Is the likes of Toei scared of another Dragon Ball GT happening? They shouldn't be! Give Toyotaro a chance to shine. Also be sure to like this video and share, we need Toriyama's pupil to know he's doing great thus far with Moro.
Masako I like them to do the first 2 - 3 episodes that show things that happen after Broly and then begin the Moro so we can get some slice of life stuff I really enjoy those episodes.
It's not really the same as a dragon ball. Dragon balls manga was on a weekly schedual as opposed to supers monthly one so adapting into a weekly anime series while the material is still on going would casue some issues
@The Notorious Punk Fanboy writers write fanfiction, and yes, fanfiction getting so close to the official source material is a problem. Dragonball AF is a problem.
Toyotaro is a big fan just like us and is simply working hard to live up to our INCREDIBLY HIGH EXPECTATIONS. I'm always cheering for our boy Toyo, and it's been a wild ride watching him grow and become better every chapter. I'm very proud of him.
exo tak not at all, the sheer amount of pages he cranks out a month actually isn’t that different from what Toriyama himself published. (15-17 a week compared to 44-47 a month)
Amplify Magic the thing is their are far better artists who’d be willing to work on the dragon ball super manga, and looking at his universal survival arc drawings you can see a lot of inconsistencies with how he draws the bodies of his characters.
*Listens to the points talking about how the manga has Marvel-seeming moments.* *Thinks back to the Android saga and all the Terminator vibes.* *MasakoX mentions the Terminator references during the Android saga.* My man.
@NovaPrime Productions Worst written arc? Wtf? Are we reading the same manga???? This arc is kinda awesome. The level of delight of that fans have expressed kinda proves it.
@NovaPrime Productions you are right, the story made it seem Buu was going to matter, but what we got was 2-3 hits against Moro and the revelation that dai-kaioshin is alive then goes back to sleep. Completely eclipsed by merus' (?) secret, U7 versions of U6 fighters , Vegeta's training, team dragon ball actually fighting for the first time since Z . And Buu is still sleeping...
@NovaPrime Productions In my opinion, Moro arc is one of the best so far. 1) Goku Black Saga 2) Cell Saga 3) Freeza Saga 4) Moro Arc in terms of worst, I'd say King Piccolo saga and Buu Saga
Here's what I think happened Toriyama: >Watches super. "Wow. Can't let that happen again." >Takes his time writing more detailed notes to make sure Super isn't a garbage fire >P r o c r a s t i n a t i o n
I don't think it makes any sense to think Toei isn't making "Super 2" because this new arc is being made by Toyotaro. Maybe they learned from their Super mistakes and are waiting for the manga to at least finish one arc before making the anime adaptation? Can't we just wait until the arc is done?
@@ShadowWolfRising According to the Wiki, it started in Chapter 42 and the next chapter is in Chapter 57. Goku and Vegeta aren't back on Earth yet and the battle's not gotten too intense just yet so there might be a bit more than we initially expect in the way of chapters but we've that's a good thing in my mind. If I had to guess... Chapter 58 is when Goku might wind up back on Earth but I can't properly answer for Vegeta. Though I may be wrong and Goku might arrive back at Earth near the conclusion of chapter 57 and Vegeta may arrive in 58. It's all dependent on pacing and how they handle the plot. It certainly seems like they might draw it out to give the other characters much more of a chance to shine but it's somewhat up in the air right now.
Super's mistake in not waiting for the manga??? Super's manga before moro is an adaptation of the anime not the other way around. The real mistake is letting a fanboy work on an official product.
Even though it was obvious, for some reason I never put together that if the Moro arc was animated it would probably be in the style of the new Broly movie. Just thinking about it has me craving for Super's return even more...
That style of Animation is long, hard, and expensive. There's likely 5ish (or more) episodes worth of frames crammed in to 2 hrs. Which is one of the reasons why it's so fluent.
More mangakas should take on understudies when they hit their 40s or 50s so thst they can retire from a grueling schedule early and the understudy can take over the work with very little jarring to the canon and the character archetype of the people we have grown to know and love. Tell the understudy who will soon take over, where you want the story to go, how you want it to end, give them important plots and key things that you’d like to see, and watch how it gets executed after 5-15years of them learning from you. Imagine a 60 yr old oda giving a 30 yr old understudy the reigns so one piece could continue for longer and grow more, same with dbz. Shows like doctor who have done it for decades. Mangas could do it too.
This system sounds great. I wish western comics would do something like this, rather then just slotting in whoever the editors feel are hot at the moment.
I like the idea of other creators being given a shot. As much as I love Toriyama, there's ideas and themes he never explored that maybe new writers might be interested in?
The idea is that Toyotaro does have his trust with designs, so he should let him fully display his overall skill and what he has learnt under his tutelage.
I like that Toyotaro's designs have that Persian inspired clothing of Toriyama, but he knows how to come up with original (for the franchise) designs. Hit in any other series is generic. But coming to DB is a breath of fresh air with his cyberpunk looking clothing. Same comes with Frost, and the others
has deision what dieson maskko x don't you know he traces that not your own dieosn that using some oen eisse that is not skill at all any one can do that
To me, the problem with Toyotaro is that he has NO impact in his drawings, the punches feel weak, and when an attack connects, the one receiving the attack just goes flying or only half their lower body is seen on the panel as they get blasted off. His choreography is just bad and cannot be compared to Toriyama's brutal and amazing fights, like Vegeta going all out against Recoom, you can feel the raw power, with Toyotaro though, I feel like yawning.
Toyotaro spends too much time on facial expressions and squeezes many images into one page. If he would cut some corner, he could give fighting scenes the needed impact.
Actually this is my problem too. If you go and read the dragon ball heroes: dark demon saga manga, you'll see how lack luster his art is. While it is good, it doesn't have artistic flair. Which is important to making memorable scenes. The plot of the DBH manga may be a mess, and the art isn't as "on model" as toyotaro. But the artist brings extremely fun shots through interesting impact frames, great pose work and solid, uncrowded paneling. His drawings push Dragon balls artistic style to high notes without breaking It. In my mind toyotaro isn't really doing any of that.
@@123hattan I wish toyotaro was a little off model cause in the z manga toriyama's art and characters where off model but to me it gave it a lot more flair to it especially the scenes where they get hit in the back or stomach or when they get punched then get sent flying it's cool or maybe I shouldn't want this cause one side of me wants toyotaro to be his own person/artist I dont know anymore
Toyataro already shown his good idea with his Dragonball AF stuff. He knows how to improve building the dragon world. I'd say let him go unchained once for a mini arc!
Lol no, AF is literally the worst piece of cancerous trash to ever exist in the fandom. That's exactly the reason he's shown he doesn't know how to improve the DB world or doesn't know how to write DB. AF is literally the reason he doesn't deserve a chance.
@@mastertucker AF is old and cringy old stuff can be forgiven... and even as stupid as AF is, it's still crazy and over the top. And it's FUN. Fun is the most important thing. Honestly I think Toyotaro needs a chance. He's doing stuff that's new and interesting while also taking care for the characters
ScienceMagic Studios™ exactly. His art style is amazing. Some times you can see some rushed panels in the past but recently in this arc he’s been on fire.
@@Amplifymagic you remember both DB & Z had shots that were literally supposed to be just like manga, all the off model stuff in super (anime) bugs me, only cuz im an artist, a traditional artist, and the anime's version of the characters look cheap, the color palette is kinda blehhh, weird looking smirk
im willing to be patient and wait for toyotaro and toriyama to complete a well rounded arc before toei makes it into a show so there are no plot holes or filler that turns into plot holes
Everybody but torama Sensei: we will NOT HAVE A NOTHER GT INCIDENT! internet:we are waching you ever move (secretly wants a slip up so they can Rant for the next 10 years)
Tbh the Moro arc feels like a return more to its DBZ roots, and for once it feels like many of the characters are getting the respect they should've earned ages ago. Each chapter feels like it's been progressively getting better, and I'm actually looking forward to each month's chapter because it's such a good return to form. Anime version of this, if following Toyotaro's work, would be straight up fire. Especially the moments with Gohan and Piccolo.
I like Toyble’s AF and the Moro arc. I feel like he’s the closest thing to Toriyama and that’s why he got hired for the manga. Plus he’s 41 so he’s nowhere near the age where he can slow down as a mangaka.
Piccolo He’s at the point where it would benefit him to take his own Understudy. Work together with the understudy(personably , it should be a kid , 12-15 , with talent) for 15 years , and slow down.
NovaPrime Productions buu isn’t moros enemy tho the grand supreme Kai is so that’s why buu didn’t care until they brought grand supreme Kais memories back up to the surface
Shortcomings as an artist aside, he seems to be a pretty good writer, especially within the framework of Dragon Ball. If all that's really holding them up is finalizing the story, pull the trigger already.
@NovaPrime Productions He's not Buu's arch nemesis. He's the Grand Supreme Kai's arch nemesis. Buu is a proxy for him to appear at the moment but they'll probably either extract him and have both attack him OR leave him in to keep the status quo. However, because of how it might change things, I think that they might just pull the Grand Supreme Kai out of Buu because it'd definitely surprise people, let Buu become much more interesting and developable and actually get Universe 7's Hierarchy to change, hopefully for the better.
Glad you mentioned Geekdoms video. Another quality video Masako. But seeing as this is the home of what ifs... what if Toriyama wasnt "ready" because he was waiting for Toyotaro to finish the Moro arc for 2per anime?
I was giving him a chance from the beggining and don't regret it at all. I always liked DBS manga hell a lot more than the anime and even manga ToP didn't change that a bit. And Moro arc is frankly one of my favourites in the entire series, I hope it keeps delivering till the end.
Based on what we're seeing in the Moro Saga, I think Toyotaro is up to the task. While I doubt Toyotaro will ever be as great as Toriyama was at his prime, I do agree that he does have a lot of potential and just might be ready to be passed the torch. Speaking of passing the torch, maybe Toyotaro can finally convince everybody to move this story passed the end of Z, yes I am still hoping for a series starring the next generation of Z-Fighters (Uub, Pan, Bulla, Goten, Trunks, Marron and others they may add.)
I honestly agree I have a big soft spot toyotaro I prefer the manga as he tends to have more respect for vegeta than toi sure the manga has issues but when has dragon ball ever been perfect, but I really enjoy his work aside form the t.o.p sure their were a few good bits like the beginning and some bits of the tournament, all in all I want the Moro arc to be animated really bad because it’s my favorite arc in super
beef your leing otyoarto dos nto have mreo rpelsit for vegeta he made vegeta nto lend 1 hit ont hti ni u6 arc but toei did he made veget get as kcik tyb u6 rbobt only len one mvo eon him in manga yet toei ni aniem mad evege do a lot epic fianl flah nto some weak ass pucnht oe nd it or the haf as too arc make every one evne jrien look weak no nsut no he don't do good jo wih vegeta or any oen eise
My two cents: the anime might not be out yet due to the scarcity of the material. I too, if put in Toei's shoes, would wait until the end of the arc before starting production of the anime. One single arc (still incomplete at the moment) is simply too little leeawy to deliver a great product. Is better to wait a little more than to end up with another OPM season 2
In addition to all of this, I'd also like to add that Toriyama has expressed the idea that the anime would benefit from following Toyotarou's manga as an outline. So many people overlook the significance of this remark; Toriyama expresses genuine faith and confidence in his successor in that statement to the extent that he believes an anime shown to audiences worldwide would do well to follow Toyotarou's example.
I feel like db should get a extended universe like Star Wars once had full of stories from many different writers and authors with genres and something for everyone. People love dragon ball and it’s a beloved series so if they let it expand in Multiple fashions instead of just one way then there is probably no limit to what could be done.
I'm surprised the Dragon Room hasn't just done a bunch of side stories in-between arcs. I'd like to see if something could've happened in-between the Cell and Buu arcs, or even a more in depth story of Future Trunks versus Dabura and Babidi
I'm of two minds on this. One one hand Toyotaro's handling of the Tournament of Power was especially subpar, I understand that a lot of the arc in the show was filler-esque but a ton of great moments were outright erased in the manga itself, and the fact that Roshi was able to doge Jeiren's blows for even a short period was ridiculous. Also wasn't a fan of him throwing shade on SSJ Blue Kaioken, he already threw out the transformation in favor of a perfected blue so that just felt petty. On the other hand despite the manga interpretation having a similarly poor ending there were some unique and interesting ideas explored in that variation of the Goku Black arc. And I've really enjoyed the Moro arc for the most part, especially giving the side characters a chance to be relevant again and with Vegeta doing what a lot of people hoped for training in a way that deviated from Goku's path. Also really like Moro as a concept, he's a pretty unique villain when compared to past antagonists in the Dragon Ball universe. Ultimately, I do hope the Moro story is covered when Super returns so long as it doesn't do what the manga did with the TOP and gloss over the best parts.
What they _should_ do is get Toriyama, Toyotaro, & Dragon Garow Lee together [maybe even one more manga creator...] as the Bird Studio equivalent of LucasFilm's Story Group. Also have some head writers from Toei. The Mangaka come up with the story, Toriyama adds his 2 cents, then they go & write/draw/create alternating chapters [it also gives them more time for each book]. The Toei writers get better, more fleshed out outlines & can make scripts early [hopefully the animators get more production time]. We're in a new era of Dragon Ball. The companies involved need to get with the times.
@NovaPrime Productions "ot really the only time he was taken out a fight with an arch nemesis was when gohan beat Cell. ' No, he was written out of most of the Freiza fight (forms 1-3), the last third of the Vegeta fight and most of the middle fluff of the Buu fight
mastertucker Dude what is up with your hate boner for toyo? Moro is fine but you’re being extremely critical for no reason. It’s just a simple manga lmao calm down
i think they arn't going with the manga (aside from what you said) is that they are afraid to reach the point where the manga is and the anime to rqandomly stop since toyotaro only produces one chapter per month
He really needs to not. Knowing him he'd harp way too long on it giving a huge arbitrary explanation that doesn't make sense all for something that doesn't need to be fixed anyway. In fact this fan mentality of 'go back and fix everything instead of moving forward' is exactly why Toyotaro is so trash in the first place, his writing is self indulgent.
@NovaPrime Productions It's fine to say you aren't enjoying the Moro arc, but it's flat out wrong to say it's worse than Resurrection F or the manga version of the TOP. I'd even say it's better than other arcs too.
@NovaPrime Productions What makes you say that?? Like seriously, what's your reasoning? I'm genuinely curioud why you think RoF is better than the Moro arc
@NovaPrime Productions Well I dunno. I think that is fine in itself. My problem is that in RoF, Frieza is mostly inconsequential. He still isn't strong enough to best the Saiyans, so that's pointless. And even when he gets pissed and destroys the planet, Beerus and Whis just reset it. And even besides that... I think Vegeta should have gotten the win there. Goku's ready beaten Frieza, he has nothing more to prove, but Vegeta deserves to get his W. I like the Moro Arc because everyone's participating. And Moro is a genuine threat to EVERYONE including Goku and Vegeta. Vegeta's training arc is great, it's fun to watch him push himself.
@@coolbeans3752 Been saying a long time that Launch should have her own Spin-Off, I mean why not? She is a Mysterious, Sweet, & Bad Girl. I'd love the Yamcha Spin-Off Manga so why not another Spin-Off Manga, maybe not part of the Main Storyline but hey it's something.
@@GarciaXVLegend_04 Also, if I had the budget and time I'd publish fan manga as cannon if they tied into the main plot, or to keep fans invested in the series.
I liked that he gave side characters some shine last chapter but im not fully sold and I'm waiting for next chapter to see how much shine he gives them and not just a one and done panel
I'm happy for Toriyama to step away for Toyotaro to take over. I've not read the new chapters of the manga, I've fallen a little behind, I'm still in the Goku Black arc with mine but I've seen the original stuff he's writing and it seems good. If they want Toyotaro to sort out stories for the anime, I'm fine with that.
I really hope TOEI makes some actual announcement for the anime, whether it be a new movie or TV series. After nearly two years since the end of DBS in the sub, with DBS Broly being the only canon material released in between, I feel like it's almost a matter of time before a lot of people grow apathetic towards the anime series.
@Sonic I didn't say that they had to release something now, I said they should *announce* something. DBS Broly was announced in Dec 2017, and it didn't release until Dec 2018/Jan 2019.
Personally, I’d love to see the torch actually handed down when it comes to Mr. Toryotaro. He’s giving it everything he has and is still only the copilot. That just doesn’t seem right considering how he’s literally pushing the letter as far as it will go with what he has.
Off topic, but what if planet vegeta fell under the influence of the galactic king and the galactic patrol instead of the frieza/cold force? I don’t think it would immediately change the nature of the saiyens, but I feel their would be a more better working relationship between the galactic king and king vegeta and maybe even some mutual respect. Plus the idea of the saiyens being the universes heroes would would work well with King Vegetas ego and sense of nobility.
my major beef with his work in the manga comes down to him being horrible at keeping a steady pace. it feels like the super manga is just going at a breakneck pace without giving us time to slow down and digest what's going on, especially in the tournament of power arc. it felt kind of like he was trying to force through the ending to get to the moro arc as soon as possible, and even now it feels like stuff is constantly happening and it can be really overwhelming. as much as i love the moro arc, i really hope toyotaro fixes this issue and i honestly hope we get to a point where dragon ball starts telling more engaging stories like the current arc in the future if we're going to continue down this road.
If they want they could at least just turn it into a separate series kinda like super dragon ball heroes but like an actual series to tide fan over till toriyama finishes the outline for the next" canon" story
i would love to see the anime comeback starting with the end of z and have the events afterwards with online and the like with toyotaro working on it as a really big part of him that i love is that he really does remember a lot of dragon balls history with those artworks he does of launch, king chappa, the neko majin z characters, mazotto and even showing cool scenarios like what bardocks team was doing during the events of the broly movie implying they suffered the same fate they had in the tv special or belmond originally being a pride trooper(the closest we've seen to an origin story for a god of destruction which i would be down to see more of!). i feel like toyotaro really could let his wings stretch if they let him expand his use of characters in canon to bring back old favorites like launch, android 8(and maybe give him some interaction with 17 and 18 sine he's technically their sibling)or intergrate toriyamas other works or maybe with the moro arc combine it with a story based on plot points in super dragonball heroes and fighterz (since one of the prisoners strangely resembles towa and maybe alongside 21's technology that can keep up with even majins to an extent.) create a new arc like maybe since his appearance greatly resembles a demon like lucifer and he uses magic like the demons in heroes, you could have moro's defeat briefly open the demon realm which allowed towa and mira to be freed and maybe after hiding on earth and finding 21 in one of geros labs they use her to cause havoc through time using the knowledge of the z fighters flaws and weaknesses to get the jump on them and taking control of them to bring earth and the other planets fused together to make the prison planet and siphon energy to open the demon realm, with the z fighters who are left being tasked with finding the dragonballs across the fused world (like in the manga version of super dragonball heroes which is 8,000 better than the anime.) fighting villains brought through time with towas magic even including possibly gt or movie villains and made more of a viable threat due to 21's technology.
I'm loving the Moro arc honestly. I have no idea how Super 2 is going to be released or how it's gonna work with the Moro Arc being in place, but they should allow Toyotaro to have his moment this time sorta like....yamcha. He has potential now lets see it be brought out. Remember he's a fan like all of us he knows how we think. Just think about how Masako created Dragonball R&R. Sometimes people just go even further beyond.
Even if they're scared of a GT thing happening again, I'd not be too concerned. For all its hiccups and failures, it did bring some fun moments to the fore like the idea of turning the radar into a sentient being that's not extremely useful but has a little more use than a pocket watch the size of a 5-year old's torso. Plus, GT Goku always looked awesome as a Super Saiyan so there's always that too.
It's been over 2 years now, Multiple Chances have been given, and now we have what Toyotaro is really capable of. Moro Arc is so Fresh yet familiar, I'm loving it!
I'm probably the only person who has this opinion but I don't see the Moro Arc being animated at all. Sure the Moro Arc is good, better than Toyotaro's adaptations of the previous arcs in Super definitely (in my opinion), but I don't think that just giving someone who isn't the creator of the series control over the canon of the series is a good idea. Because while the Moro Arc is good you can see quite a bit of Toyotaro's own biases in writing the arc with stuff like Chadhan, Chadhan being especially prevalent as looking as to how Toyotaro treated him in the ToP (Like being on par with Kefla. While Kale in her LSSJ form was giving characters like Golden Frieza and SSB Vegeta trouble, Gohan was able to beat a Potara Fusion where Kale was one of the fuseies.) where he obviously doesn't get any sort of hype like that anymore from Toriyama since Cell. Also regardless as to if the Moro Arc gets animated or not and regardless as it if it is better or worse than GT it will still be in the same vein as DBGT as its a story completely void of any influences from Toriyama, the creator of Dragon Ball and I feel like there will be quite a lot of people who will refuse to give it as much credit as it possibly could get because of that and treat it like GT no matter how good or bad it is and most might not even give it a chance. Sure you see a lot of people giving praise to the Moro Arc but those people isn't the entire fandom of Dragon Ball. I know quite a few big DB Fans who haven't even looked at a single page of the manga and don't even know about the Moro Arc and I heavily doubt that they're the only ones that haven't read it either. Plus there is stuff that will very much likely need to be altered for it to work for the Anime's continuity like stuff like the Manga's Perfected SSB which isn't a thing in the Anime, probably the lack of Kaio-Ken Blue since the Manga doesn't have that, the Cell Jr.s are still around in the Manga for some reason (though since they don't appear in the Moro Arc --as far as I know-- then that can be ignored I guess), Gohan being way stronger than he definitely was in the anime, etc. And I think those things that would very much likely need to be changed also heavily contributes to why Toei might not adapt this arc. Again, I'm in no way saying that the Moro Arc is bad, from the bits I've seen of it I say its pretty alright what with giving the Z Fighters a time to shine and Moro having the unique power of nullifying the characters' transformations, I'm just saying that the circumstances of the arc not being written from the originator of the series and past examples of doing that with GT make it not very likely that this will be animated and that Toei will extremely likely just wait until Toriyama comes up with enough of a story for a Season 2 of Super.
Brendan Francis I like Moro's arc, but I think I know what you're talking about. It could be like with Star Wars not using the creator's ideas and falling out of grace in the eyes of so many fans because of the consequences. I mean, you can tell when it's fan fiction. However, Toriyama is still around, and giving out ideas and observations to Toyo, and even working on the next arc. We still have the original creator around for DB. Let's see what happens and hope it's for the best.
Toyo has hit or miss, I loved the anime version of the black arc, but the manga has some good parts, the T.o.p manga was terrible. But These arc has been amazing. I say give him a chance.
I agree Masako. I think Toyataro is growing as a artist and a story teller despite a lot of criticism from him. Some fair and unfair but regardless he is trying his best to make DB super magna the best he and Toriyama can make
@@coolbeans3752 Nah, that's one of the good things about this arc. They really aren't any better equipped to handle Moro, for all their ability to punch things harder since the Buu saga.
I absolutely want to see this animated! I have my issues with Toyotaro, to be sure, but he's really done some awesome things with this arc and really brought new ideas to Dragon Ball. It would almost be criminal to just say "Oh, that didn't happen" Also, I don't think Dragon Ball needs any more split timelines at this point. If the manga and anime versions of Super just go in totally different directions, I can see that causing some problems in the future
@NovaPrime Productions Honestly, no piece of post-Z Dragon Ball media seems to have any idea what to do with Buu. Even GT just turned him into a power-up for Uub. I hope it's something they can fix up in the near future
dude have aniem manga spltis I the point tororoyo him slef sia dhe don't want the manga to be some as anime tha tnto wh eh going for but do relal want haf ass hit like he mang top arc when the anime di so much better you see of aniem do there one thng it can nake the arc better
I'd be nice if it gets animated but it would be nice if it gets a legitimate chance from toriyama and not just what's available before toriyama comes up with a new idea. It feels like we would be treating it like a garlic jr saga despite it being it good. While both would be an opportunity for toyotaro the reason why he would get the spotlight matters too. Tldr lets treat it like a real chance, a main dish rather than scraps in the fridge
I have not read the manga. Heck I've never read Drahonball or Z's manga but heck yeah I want to see Maro adapted. Maybe the could be waiting for another arc to start before beginning to adapt this one. Just please give Gohan back his purple gi for the anime.
Hell yeah we should give him a chance, the Moro arc is awesome, arguably my favorite arc in all of super, not only are Goku and Vegeta not hogging the spot light, but Moro is a great villain, plus this arc is really fleshing out universe 7 So yeah let's give Toyo our support, and maybe we might just get something even better in the next arc
I agree with everything except Moro being a great villain. He *could* be a great villain. He's been unpredictable verging on inconsistent so far though. I have hope/trust in Toyo that he's been holding back, and that we're gonna understand what makes him tick a bit more in upcoming chapters though. I think that would really help him stick the landing on this story. And if he does, he'll have surpassed Toriyama in a key place: Not frontloading his stories, and saving some character stuff for the second half of the arc.
@@kategrant2728 well he's definitely a more unique villain, plus he was able to best Goku and Vegeta not with raw power, but by utilizing unique abilities and cunning, plus he is very well designed
I haven't watched Geekdom since one of his interviews. He didn't say anything bad. The person was talking about how Goku says he could have beat Buu in ssj3. And Geekdom jumps in with a, "Which he can't." And it was how he said it. Interrupting the guy with this air of superiority in his tone like he's the end all B all of dragon ball. It honestly really pissed me off and I haven't watched him since.
Agree 100% can’t stomach the guys videos. He makes too many mistakes and always seems to blame it on the people watching his videos and say they’re trying to smear his name.
I would definitely be very happy with Super animating the Moro arc, and I would be really disappointed if they skipped it in the anime, now you should never praise an arc until it's finished, but so far it seems to be some of the best Dragon Ball content up to date, it's not the freshest of ideas - but executed well enough it really does not need to be, the anime would probably also expand the arc a little bit which would be a good thing provided by they do not drop the ball doing it ^^'
I don't think they will adapt Moro arc at least until it ends in the manga. They'll catch up to the ongoing in no time, and what then? Going middle strange fillers like in Bleach?
I never watched GT, but I know the plot. I recently picked up the entire show for £15 I clueing delivery from HMV lately (Scottish so a UK consumer) and I'm enjoying it so far the filler is interesting and Pan isn't as annoying in Japanese as she is in English 😂
I think Toyotaro is doing good with the current arc. He is a big fan like most of the community, I'd say he is getting better with each arc he's making, and he has alot of potential! I say he should get given his chance.
@DimensionalBattleStudios To me personally they both have their ups and downs. Although with the most recent arc in the manga, I'm excited to see where it goes.
Keep in mind that Toyotaro publishes his chapters monthly. It's been just over two years since the Galactic Prisoner Saga, with one Chapter a month. But the anime puts out episodes weekly. If they did one chapter per episode, they could cover the entire saga in half a year or so, and then they'd be ahead of the anime and back in post U6-arc territory again. I would still hold off on adapting the manga. Let two full, longer arcs, reach completion so that they have a healthy buffer no matter what the episode:chapter ratio is.
Yeah I think until toriyama brings them a new idea they should do the moro arc and whatever else toyataro does after that. Toriyama approved the moro story so clearly it doesnt effect his idea of where to go for the story of dragonball
Let Toyotaro do his own GT continuation manga while Toriyama works at his own pace on the canon series. This way he'll have more creative freedom without having to worry about stepping on anyone's toes. He's become so much better as a writer since his AF days. I'd like to see him take a real crack at it.
Is the likes of Toei scared of another Dragon Ball GT happening? They shouldn't be! Give Toyotaro a chance to shine.
Also be sure to like this video and share, we need Toriyama's pupil to know he's doing great thus far with Moro.
Here before there are dislikes 😀
But wasn't it Toei's fault for GT in it's entirety?
I so far enjoy Moro arc.
He let Yamcha be more than a meme for once, I'll give him a chance
Agreed
EXACTLY WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT
Precisely
Great Lord Yamcha was able to show his true power, I am always up to see that animated.
Mid 90's Shinigami those Memes are funny though🤔
Toyotaro has great potential let's give him a chance
He has been improving a lot with manga panel layout and overall making the villain enjoyable.
@@thecod2345 yeah Moro still hasn't much development so let's see what he does with him
He has no potential. Amateurs have better skills than him and they actually make their own story. The guy is just a glorified fanboy.
@The Notorious Punk Yes, yes it is a problem.
I'm very proud of him.
it kinda reminds me of sonic mania with christian whitehead and tyson hesse's integration of fans being allowed to work on official works.
His art is kinda disappointing especially since he’s on a monthly schedule
exo tak not at all, the sheer amount of pages he cranks out a month actually isn’t that different from what Toriyama himself published. (15-17 a week compared to 44-47 a month)
Amplify Magic
I completely agree, my friend
Amplify Magic the thing is their are far better artists who’d be willing to work on the dragon ball super manga, and looking at his universal survival arc drawings you can see a lot of inconsistencies with how he draws the bodies of his characters.
*Listens to the points talking about how the manga has Marvel-seeming moments.*
*Thinks back to the Android saga and all the Terminator vibes.*
*MasakoX mentions the Terminator references during the Android saga.*
My man.
Morro has a lot of similarities to not only galactus, but MORLUN(a spider-man villain) as well.
I completely agree with this. Just animate Moro. thats what we want.
@NovaPrime Productions im betting buu comes back during the final battle
@NovaPrime Productions 10000% disagree.
@NovaPrime Productions Worst written arc?
1) Goku Black Saga
2) Cell Saga
3) Freeza Saga
4) Moro Arc
in terms of worst, I'd say King Piccolo saga and Buu Saga
Here's what I think happened
Toriyama: >Watches super.
"Wow. Can't let that happen again."
>Takes his time writing more detailed notes to make sure Super isn't a garbage fire
>P r o c r a s t i n a t i o n
The behind the scenes leaked
Toyotaro deserves a chance I guess, after all he's just another dragon ball fan like the rest of us.
I don't think it makes any sense to think Toei isn't making "Super 2" because this new arc is being made by Toyotaro.
Maybe they learned from their Super mistakes and are waiting for the manga to at least finish one arc before making the anime adaptation? Can't we just wait until the arc is done?
How long is the arc?
@@CrystalGreymon How long is that compared to previous arcs?
@@ShadowWolfRising Sorry for the delay, they are as follows:
God of Destruction Beerus Saga (chapter 1 - chapter 4)
Universe 6 Saga (chapter 5 - chapter 13)
"Future" Trunks Saga (chapter 14 - chapter 26)
Universe Survival Saga (chapter 27 - chapter 42)
Galactic Patrol Prisoner Saga (ongoing)
Or just finish the story. Tho working with others isn't bad. If they want to be a team.
Same comes with Frost, and the others
has deision what dieson maskko x don't you know he traces that not your own dieosn that using some oen eisse that is not skill at all any one can do that
@@ssjgotenks2009 ...what?
We don't need other writers changing the themes and ideas and logic of DB. That is a bad thing.
*Sigh*
I agree.
@@MAR-sc7np Nah, you are right, he should keep the art style. The only thing he should make his unique thing is the story plot.
The Piccolo Gohan double team in the manga was awesome.
Toyataro already shown his good idea with his Dragonball AF stuff. He knows how to improve building the dragon world. I'd say let him go unchained once for a mini arc!
They could reboot Xicor like they did Broly!
Matthew Hoskins

@@matthoskins2318 Black basically is Xicor. An evil Kai-Saiyan with a connection to Goku and his own Godly Super Saiyan form
Lol no, AF is literally the worst piece of cancerous trash to ever exist in the fandom. That's exactly the reason he's shown he doesn't know how to improve the DB world or doesn't know how to write DB. AF is literally the reason he doesn't deserve a chance.

Yeah, the Moro arc is fantastic.
Also love your work
I like Toyble’s AF and the Moro arc. I feel like he’s the closest thing to Toriyama and that’s why he got hired for the manga. Plus he’s 41 so he’s nowhere near the age where he can slow down as a mangaka.
Piccolo
He’s at the point where it would benefit him to take his own Understudy.
Work together with the understudy(personably , it should be a kid , 12-15 , with talent) for 15 years , and slow down.
Honestly the Moro arc is one of my Favorite arcs till now
Moro arc is the best arc since Cell Saga tbh
NovaPrime Productions buu isn’t moros enemy tho the grand supreme Kai is so that’s why buu didn’t care until they brought grand supreme Kais memories back up to the surface
NovaPrime Productions ressurecoof f is worse arc
Shortcomings as an artist aside, he seems to be a pretty good writer, especially within the framework of Dragon Ball. If all that's really holding them up is finalizing the story, pull the trigger already.
@NovaPrime Productions Cool.
Well, to be fair to Toyotaro, a lot of the Goku Black arc feels weirdly reminiscent of his AF story.

My two cents:
the anime might not be out yet due to the scarcity of the material.
Great video. If Toyo keeps this up the way he has been, I wouldn’t mind him writing the series from here on out
I feel like db should get a extended universe like Star Wars once had full of stories from many different writers and authors with genres and something for everyone. People love dragon ball and it’s a beloved series so if they let it expand in
Multiple fashions instead of just one way then there is probably no limit to what could be done.
I'm surprised the Dragon Room hasn't just done a bunch of side stories in-between arcs. I'd like to see if something could've happened in-between the Cell and Buu arcs, or even a more in depth story of Future Trunks versus Dabura and Babidi
Huh, Thanks Masako.
True though if it does happen like always problems will arise until everyone gets used to it.
I agree 100% with everything you just said in the video how can The apprentice become a master if no one gives him a chance
The Moro arc looks pretty good, look like something Toriyama would write , so cheers to Toyotaro
@NovaPrime Productions Toriyama always wrote goku out of stories with all of his arch nemesis too. It looks like something Toriyama WOULD write, lol.
oh right, Cell. When he was in the hyperbolic time chamber.
@NovaPrime Productions "ot really the only time he was taken out a fight with an arch nemesis was when gohan beat Cell. '
No, he was written out of most of the Freiza fight (forms 1-3), the last third of the Vegeta fight and most of the middle fluff of the Buu fight
It's not. If it was Toriyama Moro wouldn't have had everything interesting stripped away after his first fight.
mastertucker Dude what is up with your hate boner for toyo? Moro is fine but you’re being extremely critical for no reason. It’s just a simple manga lmao calm down
I fully AGREE! Toyotaro has such a huge potential and I really hope Toriyama implements his script in the possible sequel to Super
i think they arn't going with the manga (aside from what you said) is that they are afraid to reach the point where the manga is and the anime to rqandomly stop since toyotaro only produces one chapter per month
Maybe toyotaro can go back and smooth out some of Toryiama’s continuity errors
He really needs to not. Knowing him he'd harp way too long on it giving a huge arbitrary explanation that doesn't make sense all for something that doesn't need to be fixed anyway. In fact this fan mentality of 'go back and fix everything instead of moving forward' is exactly why Toyotaro is so trash in the first place, his writing is self indulgent.
the Moro arc is so good!
NovaPrime Productions k
@NovaPrime Productions Ressurection F and the Manga T.O.P says hi.

Would love to see this adapted! Toyotaro's work shines when he's not following a story that's already been written.
He got his chance and he always manages to disappoint
Speaking anime and Moro, i do hope they pick a good VA for him, Kinda wish that was Madara Uchiha´s in both JPN/ENG, but sounds like too much.
He remembers things about DB but then gets his own ideas about it and ruins it.
I really like the idea of a universe six manga/anime based around the saiyans of that universe, maybe even the namekians
A new story, new capabilities, the whole wide open world to play in
Even if they're scared of a GT thing happening again, I'd not be too concerned.
This wouldn't have happened if Dr Mashirito was still around!
It's been over 2 years now, Multiple Chances have been given, and now we have what Toyotaro is really capable of. Moro Arc is so Fresh yet familiar, I'm loving it!
Well, Toyotaro is definitely improving, that’s for sure.
Geekdom101 ? ... now that's a name I have heard in a loooooong time
I'm probably the only person who has this opinion but I don't see the Moro Arc being animated at all.
When DBS got serious things got good, where there is potential for loss to the Dragon Team, the story feels amazing.
Toyo has hit or miss, I loved the anime version of the black arc, but the manga has some good parts, the T.o.p manga was terrible. But These arc has been amazing. I say give him a chance.
100% toyotaro should be given a chance, and it would be fantastic if the next super anime adapts some of his work.
7:46 When Moro reads pornos of himself and gets a shocked look on his eye.
They can put many things before galatic patrol
I think Toyotaro's stuff should be front and center while Toriyama figures out wth he's going to do with Broly moving forward.
I agree Masako. I think Toyataro is growing as a artist and a story teller despite a lot of criticism from him. Some fair and unfair but regardless he is trying his best to make DB super magna the best he and Toriyama can make
mk tororoy ha nto gorw you clal traceing gowin as arst that nto gorwitg dude
what if Moro was the one imprisioned in the egg orb instead of Buu
Everyone is screwed
@@coolbeans3752 Nah, that's one of the good things about this arc. They really aren't any better equipped to handle Moro, for all their ability to punch things harder since the Buu saga.
@@kategrant2728
True, true.
I absolutely want to see this animated! I have my issues with Toyotaro, to be sure, but he's really done some awesome things with this arc and really brought new ideas to Dragon Ball. It would almost be criminal to just say "Oh, that didn't happen"
Also, I don't think Dragon Ball needs any more split timelines at this point.

Dangit RUclips, are you drinking again?
To be honest, Toyataro is a pretty good artist however some people in the fandom think he isn't because of the tracing drama.
He made a mistake, yes. However, he has learnt from that and has been stepping up more and more.
He's a great artist. He's a terrible writer though.
Well explained, Masako.
I have not read the manga. Heck I've never read Drahonball or Z's manga but heck yeah I want to see Maro adapted. Maybe the could be waiting for another arc to start before beginning to adapt this one. Just please give Gohan back his purple gi for the anime.
They could even do an anime version of jaco. I've been saying they need to do that since he returned for resurrection f
Hell yeah we should give him a chance, the Moro arc is awesome, arguably my favorite arc in all of super, not only are Goku and Vegeta not hogging the spot light, but Moro is a great villain, plus this arc is really fleshing out universe 7
So yeah let's give Toyo our support, and maybe we might just get something even better in the next arc
Moro arc has been my favorite in super thus far
I haven't watched Geekdom since one of his interviews. He didn't say anything bad. The person was talking about how Goku says he could have beat Buu in ssj3. And Geekdom jumps in with a, "Which he can't." And it was how he said it. Interrupting the guy with this air of superiority in his tone like he's the end all B all of dragon ball. It honestly really pissed me off and I haven't watched him since.
Agree 100% can’t stomach the guys videos. He makes too many mistakes and always seems to blame it on the people watching his videos and say they’re trying to smear his name.
Despite his tone. He is still correct on Super Saiyan 3 Goku not being able to beat fat buu. Realistically think about it.
I would definitely be very happy with Super animating the Moro arc, and I would be really disappointed if they skipped it in the anime, now you should never praise an arc until it's finished, but so far it seems to be some of the best Dragon Ball content up to date, it's not the freshest of ideas - but executed well enough it really does not need to be, the anime would probably also expand the arc a little bit which would be a good thing provided by they do not drop the ball doing it ^^'
I would LOVE to see the Moro arc in Anime form, I really hope they don't skip it
I don't think they will adapt Moro arc at least until it ends in the manga.
Yeah we need to realign the Anime and Manga continuities
Toyotaro is the JJ Abrams of anime. Can’t make a single original idea to save his life.
The higher ups treat Toyotaro as if they’re the Gohan to Toriyamas Goku in Buu saga.
Derek Night don’t you mean piccolo
Judy Deloso Nope. Toyotaro has potential, but the Buu saga squandered that potential
Derek Night yeah true true
But Gohan was stronger than Goku by the end of the Buu arc.
@@embercloud2711 And at this point Toyotara is probably "stronger" than Toriyama.
This guy looks exactly like Gohan
My only thing I disagree with is the poll doesn't have a Hell Yes option.
Let Toyotaro do his own GT continuation manga while Toriyama works at his own pace on the canon series. This way he'll have more creative freedom without having to worry about stepping on anyone's toes. He's become so much better as a writer since his AF days. I'd like to see him take a real crack at it.
Trunks and Goten park ranger anime filler episodes, I can see it now 😂
Now I wish dbza is ongoing
Really enjoying Moro arc. Give him a shot
