Nice test! But that was on glass. I wonder how it would do on plastic. Specifically a motorcycle helmet visor. I know that you can't use Rain-X on plastic as it damages the plastic. If I remember correctly, Fog-X is the same. The anto fog products for motorcycles are not as effective as Fog and Rain X. I used to use both not knowing that you are not suppose to. It says it right on the bottle of Rain-X. Dhaaa! I don't see toothpaste hurting the visor soI might try it.

If anyone are willing to try alternative, I suggest to use WD-40 specificalist fast drying contact cleaner( for circuit board and switches). I find that the result was quit satisfied, no thin fog film form on interior windscreen , which other anti-fog product did.😂
The WD40 evaporates quickly once you spray it and form a temporary protective “steam” layer for hours. Thus, it forced moisture to vaporise.
The product is also a degrease cleaner. Hit one bird with two stone.😮
I usually spray it when I am ready to go.😊

Very stupid idea. Can prove dangerous as well.
Toothpaste contain abrasive agents and it will micro scratch the glass. After a few applications the scratches will affect visibility.
The commercial, made for purpose anti fog spray has the active agent but is free from the abrasive.
