today has to do with sex, crime, murder and drugs. These songs were at the heart of what country music was and still should be today.
Why Mr. Chesnutt didn’t go any further in country music is completely beyond me! Listen to that voice control and his vibrato! That’s pure talent, not luck.
Yep, He got caught up in the hollywood country music time period where they were trying to appeal to everyone..especially those that don't know country music. Still to this day.
Mark Chesnutt had a 15 year run as a consistent hit maker with over 12 #1 hits and 24 top 10 country hits, so he went pretty far, but should have won more music awards.
One of my all time favorites. Big shoutout to all my 40 something homeboys who grew up on Mark, Tracy, George, Alan. 90's country will be looked back upon as a golden time capsule.
I think this is one of the best country songs of the nineties. Mark Wright produced this album and I loved how he didn’t hold back even though Mark Chesnutt’s voice is a strong instrument. The piano/steel guitar intro immediately eludes to the two people in the song. Mark’s passionate vocal shows us how much these two people need each other.
He never has received the credit he deserves. Songs from the heart...he could sing about real life events and paint you the picture crystal clear like you were there.
Mark Chestnutt has always been one of my favorites. He is Old Country, and I am so glad his music can take me back home. His voice is exceptional, just like this song.
I'm dropping a new banger soon to make my fans happy because you all made this journey remarkable for me as an American Country musician .If you wanna talk more my first digit is 860 followed by 736 then 304 and 1
I miss GREAT country music ! I don't even listen to the radio anymore. If I want to listen to COUNTRY I come here and look up people like Mark Chesnutt.
Shirley D I sent an e mail to the country station in my town. they plan to be set up at the Mark Chesnutt show im going to tomorrow night.it read... please be prepared to catch a lot of flack from the fans at the show tomorrow.these are traditional country fans...who really only want a classic country radio station in our town....your station does not even play Marks music... myself and the other fans know that your station only plays pop country as you call it...we have less than favorable terms for what you play and what you call country music....it my be a good day to give your people the day off.... your station showing up is similar to Mary Poppins coming to an Alice Cooper show....don't bother
Mark Chestnutt was and still is one of my favorite! Every time I hear these classics it takes back to my teenage years in the 90's driving my 86 square body Chevy listening to his cassette tapes. Man I miss those days!😢❤
Hello 👋 Marilyn. How are you doing? Hope you are fine. I'm Mark Clifford and am from Denver Colorado, where are you from? You seem like a real country girl
Mark Chestnut is so underrated it's a crime!! He's the best by far in my book of the "90s" singers that came out cause he is real country and just has the voice and no gimmicks to prove it..Mr Chestnut hope you are quick to get well with whatever is going on with you and you get outta the hospital real soon cause I'm ready to see you when Old Country comes back near my town, thanks for the awesome music over the years and again get well quickly 🙏🙏🙏
70's and 80's was a landmark for music, both Rock and country. You know why? People were different, we didn't hate and there weren't so much political bias. That generation of singers came up in homes that were not saturated in Hollywood and cell phones.
I don't know why they don't play this good music on Country radio anymore. Nowadays, it's this country-pop crap. Mark Chesnutt is one of the good ole' Country boys. His voice is smooth, like the finest cognac.
Denise Odier: I totally agree with you. Lucky if Country Radio plays 1 song in 10 that is what I call Prime Country Music. You can hear it on SiriusXM ch 58. There are many sources like Amazon Music, iTunes music, and many other sources that you can listen to. Other sources can be on Online Radio stations too. Check them out. Hope this helps.... Country music is STILL very much alive....
I'd give up the last 10 years of my life to go back and relive 1992....the music was great..people was real back then..the whole world has gone to hell..what happen????
Collin Z71 There are still cats who made records in the 90s but were really young who don't play the game. Like this guy: JD MYERS This was written with WAYLON in 1997 but never recorded and released until Dec 2017. ruclips.net/video/cJy_VHRtO84/видео.html
