The crossover we all wanted but didn’t deserve. Keeping the dreams alive guys. Edit: OOF, on the rewatch I noticed that toyota platform bend. That is not a secure spot to sleep haha.
Hey Chris. Hoping all is well... as you can see from the comments, you have lots of people in your corner, wishing you well and concerned for your well-being.
Love, as always. I envy the two of you. Nice of Kevin to feed you a decent meal out in the wilderness Chris. 😏 As far as the "dork" snow scene..... love that you are one. 👍
Chris, I am so sorry to hear about your Mom. My heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with you. You’ve been such an inspiration to so many people, including me and I know she is extremely proud of you. I LoVe ya man 🙏🏽
You all need to watch Itchy Boots for an adventurous blogger. A 35 year old Dutch girl who is travelling the world by a little motorbike. Currently travelling thru Baja on the way to the USA on route to Alaska.THATS ADVENTURE.
Being a Defender owner myself but having driven a LC Tropy for many months in Australia this episode is about as good as it gets. Two wonderful classics on one screen - a joy to watch. Thanks for sharing 👍
Watching you and Kevin and these old rigs was way more fun to me than watching the newer rigs. I can’t get away from my 1977 CJ5 as it just always brings back my childhood. It gives me such pleasure to take it out into the woods and explore. You two should go on a longer adventure together.
just love that old truck. the sound of the diesel and it just has personality. what ever you do with the next owner has a truck you sure don't have to worry about where you park and door dings. keep up the good videos
Hope everything is fine with you Chris. I keep checking youtube every now and then for your latest video. Hope to see you soon with another great one. Adventure is a foot!!
So nice to see you back out on the trail. As much as I like the solo stuff it was nice to see the both of you out. And the classic trucks!! That was amazing. Great episode
We’re thinking about you and your family. Geeking out with you is our selfish pleasure, but family comes first. Don’t worry about us…we’ll be here for you when you’re ready to post again.🙏🏼🌈
Kevin cooks like I imagine I cook while camping, Chris cooks like I actually cook. And Chris is the most real guy on RUclips. He uses that folding toilet seat for everything. No overpriced folding titanium swag for Chris (and I'm not saying that's what Kevin is using btw).
Love your work. Can't wait till you get Orangey back. Always cool when you come to my home state. Then you go with Lifestyle to some caves I am very familiar with. Hope I see you out there. Watch for our blue Jeep.
My grandfather lived in Vernal UT. I would spend the summers at his home. I've spent 3-4 weeks at a time backpacking in the Uintah's. I truly love them.
Chris: Hope everything's OK on the home front back east. Was expecting another video from you by now (5/19/22). No pressure. We'll see you when you get back.
@@TheCaseyCunningham Could be that, could also just be boring "migrating back to Orangey" stuff that he's having to work out. I'm hoping for Orangy stuff.
Hope everyone is doing well back east, glad you’re back on the trails and it always brilliant when you collaborate with Lifestyle Overland the pair of you usually get up to something unexpected. And it wasn’t just Shannon that was shocked when you turned down extra Cheese 🧀😂
Love seeing you both on the same adventure!!! That Toyota Troopy?? Looks great, Kevin and Chris too bad you have to part with that Defender, it's been fun watching you exploring with that classic.
Your Land Rover experience reminds me a lot of my old ADV motorcycle trips. Very minimalist. Two soft waterproof saddlebags and a small drybag on a rear fender rack. A front toolbag over the headlight and a small tank bag to hold my camera stuff. Yamaha WR250R dualsport... A small but very capable bike. Actually raced in a Hare Scramble after stripping it down once and did not come in last!
Chris tries out the European rear fog light at 4:36. Leaves it on all week! During editing he discovers the light is on the wrong side of the vehicle for America. Zero F’s given! Never stop exploring!
I drove up Uintah canyon today and was wondering who had pulled those deadfalls out of the road. Pretty sure I saw you passing through Roosevelt a few weeks ago now that I think about it. And Pole Creek Sink is amazing.
Looks like an abandoned vehicle?! Hush your mouth! I have an long standing, unrequited love for both LRs and LCs but REALLY like that diesel truck format LV of yours.
Great video as always.. I suggest that you invest in a small rechargeable chainsaw. It would make easy work of those down trees that you have to keep trying to strap and pull out of the way.
I ran the front licence plate on Kevin's Toyota when I saw that it was from New South Wales (which is the state in Australia with Sydney and the Harbour Bridge etc), to see what vehicle they were from originally but I found that number-letter combination didn't exist and had never been issued. Now I'm even more curious.
They both use LUMIX cameras… Chris uses a LUMIX S5 and Kevin uses both a LUMIX GH5 & GH6. All three cameras have a built-in feature called Live Cropping which allows you to set a starting point and ending point for the shot. Also, you can crop the frame then pan it in post which will give you a similar look to Live Cropping. Either option will give you a pan that looks like someone else was filming the shot.
Chris, what are you running to power your fridge in the Rubi, a power station or batteries? I totally forgot. I know you have rigid solar panels, but just wondering what you are charging. Thanks.
Chris - Praying all is ok, and if not, that God will provide the strength to get you through this valley. God bless!
Whoohoo! What an awesome time, Chris! Can't wait to do it again... 🙌
Love the LC! Wish the original engine was in it. Wish they sold those troopers in USA
Yay!
The crossover we all wanted but didn’t deserve. Keeping the dreams alive guys.
Edit: OOF, on the rewatch I noticed that toyota platform bend. That is not a secure spot to sleep haha.
Kevin, have you heard any thing about Chris, recently?
Hoping all is well with him and his.
Chris, we hope everything is okay. We miss you, Shannon and Finnegan. Take care and see you back soon hopefully.
Chris I’m so sorry to hear about your Mom. My thoughts and prayers go out to your family from mine.
What happened?
Hey Chris. Hoping all is well... as you can see from the comments, you have lots of people in your corner, wishing you well and concerned for your well-being.
Great Collab, subscribed to Lifestyle Overland!!!
They’re an amazing family and channel!
Great to see the NSW Australia number plater on the Troopy. Nice surprise.
Well done on again on a great vid. Ty

Chris, how in God's world do you not have 200K subs already. The best content around.
Agreed!!
Not adventurous enough. Too much " going back to base camp" stuff.

I loved the paper towel pot holder.
I think it was a TP roll

Wow what a sweet Toyota Land Cruiser very nice
Hands down… one of the best episodes. Something about the land rovers. I’m a Jeep guy… but love this episode
Utah mountains, flank steak, good company and a little adventure. Great stuff!
My goodness I loved every bit of this. Old Rover Old Yota what a blast to watch.
Wow, Coolest combo of unique rigs on any overlanding channel!
Holly shit did I here oringe is alive …that’s awesome news man I miss the old jeep

Congrats on 70k subscribers . Good the family has been checked on . Back on the Road ⭐️

Great video thank you! Glad to hear Orangy will be back soon!
Welcome back, happy to travel with you again. Can’t wait to get back in orange again. Happy everyone back home. Your friend in Pennsylvania. Bob
Hello to Kevin. I watch Lifestyle as well. Beautiful spots you both take us to. Thanks.
YES! The return of Orangee in near! I love how you built out Orangee and I've missed seeing her.
So nice to see you back out on the trail. As much as I like the solo stuff it was nice to see the both of you out. And the classic trucks!! That was amazing. Great episode
We love you Chris keep pushing forward 🚜🚜

Well this was fun, Chris! Thanks for bringing Kevin along. Awesome exploring! 🥾🥾😎
awesome video. it was great seeing those two vehicles out in the wild
Mad respect bro your doing what you love in life which is only about 10 percent of the world's population do everyday Rock on!
Praying all is well with you my friend. 3weeks is a long time without Chris…
@@jcoats5529 it’s worked for me
Nice to here your getting you Jeep back! That land cruiser is sweet. I had 3 two fj40. One wagon they are awesome.
Damn, awesome to see these classics still crawling the trails.
Quite a treat to see you and Kevin on an adventure together.

Kevin and his family are awesome, was cool to see you two hook up
Good to see you back. Chris, looks like the spare tire has some tread on it. Time to switch it out with the left front. Safe travels Perry
It's so cool to watch 2 classic off roaders in the wood. Great video as always!
Two amazing rigs. Definitely favor restoring an older rig then buying new. Just a personal preference. Stay safe have fun!🏜️
Hello Chris we were wondering if you are alright?? Concerned. Haven't seen any more videos sure hope U all are safe.🙂
Finally some good wheelin!
My grandfather lived in Vernal UT. I would spend the summers at his home. I've spent 3-4 weeks at a time backpacking in the Uintah's. I truly love them.

Did he quit?? Odd...
@@harveyhagar I suspect his absence is being caused by a family emergency.

Yeah I can’t wait for the jeep to get back in action
I am a FJ40 guy and loved the Vintage get together run you guys did! Hope all is well with family back East Chris. Tom
Nice to have company on your adventures!
Thank you Chris I enjoyed it 😎👍

Nice camp chair there at the steak toco dinner you had there Chris.
Beautiful rigs
I was hoping you meet up with Kevin and take Defender PU out with Kev’s troopy. Wish granted. Thanks!
That's my backyard country. Spend lots of time in the Uintas.
Still waiting for Orangie.

Hey Chris!? You ok? Been a while and not heard anything from you, or did I miss something? Stay safe and best wishes to you, Shannon and your family.
Great video. Welcome back to Utah🤙🏻
I know I am behind and that you have orangy already and have been fixing her up. But I am going to miss your truck. Wish I could find one. Lol

Great fun to see some of my favorites collaborating! great video. I have a question though. I thought you had BOUGHT the rover. You didn't?
Is everything ok with chris and family? Last i heard all was well back east
I'm wondering the same thing. It's like he just vanished.
Where is Chris? Hope all is well.
Everything's okay? No update in your instagram and website
How about some "Shorts" when you're missing in action so we know what's up?
welcome back! what do you think of starlink for internet service?
You should carry a small battery powered chainsaw. Super convenient, and no gas or oil to spill in the vehicle!
No video this week? Hope all is ok.

🤔🤨 why couldn't the Ford pull the tree? Hmmmm. Oldies but goodies! I meant the LC and LR
Chris what are the newest and best options for emergency gps notification units? Thanks

Is the weird wear on that driver's tire potentially a Ball Joint?
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Aw,I was just starting to dig the truck, you gonna get rid of it?pass it on to your son

I believe he has a dual battery setup in the Jeep.
That Land Rover is bad azz.
Where's Chris?????
Love that grate for the propane fire pit. Would you happen to have a link since I'm too lazy to search. Thanks
Scrambling around rocks and cliffs, what's your contingency plan for an encounter with a big cat or bear?
Did Chris quit??
Hey! Where is a orange? Will we see him? Or never ever?
