No, as i write in another comment, the best is using a mod that makes Ondolemar (Thalmor head in Markarth) a follower: act like helping him, betray him, so you progress towards a daedric artifact and in the process cleaning the land of a Thalmor. Sometimes i even kill him after casting soul trap, or using a Soul Trap enchanted weapon.

In Njada’s defense, you’d be pretty mad too if some random stranger joined your faction, then (from your perspective) capitalized on the Harbinger’s *death* to take over within a week. She’s been there far longer than the player, yet the player still manages to outrank her. I’d be pissed too

You make a good point. In-game though, you (the Dragonborn) are simply better than her in every possible way; the Companions have minimum standards for entry (e.g., you have to beat up Vilkas) but is more or less a meritocracy after that. Njada can get stuffed for being mid.

Lol you may have convinced me to actually pay lip service to these three vile beings.
I will happily bludgeon that old goat Logrolf into a paste. Mostly because he worships a Daedra of martial strength but can't even take a mild BDSM session. Poser.
Could not care less about ventilating that weak willed fool Vigilant Tyranus. Not two minutes of a locked door, some cheap theatrics and supernatural house cleaning and he's happy to murder the only person in Skyrim that ever tried to help him or befriend him, as a worshipper of the Aedra of loyalty, guardianship and resistance to Daedric corruption. Disgusting.
I'll even slit that dabbling fool from Dawnstar. He is crying for Numantia and I am happy to oblige 😂
But idk about sacrificing a companion. Even someone as enraging, as violating as Lydia. Feels bad man. Even though it is she who comes into my room and eats my bread and sits and watches me. And my man. In bed. For hours. Even on my Talos damned wedding night 😮

@@ApollyonZKX Argonian and Khajit are sentient races of Mundus and Tamriel, why shouldn't be cannibalism? Is like saying that an asian person eating a central african, or a caucasian eating someone from middle east, or viceversa, is not cannibalism!
And Khajith by lore actually hate Namira even more than other races. If they ever perform some sort of prayer, is only to placate her, an never to whorship.
Plus, by TES lore, the race that use to practice cannibalism the most are the Bosmer/Wood elves.
However they use to practice that only on the bodies of enemies they killed in battle for other reasons and sometimes on beloved that already died, and they did that as a positive ritual involving honoring the strength and spirit of the fallen, and asking their soul to grant them part of that strength, plus is a way to pray and preserve the circle of life and death in nature.
Namira cannibals on the other hand feed themself on the enemies to desecrate and torture their bodies even in death, and to bring squalor and decay to the world (2 of the things on wich Namira rules).
In Skyrim, apart from roleplaying as a Namira (or in general all daedra) whorshiper, the closer thing is playing as a Forsworn, or a necromancer

Uthgerd the Unbroken is the one you should sacrifice. She is an unemployed drunk (spends 24 hours a day in the Bannered Mare) who has a house that she is too drunk to find (until she's fleeing the Battle of Whiterun). We have to keep Ondolemar around, he's literally the only Thalmor who can grasp manners even a little. Since we can't reasonably kill every Thalmor member (since they've taken over them islands, I would assume they've made party support mandatory so most Altmer are technically Thalmor on the homeland, we don't have to jump to genocide first) we're going to have to give the ex-Thalmors we spare a good example, and one with manners will be an important deprograming tool.

He is in Markarth only for his duty of Justiciar, searching for any proof of someone whorshipping Talos... and he never say nothing to put him above average Thalmors... he actually acts more or less like Elenwen. But thier calm behaviours are not "good manners" towards the citizen of Skyrim, but they act simply accordingly to their diplomatic/politic role.
On your assumption that in Summerset Island most Altmer are Thalmor (at least most of the influencial ones), you are correct: by lore all the Altmer in their homeland that didn't support them were killed or escaped the province.
I would like to know if there is some sort of hidden internal resistance movement, it would be cool.
About the genocide, i never think is an option, since i understand the difference between Thalmor high ranks operatives (guilty) Thalmor low ranks or supporters (that can be fooled around by their propaganda, but can be redemeed, and we have an example in game, the Falkreath priest of Arkay), and other non Thalmor Altmer and Bosmer and we have a lot of neutral elves, and some altmer that are actively against the Thalmor, (like the Imperial Legate in the Rift Imperial Camp)... respect for those 2 last groups!

@@alessiodaniotti264 Nothing you're saying is wrong. But also most every other Thalmor you meet will decide it's time to resort to violence after two questions. Yes, I'd say that means he can grasp manners better, and significantly better than most others, actually. In comparison, that's some damn good manners, even if they're performative and not particularly genuine. It's not about him being particularly good yet, it's more about how much worse the rest seem to be.
Also, just because we're talking about him and important people in the same breath, we don't know how important Ondolemar really is. All he says is he's the "commander of the region" and that tells us almost nothing. What does he mean by region? Of all of Skyrim? Of the south-western bit of Skyrim? Of the Reach? Of Markarth? Of the little strip he walks outside of the Jarl's throne room? His whole command could be those two soldiers who follow him around and his entire mission is to irritate the Jarl into arresting Talos worshippers in the city.

If there were no room for darkness, light wouldn't be defined without shadows. The world is a power struggle between light and dark, so fantasy always includes both.

Now go to Dragon Bridge and talk to Azzada Lylvieve about who saved him from the streets of Markarth , an old soldier named Logrolf the Bent. First names aren’t repeated in the game but rarely. Also, would you take alms from a priest of Boethia? Disguised as an old Nord soldier who has a house (!) in Markarth, Azzada grows, leaves the city and makes a good living in Dragonbridge. The ultimate sacrifice for Boethia is to take this man at the pinnacle of success and sacrifice him to Boethia. This is I believe is Logrolf’s plan now destroyed by your helping Molag Bal.

    Utreght the Unbroken..
    Here's why.

    • @HellqueenRoz
      @HellqueenRoz 7 месяцев назад +11

Also Uthgerd is… a pretty questionable individual. She got kicked out of the Companions after killing someone in a training fight. The Companions who are an order of werewolves willing to take contracts to beat up various citizens of Skyrim for extortion or coercion… these are the people who said that Uthgerd was too violent and unrestrained for them. And implicitly: they probably realise that someone like Uthgerd would be extremely reckless and uncontrolled with the beast blood. The Companions depend on secrecy about their true nature to survive after all.
Uthgerd never shows any regret for the person she killed and mostly seems to resent the fact that it cost her her place in the Companions and spends her days drinking and brawling with strangers. In other words: her motives seem wholly selfish and she doesn’t seem to have made any significant effort to atone for her deeds.

Personally I don’t agree with the idea that the one you should sacrifice should be someone you don’t like, it’s a betrayal so it should feel like one.
When you bring your follower to be sacrificed you should feel remorse for what you’re about to do, the person you sacrifice should be someone that matters, the betrayal should sting. It’s not much of a betrayal if the guy you sacrifice is a random guy you just met 3 minutes ago which is why I prefer choosing my closest follower instead, I know many people don’t like to see their favourites die but as an fe fan I feel it must be said that letting your favourite character die for once will just deepen your appreciation for both the one sacrificed and for other followers you mauve not given a shot otherwise.
Now I’ve mainly went over how I like to handle it from a role playing perspective but that’s just cause I think that’s more fun to do, I’d much rather sacrifice Lydia for a crucial character moment that changes my character as it should rather than sacrifice some drunk guy I meet 1 afternoon ago for some cool unique armour. That’s just my own preference though.

The solstheim follower was my first pick to sacrifice since he's weak minded enough to become a mass murderer in the name of his daedric god. The 2 or 3 playthroughs of skyrim i did always fast tracked going to solstheim for the major unlocks there.
The solstheim dragon priest masks could be used in conjunction with the falmer helmets like how the main game ones used to be, but these were better as they provide elemental damage boosts. My favorite was zakrisoos. Didnt matter which though since all provided same boost to chaos enchantments...
The chaos enchantment was another must have from solstheim. Pair that with maxed destruction tree, maxed enchanting (the armor set from the one ruin you had to clear again and again good for thissince it provided enchanting boost), and the stalhrim weapons.
Stalhrim weapons boosted frost damage but since chaos damage had frost as part of it, ALL of them were boosted. And if you pair the insanely powerful chaos enchantment with something like fear for example, you could make enemies up to level 152 run away when without the chaos enchant it would be like level 30. Although i wasn't a big fear user as it made me chase targets rather than slaughter, i preferred the healing on one sword and soul snare on another.
The power to get unlimited mana for magic for 30s was huge, cus once you had that you could cheese your levels quickly and unlock every perk you wanted to within minutes, as you only had to use your left trigger for telekenisis, open the map, and fast travel to the other side of solstheim longeays to get 100 alteration instantly. Just do this in small sessions rather than jumping from level 40 to level 200 since you'll be very under equipped after you're done if you do it all at once.
The other power that was a must have was the daedric merchant. No longer was weight an issue in dungeons as any time you looted too mich you could just summon him and sell him the heaviest garbage on the spot, and then wait if necessary to summon him again.

I just think the poison effect is too inconvenient; the one time I got it, it would cause people in the cities to aggro on me or in combat it would hurt my followers and cause them to attack me.

@@KaoruMzk I actually like effects like that. With a few mods like Horses of the Apocalypse and Wintersun and another one from EnaiSiaion... I think Summermyst, I managed to create a character that didn't even fight. I had the Death horse that killed any enemy it touched below a certain level, I was a devotee of Mehrunes Dagon, giving any enemies within a radius damage and to top it all off, my armour had enchantments that also dealt damage, including instantly killing enemies within a certain radius. I didn't even have to fight, I just walked calmly and enemies just disintegrated.
