I drove a 2024 NX 350h Premium and it’s the best SUV I’ve driven. 40 mpg was normal, super fast, responsive even in eco mode, quiet, comfortable and best of cost me $24 to fill up (March of this year) and gave a range of close to 400 miles and I drive average 75 mph. I’m still geeked out about it costing it $24 to fill up for a SUV and when the gas prices were high!
Ben didn't explain it very well but the difference in quality between a Lexus and Toyota is huge. Aslo that ML stereo is amazing and JBL are average at best. If you have the money the upgrade is worth it.
I have had my 2025 NX 350H and could not love it more. I have owned several Toyotas; most recently anAvalon. I had taken a test drive in a RAV 4 and it was nice but unimpressive. I decided to visit a Lexus dealer, and once I drove the 2025 NX 350H Premium, there was no going back. It is beautifully designed inside and out, and drives and handles beautifully. It has plenty of power, so I have not tried the sport mode yet. It is an amazing piece of technology, and in my opinion, the entire driving experience far exceeds that of the RAV 4.
Those who say Lexus is just Toyota never drives a Lexus NX350 ever. The speed and reliability is another level, not to mention Toyota is already reliabile. Best car and real luxurious experience with an friendly price! If you buy a luxury car and can't afford to drive it as your daily, and can't afford to follow the maintained schdule, or can't afford to buy a brand new one, and don't look down on people who is not stupid enough to pay premium to own a logo.😂
I couldn't agree more. No comparison. I bought three new Toyotas and was sure I would never buy anything else, but now I can't imagine going back. My 2025 Lexus NX 350H is such a pleasure to drive, and nothing like the RAV 4, in my opinion. I have had my Lexus for nearly a month and am currently getting 38.3 MPG. Finally, I understand what it means to drive a "luxury" car. We'll done, Lexus.
Picked up the 2025 NX350H Premium in June. Driving it to get the best gas mileage is stressful. It's like a game to see what mpg and driving efficiency I get. I miss the mindless driving. I don't think the 12V battery charges. Once a week I connect the 12V battery to a trickle charger. Even though I drive 13 miles each way to work, it isn't charging the 12V. I find it to be a dirt magnet on the outside, especially the back where there are flat ridges where dirt connects. I parked in a dirt lot and when I washed my car, the fine dirt somehow made it inside the door rims. It took me a while to get used to the loose steering. I find the interior to be well laid out.
I bought a 2025 NX350h last month. A RAV4 is definitely cheaper. If that’s what you want or better yet - if you like it more than even better. But I personally feel I spend too much time in my car as is and so I want that time to be as enjoyable as possible.
I have a 2024 NX 350h and it is much quieter than my previous Toyota RAV4 and 4Runner. As an example of Lexus quiet engineering, the windshield and front windows are noise suppressing double pane laminate glass. Roll the front window down and run your fingers along the top edge. You can feel the two panes of glass. There are many other examples of quiet engineering in the NX.
I just purchased an NX 350h, and overall I'm very happy with it, the exterior, and interior are all to my liking. However, the cargo box of the original car is not big, and this cargo cover blocks a lot of space. It is too fixed and takes up a lot of space. Sometimes I need to pull some tools and things like that, which requires a lot of space. In comparison, I prefer to buy replacements online. The price is not expensive, and it is also a very good choice.
@@loveluxury3511 it feels just like bad design that you can’t turn it off haha. Other than that, I feel like the dashboard should be be updated to full digital to be on par with the other premium cars. Besides that, I feel like this should be my next car. I really love it. Thank you kindly for your answer.
Hi Ben, my grandpa is in the market for a brand-new car and is currently cross-shopping the Toyota RAV4 Limited and Lexus NX350 Luxury Pkg (non-hybrid ones), can you give me a quick comparison between the two? I would like to know how you feel both cars stack up to each other and weather the Lexus is worth the $15k extra or not, my grandpa wants a smaller SUV to replace his 2016 Camry XLE and isn’t interested in anything other than Toyota and Lexus
Have him test drive the hybrid models as well. They drive better. The interior of the Toyota Venza is really nice, darn near Lexus quality for less money.
The Lexus is nicer. More hp. Faster. Quiter interior. Dealers are also usually better. Is it worth $15k extra? Only the person buying it can decide that. But it is nicer.
I am a Canadian in Taiwan, and I am on the cusp of buying a 2025 NX 350h. I am feeling apprehensive about pulling the trigger because I worry that the 2026 or 2027 NX might be significantly revised or improved. Any thoughts?
I purchased the 2024 NX 450h. I was thinking of waiting for a new model too, but you’ll also be paying about $5,000 more. I purchased my vehicle during the time the 2025’s were coming out and they were at least $2,000 more. I was waiting for Lexus to get rid of the navigation center square. When I saw the new large screen and the gas savings that I would be getting from my current 2013 350 Rx that was getting 18 mpg, I knew it was time. I will say my leather interior and steering wheel were better quality in my2013. That kind of bothered me, but I still enjoy my new car.
@@sandyguevara1933 the cost difference is not of concern. Here in Taiwan the price of an imported car is quite high as compared to Canada or the US. You might be surprised to know that an NX runs $120,000 CAD / $88,000 USD.
I use premium gasoline because it is recommended for the best performance. It costs a little more, but the car drives flawlessly, and I don't fill up as often now that I drive a hybrid.
You forgot to mention that the NX does NOT come with a spare tire, the RAV4 does. Game changer for me. I can't imagine every time getting a flat (yes the NX has run flat tires for about 50 miles capability) and having to tow the car somewhere. Besides, have you tried to purchase run flat tires from your local service station or tire center. Not readily available. And lastly run flat tires ride harder than standard tires, ya feel every bump.
