The safest concentration of the isopropyl alcohol that does not damage the cars clear coat is 15% . So approximately 1/2 to that of what is being used here. With 15% alcohol it would take slightly longer to defrost
Exactly plus most of it's diluted to some degree or another with water anyways you could even buy little alcohol bottles with a sprayer on it not the cheapest option but an option
whhhhhhhhhat volkaaaaaaaaaaa..... hell yeah if im rich i have to stick my faace out get some alwsome driving skilks a if i get pulled over i say im not druck my windshiled is
You do realize that simply spraying water on the window would thaw the frost, right? And if you are using the alcohol because it has a lower freezing point, why not just use rubbing alcohol without adding extra water to dilute it? This isn’t a hack bro, you just think you are the “first” person to realize that warm water will melt cold ice.
Before any paint concerns arise...spray windshield only, not the body

Short and sweet thank you
I'm definitely going to use this technique, thanks for posting it
Windshield wiper fluid would have cleaned that. I’d like to see it on some thicker ice and colder looking weather.
Alcohol is the de-icing ingredient in windshield wiper fluid.
No vinegar?
Ok add rubbing alcohol to car supplies
Tried this today but it was minus 6 wasnt as easy as this to come off but worked ok i suppose.
Can. U use 91 percent?
Dilute it but yeah. Dilute it 50/50. Amazing windshield cleaner too
I just use alcohol...no need to dilute it.

What! Come on it's practically summer outside, it would be a way easier to warm up your car for 3 mintues.
can anybody tell me why do we add the water
Same reason we dilute soap solutions
Because cowards are scaredy cats
Will that mean the car is drink driving? 🤔
As long as you spray it only on the outside your car will be perfectly sober.
White ppl have the most lame jokes on earth
Im gonna crack open a beer and pour it all over the windshield

Lol u sound mad bro
Probably because the alcohol on its own is flammable
My problem with the water portion of the mixture is that when I begin to drive, that water freezes up again, re-coating the windshield with ice.
@@paulb111 it won’t re-freeze if you turn your defroster on
