I've watched all of his Biblical series few times. Changed my life😉. His maps of meaning lectures at Toronto college is amazing also!
Same here. Found something alot better than alcohol too.
The very old idea behind this is the limitation of omnipotence: it is stationary. It is upholding itself by definition. Spaceless, timeless, eternal.
God can "evolve" only when it fragments itself into imperfect, limited parts which struggle, strive and change. Those fragments are in path to return to god, and because those pieces changed, god changes.
Literally all ancient religions have this idea in some form.
So, the whole universe is a manifestation of god put into time and space where change is not only possible, but inevitable.
Wow. Very well said. Holy fack.
Large caliber of Jordan's content.
What we all must understand...Rulers most often rule by the CONSENT of the people! In fact the Isrealites were not conquered and enslaved by the Egyptians...they CONS3NTED to be under their control! They consented away there natural rights and sought protection and benefits of the Pharoah!
Very good point.
Exactly. All government is by consent to one extent or another. And if you favor the comforts of complacency to the struggle of independence, then that is your choice. No despot can rule long without at least having aforementioned complacency, which is I’m sorry to say, consent.
@@abehambino And those few who are not complacent are enslaved.
So limitation is the meaning of life?

short answer: YES.
Or modern day North Korea
First
Maybe you should articulate something interesting or just pretend making a non comment first is substantial. Well it probably is the first time you ever came in first for anything......so....smh
@@YELLTELL I was actually considering using it 2 talk about Marine permaculture, GPS fencing collars for livestock, early-retirement extreme, the keto and carnivore diets, the Wim Hof method and a number of other things but I'm actually pretty tired. I actually make a lot of first comments, I'm not sure there's anything substantial worth being first for anymore.
