    Thanks for sharing this video. I may be a little biased since I'm a Twins fan, but I could listen to Jim Kaat all day on commentary.

      I was So sad last year when he did a game w Bob Costas on MLB Channel and said it was his last game. All the iconic voices, knowledge able commentators, are replaced with manywoke jokers. They are such homers, donot call the game, and detract from the broadcast. I feel Melanie Newman is one of the morebelow average commentaors, along with Kevin Brown neither of which come close to the level og their predecessors. I.have just turned down the volume when these 2 come on,.as they are wrong on so many cqlls its sickening. They are on TV they get away w it bc a viewer can see, but they look a fool. On radio, its terrible.DRSCRIBE what's happening. I know ots rushed now w goofy new rule but please quit talking of food, referencing Television programs on premium cable, which most arenot wasting mlney on now a days, and donot follow. Why, we are working, w family, or watching baseball. Don't care about sinful elfs or gansters. Woke wierdos pushing those fuity Baltimore shirts arg.
      Anyway yes Jim Kat is good. Somehow cbs made baseball presentations very good.

      Jim Kaat never gets enough run for how good a broadcaster he was, much like his pitching career. I'm so glad that he finally made it to Cooperstown as a player.

    It felt like the Jays would never have "their day" as this series played out. Little did we know the change of fortunes about to occur in '92 and '93.

    This was a five-year stretch between 1987-91 that either the Twins or the A's combined for five American League Pennants and three World Series titles A's in '89 and the Twins in both '87 and in '91. Two great baseball executive architects Sandy Alderson for the A's and Andy McPhail for the Twins build gtreat teams via the drafting and development in their minor league farm systems.

      At the same time, between 1985 and 1993, the Blue Jays won the AL Pennant 5 times. It would have been 6 if the Jays didn't have that collapse at the end of 1987

      - Settle down FFS! How 'bout THIS question, WHY can't anyone accept the BLUE JAYS' success graciously? All we hear about the Jays is how they're a bunch of "thugs" & they're "classless" & all that crap. Why can't anyone give US some respect for once?? We always have to take a back seat to everyone ELSE.

    • @ckendall67
      @ckendall67 8 лет назад

      - We had to watch OTHER teams have success for 20+ years while the Jays were on the sidelines in October. Now that the Jays have had a bit of that postseason taste, how 'bout shutting UP already....

      All the problem in this series for the jays was poor management. If candiotti dors not start the 6th inning the jays should have won easyly and jays could have won 3 straight championships.
