The biggest thing and most important thing that you said that 90% of the world does not know is putting a lighter wheel on a vehicle increases performance big time. You're totally taking stress off the drive shaft and it handles and stops faster.. people when you change your OEM wheel never get a heavier wheel. Most people get wheels for the looks and they don't think about the weight. Find out how much your OEM wheels weigh and buy a wheel that you know is lighter.

Meh engineering explained did a video on that. Not a huge difference. Yes it is good to reduce unsprung mass but it can be expe sive getting light forged wheels. It's not a massive difference like adding a turbo or 4pot brakes to a stick car.

The biggest advantage of lightweight wheels is not acceleration but reducing unsprung weight for better ride and handling. If you're after better acceleration you'd be better off with smaller wheels.

A year ago I was about to buy a q50 red sport but then I got introduced to the Cadillac CT6-V and I will be getting it fully loaded all black with the carbon fiber and beautiful black rims it’s a 4.7 L v8 engine with twin turbos omg I can’t wait till it gets delivered and I will start my RUclips Channel once I get it. I currently drive a 2017 Toyota Camry XSE and this is my first sort of supercar I guess and I’m just so blessed to be getting such a unicorn. It’s crazy how people don’t appreciate the CT6-V

i have to chime in and also praise Megan..I took a shot with upgrading the front and rear sway bars on my 08 Lexus IS and the 2 setting adjustable Megan swaybars were affordable and side by side identical to f sport bars

So you're telling me if I get the 300 hp version and just add a JB4 plus intakes I can make close to 500 hp? Does it matter if its AWD or RWD with the JB4? Also is it safe to daily drive it running that much boost with the JB4 or did you just turn up the boost on track days to hit the 12 sec mark? Love these vids! Keep em coming my man
yes to about everything yes depending on mods and boost setting 500 crank is possible. yes a consistent low mid to low 12 sec car
I heard if you want to make it reliable 400+ you need tranny swap. These guys are well known for this. www.levelten.com/product_p/infin-g1800-re7.htm
Basically the saying goes. If you plan to mod your Q then save your money and get the 300hp. If you don't plan to mod and just want decent power from the factory then get the RS (400hp). Similar to old Skyline GTRs, Nissan left so much on the table with these Qs.
@@mitube4u they left so much on the table so that tuners would bring more. That's what keeps the aftermarket in good shape. A 500 hp GT-R engined Q50S would be too expensive for owners and factory. Enjoy the modding adventure.
@@genkideguire Yeah I meant that as a good thing. I have an G37 and there's only so much you can do on the VQ's vs these new VR engines.
I'm noticing that a lot of Q50 owners are doing 255/40/19 instead of the 245. Is there a reason for that? Does it handle better that way?
Wider is generally better for grip. But go too wide the ride will actually get bumpier and sacrifice wet weather grip
@@rpgfeatures793 I recently found out that getting a wider tire only benefits if you get a wider rim. Wider tires on stock rims decreases grip

My question is why/why do you think there are so many people that hate the infiniti brand? On many, many car youtubers channels that do car reviews when it comes to reviewing the Infiniti vehicles almost all the people's comments are negative and go out of their way to bash this manufacturer. I have my 2019 Q50S 3.0T and its a unbelievably great car to me. I cant wait to drive it each day. I dont understand why and how people would call these cars junk and thrash.

@@GettingthruLife Stangmode was last running 11 flat. BIM will need to jump again if he wants a chance. Also the 500 mark is for crank whereas stangmode is closer to that number in RWHP.
@@spartin268 I'd like to see them race again anyways even though the Q50 is a liitle down on power. Of course boosted is going to jump the start though one of his last vids or so he tamed down the the J.J. Da Boss jump.
It's the premium brand of nissan yet its barely more polished than kia cars. Eg infotainment is like 7 years old and super laggy, steering feel is a mess on the DAP version..

Low profile tires may be less likely to blow out, but they make it a lot easier to damage a rim.
Which tires are you running? I have the stock run-flats and need to replace them pretty soon but definitely won't be going with these pieces of garbage again. I know the Michelins are a great choice but some have gone with Conti's and been really happy with those too. I live in the snow belt so want a decent A/S tire with good summer performance. No reason to go full snow's with AWD. I'm also curious how big of a difference it makes in the ride going with a regular tire. Thanks for the great content.
I have Barum bravaris ultra high performance summer Tire. It's a whole lot better than no stock run Flats.
I drove with the tires in the snow I didn't have any issues. Because of the all wheel drive system.
I used to sell and install tires the Continentals were really good but michelins are also exceptionally good

I watched your video on warranty voiding. You had answered that downpipes would void...but it looks like on your car you’re past that point since now tuned.
It will be my wife’s car and she has no problem finding the gas pedal’s full range of motion...
So I definitely want to cool...heat exchanger etc.
You didn’t mention dump valves. I had 2000 S4 with recirculating system. I watched Q50 video saying Infiniti engineered turbos to fail at some point in the future by not managing back pressure when come off the gas after accelerating, and to add dump valves to protect turbos from the back pressure....yet a different video saying ECU would be confused because it doesn’t know where that air went....Thoughts?
Lastly...JB4...if remove to go to dealer...would you bother removing fuel wire clips also?
