Nice! I wouldn't recommend putting the blowoff valves on, as your ECU cannot account for it. You'd be trading sound, for possible issues/damage to the engine/turbos.

I still have my on no issues year later and actually the are a warranty for you turbos the pressure from turbos have to go somewhere better out than in.

Why didnt you get the AMS stage 3 tune? It produces about 450whp and 500lbs torque. The kit is; intakes, large heat exchanger, lower down pipes and the tune+ port dongal.
I wanted just a little more power and wanted to run a little bit of E so that’s why I went with that. What I have was basically between the stage 3 and the ra500 package. But they don’t offer that thru ams but all my parts are ams

You should get the new turbos by z1. They are called the vrx70, with your current setups you could get around 750+ hp.and it helps with temps alot, they are bolt on meaning no modification.

im pushing 473whp and 508tq on my Q60 with pretty much same bolt ons on 93pump gas with my dyno tune. im assuming you are e-tuned via the ecutek app? i think you could push for power with a dyno tune. sweet wrap though

Sure thing the one I have is the MBRP one which is a full catback and it’s under 1k I think I paid like 950 or something like that.
Check speedcultures you tube videos he has a custom exhaust pretty reasonable .I used it minus the Borla muffler which i still have
What is your definition of crazy expensive? Axle-back, catback, turbo back? Do you want titanium or is stainless good? You can also save by installing yourself. Find the system that you want and then look/wait for sale/specials. Lastly, what loudness level are you after?

To be honest with you man I’ve never been on a dyno so these were just ballpark numbers. I actually have no idea how much I’m pushing
Full Downpipes are around a 20 Peak WHP when compared to a Lower Downpipe.
would you recommend getting the AMS intakes or just getting z1 performance drop in filters for the oem ones?

Wow I’m sold. I’m in uk tho so a lot of the mods won’t be available here but I’ll be happy if I can get a proper tune, exhaust work, coil overs, tints and some bodywork adjustments i.e spoiler, 4d gel plates, new wheels and tyres

For the 2018 red sport bumper swap what did you swap out? Like I know the grill has to go but does everything else plug n play like the fog lights
There’s a bunch of videos explaining this bust basically the grille and emblem bracket have to be replaced and if it comes with the fog light bezels then you will be fine. Your oem fog lights amd turn signal lights will bolt right up to the new bezels.
When you switch maps from daily and race mode are you still making the same power on 91 octane? Or does it shift better depending on the mode
It changes the amount of boost you push so you definitely feel a power difference

What’s the best q50 trim for performance mods ? I know the redsport stock is the fastest with twin turbo but I want to be able to beat hellcats after modding one out
They all have the same engine same turbos. If you want to beat a hellcat just buy the cheapest trim of the 3.0t and go full bolt on and upgrade the turbos.

@@Adrians_Editsyes when the cars are stock. Not really when they are tuned. The redsport from factory already comes tuned with 400 hp and it has an extra water pump but that’s the main difference so you would see more of a difference if you tuned a base 3.0t as opposed to a redsport. If you don’t plan on tuning it get a red sport.

@@Adrians_Edits the gear range is shorter on the luxe, from what i have been told if you can go balls deep into the luxe itd be the fastest at the end.. or other way around, but there IS a difference in their gear ranges for sure

Imma be honest bro I’m on my second engine so my new engine only has like 25k miles on it. My first one blew when it was like 45k. Kind of worked out in my favor tho because I went full bolt on on the new engine.

Not recommended at all I would say just buy the lpfp it’s only about $250 it’ll save you money by using the right parts in the long run.

I mean same could be said about the gtr. But Lexus is just a Toyota, Audi is just a VW, Cadillac is just GM and so on. Just get what you like lol.

I'm getting racebox soon, and already have HX, CBE and LDP mounted.
I run on 94 Octane
You only need flex fuel and low pressure if you plan on running any sort of e blend. I Tun e30 so that’s why. If you plan on running anything higher than e30 then you need the high pressure fp as well

Im looking into either a 340i cus rhe b58 and zf combination. But i also love the vr30TT and personally love the looks of the Q. I only need a good 400-450whp as i dont needa be the fastest car, just wanna play around with some v8s and other faster cars. Also would make it more track inspired rather than straight line monster. What are the communities thoughts ?
Personally big fan of the vr platform however I think the b58 is more reliable. You can expect about the same power so it really comes down to looks and budget.

Just copped a 2019 silversport. I purchased 4 yr warranty. Mods I have done so far carbon fiber m mirrors, carbon fiber spoiler and trunk trim and Helmholtz v2 exhaust. Would you choose jb4 or Ecutek tune ? I do not want to damage turbos/engine or void warranty.
If you want an easy removal I would recommend just getting the jb4. Now I never had one but I know a buddy of mine that does and you can take that bad boy off whenever you take it to the dealer. The one thing I would highly recommend is getting an AMS heat exchanger. It doesn’t void warranty and it prevents heat soaking for those hot days. 100% best mod

All tunes on the vr30 go thru ecutek I believe. They all use that platform.

Can you blend your own 100+ octane gas? Buy 93 and put it in 5gal jugs, then mix in an octane booster to turn the 93 into 100. I know race c100 is expensive, but upping octane yourself should be doable. Find the octane booster that you like or fits your needs and figure out the ratio needed to get to your target value. Yes, all of your gas will go into 5gal cans before it goes into your car, so planning ahead is necessary.
@@K03sport i have a vp right up the street but its pricey, if ima mix anything itll but m1 /water meth inj. i wanna be able to just get fuel at a pump not adding or mixing anything in the tank.
@@sr20boostjunkie...neat. Here in the upper mid-west, e85 (or whatever the blend is) is available at every station. It might be good stuff for power, but you fill up at 1.5x the rate of gasoline (e10).

I averaged around 20mpg. Obviously it depends on how you drive it
Does the tune app come with those tune when you buy it? For example on bmw with Mhd there’s the off the self tunes? Or do you buy the tunes after buying the app and all that
Racebox offers OTS tunes but mine was a custom tune so I had to do logs and sent my files and reflash so it takes longer but it’s more worth it.
@@josewraps around how much did that cost? Right now I’m looking at a 3.0t q50 or a bmw 340/335. I like bmw because the easy tuning and modding. But I would prefer the q50 just confused with how to tune it
@@qwizz446 honestly the process is not hard. If you are local to them they can do dyno tune but if you are doing remote tuning they help you they ought the process

Proper mods don't damage cars especially installed by Racebox.

I think it’s like 3 or 4. I don’t remember. I’ll be doing the full process again here pretty soon. Going to be picking up a q60 to build for the channel. Stay tuned for that.

i have redsport, bone stock and runs well dont really need do anything, accept front n rear sway bars, strut bars and a tune..left suspension stock. i like choice of having normal mode so its soft and cruisy..especially if family in car. only thing been modding are the non mechanical stuff. lights n accessories etc @@chrischavez722

Well if you want a vr30/ twin turbo 3.0 it’ll have to be 2016+ they also did a facelift in 2018+ so if you want the led tail lights and slightly better infotainment system go with 2018+ but mine is a 2017 with a 2018 redsport front bumper so it looks newer and more aggressive

The only one better than stock is the AMS intakes however if you want to keep the stock intakes you can get the bms high blow inlets and it’s just as good
boosted6 makes some 3" intakes, sounds amazing, and kills anything else performance wise, yes better than stock and AMS

@@jz1607 Simple physics, when you add power to your car to go faster, it needs bigger brakes so it negate that power and stop faster.
@@ndenkha That's true but the car is already fast and you can go fast and faster without any mods.
You may need to upgrade the brakes if you go racing. If you only do daily drivings but you always like to have that extra power, you can still keep the OEM which I find good.
Don't forget that barely any of us really go fast on streets, but car enthusiasm forces us to mod our cars anyway

Hubcentric spacers are safe. I would recommend not stacking spacers tho
