    550 whp is a VERY conservative mark to build the motor. So far, at this point, we’re seeing 710 whp and high 500s in torque on stock block. Nailed it with saying the limits are still being researched.
    Nonetheless, it’s awesome to see a great breakdown like this for potential buyers or people looking to learn about the platform. Great video!

      Incorrect. Torque is what breaks things, not horsepower. Around 550-590 WHEEL TORQUE is where things go bye bye and leave the motor.
      You can tune the ECU where the torque is managed and turbos are made to produce less torque to not break things. If you’re planning to make over 600wheel torque or hp, time to build your motor. 😄

    for anyone starting out and wanting to mod their Q50. if you get a catback, keep in mind it wont sound as good as it should unless you get LDP. If you dont want to get LDP go with a muffler delete or axel back as it will make the car sound way better than a catback with no LDP at a fraction of the cost

    ( Comment using the translator )Your method of calculation is correct in case that someone wanted to modify it to the first level and kept it like that for a few months, then moved to the next level and so on... But if he wants to tune it directly to the middle or higher level, the cost will be lower than what you mentioned, because you calculated some parts several times, such as the brakes, fuel pump, injection system, remaping ... You take the total costs of the level and then add to it the costs of the second level, which contains parts that are in the first level. You had to remove the price of the repeating part from the first level account total and then add the price of the same part in the second level...Because the owner may move from factory state directly to the third level and he does not have to go through the first or second level, so the cost will be much lower ... Thanks from Algeria 🇩🇿

      The first mod they should have said was Heat Exchanger. These cars are VERY prone to heat-soak, and the factory heat exchanger is tiny for both the redsport and non-redaoort models. It only holds 8oz of coolant, and even with the secondary coolant pump it's just not enough to adequately cool the turbos. A larger heat exchanger is an absolute must before you do anything else.

    • @officialtrinity6k361

      Adding downpipes will make the car sound a lot better and louder. and add hp. But without a tune you can hurt the engine and get a check engine light. Also without a tune you won’t be getting the maximum performance from the exhaust and downpipes. So I would definitely recommend getting a tune after you put downpipes on. • @aeroman5239
      @aeroman5239 2 года назад

      Running anything over E30 on the stock injectors, HPFP, and LPFP is asking for trouble, as they are not designed for the low lubricity of Ethanol. You'll likely find yourself with a stuck open injector (worse case), which can flood a cylinder and hydro-lock the motor. If you want to run E85, get the DW injectors, Spool HPFP (2 flow rate sizes) and an AMS LPFP, along with a FF kit and in-line fuel filter.
