Thanks. FYI: I also made this solution, and applied it to my car windows the night before the freezer weather was to come, and the windows were clear of snow and ice. I was amazed. Therefore, I continued applying it each night, and got the same results...No ice or snow on windows when I went outside the next morning. It truly works people. Thanks again for sharing the video.

I live in an area that doesn't get much frost. My windshield was frozen over a few mornings ago and I remembered that I made your recipe a few years ago. Additional tip I would give is to not use a spay bottle as after some time you get tired of the small area and pressing the leaver. There are bottle that you can hand pump to build pressure. After that you can spray the whole windshield in one go.

Next time, could you do a half-n-half to show the difference, scraping to show the depth of the ice and snow this is removing... Otherwise it just looks like either a miracle, or soft snow being pushed away, like jam on ceramic and a cloth with spray made to look like a miracle when it's not close. Also, can address the issues of "drying" wiper blades and messing with seals. lastly *I promise*... Maybe compare the cost of your concoction and retail de-icer. (One last thing, some people will worry about spraying a mixture which includes a highly flammable liquid next to their engine bay) ta, Dave

If you change your wiper blades after winter is over and into Spring anyway who cares about the alcohol effects on rubber wipers. just wipe off seals around the window with water or run your car through a car wash frequently.

Yes, you can pour rubbing alcohol in your windshield washer reserve tank. I do this, when winter weather rears it's ugly head. Once winter passes and spring sets in, just use regular windshield washer fluid, you'll be fine. Only use this for the front window of your car, while letting the car warm up and run. Once warmed up, then while driving your defroster will thaw out your side windows, etc.

Isopropyl alcohol is NOT recommended for freshly painted finishes. You should never use isopropyl alcohol at full strength or it could permanently cause damage to your vehicle's paint. Isopropyl alcohol, when diluted accordingly, can also be used to prep surfaces for paint, glass or wheel coatings.

You don't need to wear protective gloves when handling rubbing alcohol. It's harmless to the skin (that's why it's called "rubbing alcohol). In fact I use it as a cheap aftershave and for disinfecting wounds.

Let me watch you de ice a car like mine this morning the ICE was thick and stuck to the glass all around my car. I bet this will only work like your demo on Freshly Dropped Snow Flurries!!

Why not use a waterproof car cover over your car if its outside? It may really save you from scraping and other issues. You just remove it after the storm and you have a nice clean car under that cover
