I'm of the perspective if God were to allow evil to exist it means he's good enough to actually forgive you no matter what you do. Which is a level of benevolence that is almost Ludacris

I feel the same way. Evil exists so that we as humans can overcome it and become strong spiritual beings. That is one of the points of Christ as example. Without an example of "goodness", all would fall short of the glory of becoming a "child of God". He gives us something to aim at.

Of course he is, and that is the entire philosophy behind Christianity. What people need to understand is that God needs us to be humble. Forgiveness is open to all, it is given, but we must RECEIVE it. To receive us not a passive thing.
