Nice wagon. I’ve got the 24 valve turbo diesel version. Had it for 15 years. The wagon has done 400k miles and going well. Best improvement I made was a marks part time kit. Converts it to 2wd/4WD. Thanks.
Got a 05 Ford Escape Hybrid. Fwd. I aspire to owning a Land Cruiser. Here in Indiana we have state parks. No places much to do "overlanding". This is how you go to work?!?!?!
There are some great wheeling places back east and down south, or midwest if you prefer that. Part of the fun is taking the trips to get to those locations! Hope you get a good Land Cruiser sometime. Keep an eye out and don’t be afraid to get an older one that might need some work. Yes, this was a commute home from my weekly place of work as I recall. Hoping to get out there and do a lot more trips on my between work commutes as summer rolls on!
No idea how I missed this comment for so long. Sorry about that. I've been planning to give a video of this truck's story. I'll try to make that a priority now. It won't be a "build" video per se, but just the story of this truck's history. Until then: It's a 2000, I bought in 2008 for $15K. It had 80K miles then, 223K now. It was the only Cruiser that came up in the area for sale where I was living in Alabama and in search of a Cruiser at the time. I'd had two FJ40's prior to that. I'd pick a newer year in much cleaner condition if I was in the market now. Stay tuned!
I do have minor rubbing. And I ran it this way with stock gears for about 7 years. I recently upgraded to 4.88 gears and ARB Air Lockers. Much better now, but I wouldn't hesitate to lift it and run these tires until you can afford the regear. It cost me about $4,000 to regear and lock it.
I have had them on year round on a couple of occasions, but in general I take them off in the summer. Recently I learned that they are no longer available!! So until something of a similar compound of the same size I will be preserving the life of these as long as I can!
Found your channel in searching 100 series Land Cruisers. Great video, look forward to seeing more!
Thanks so much! Went on a pretty fun little snow wheeling outing just today as well! Working on the edit now, come back and check it out!

When are ya doing 2022 snow camping???
OMG the D light works!!!!
That was only after it being out for like 8 years, and I stole the L light bulb while I had the instrument cluster apart! LOL

Do you have a list of your Land Cruiser 100 set up anywhere? Year miles what you pay for it what you’ve done to it etc? Why did you pick that year?

At 210k+ miles, do you still have stock torsion bars? And did you achieve the front end lift just by torquing them?
No sir, I installed the Old Man Emu Heavy suspension about 8 years ago. Comes with beefier T bars.
Nice video my friend. I love that 100. What size tires and lift do you have ?
Thanks! I've got a standard Old Man Emu 2.5-3" Heavy lift with 315/75/16 tires.
@@AdventureTEQ ooo very nice. I'm planing to do the same to my 100. Do you have any robbing problem? Do you have to any re-gearing?

Bro! Fuzz out your plate numbers! Great vid
Thanks a lot!
Do you keep these Geolandar ice terrains on year-round?

Wait your "D" light works!!!
Yep. I robbed the L light the last time I had it all apart! 😆
