If you sell crops to farmers they will have a positive disposition of you. Go to the Salvious farm (I think that’s the name) outside of markarth near stables. You can do it with Narfi from Ivarstead after you accomplished his quest (pretty easy to do). Once you killed him, use Dead Thrall (or Staff of Worms if you don't want to xp your conjuration) to resurect him, and kill him again until the blade is fully stacked.

For anyone that doesn’t know, there’s a way to get the 10 kills for the Ebony Blade with just one person. Step 1, get conjuration maxed out to level 100 Step 2, complete the master conjuration ritual spell quest at the college of Winterhold. Step 3, buy the master spells you just unlocked from the quest. The one you need is called Dead Thrall. Step 4,hire any mercenary at any tavern. Step 5, kill them with Ebony Blade and resurrect them with the Dead Thrall spell. Repeat this process until you hear the dialogue from the Whispering Lady telling you that the sword has been restored, which is 10 kills. Step 6 (optional) but recommended, Combine this task with Boethia’s Calling Quest to get them both done at along side each other. Important note, you won’t be able to resurrect the person you’re trying to kill repeatedly for the ebony blade UNTIL you complete the Boethia quest. This is because Boethia talks to you through the person you’re sacrificing for her quest. Once her quest is completed, you will now be able to resurrect them with the dead thrall spell. It’s worth it tho because you get some badass armor for your efforts. I always recommend checking the wiki for whoever you’re considering for these quests to make sure they don’t have any quests of their own or apart of. That way you can complete whatever quests they have or are apart of, before un-aliving them… repeatedly lol 😅
I adopted Sissel this time around along with Lucia.... I just wish it was more simulation like where I could bring Sissel for tutoring sessions in magic, or idk, teach the kid myself. And also teach them hunting and all that that. That would be great. Make actual trips andake a parental relationship and family bond vs what it is now.
You can also join the rieklings at the mead hall quest and then massacre some of those little blue creatures. They'll fill the blade and you won't lose any NPC's Might take a while to finish the quest but, once finished, it'll be pretty easy to get the blade maxxed
Ritual stone and Lydia at Boethia's shrine. Then Fus-ro-dah her in a northwestern direction towards Azurah's statue. I only do that in a casual run... the exploit, I mean.
I just cannot kill Ondolemar. His positive-reputation-male-Altmer lines aren't exactly a dime a dozen in Skyrim. There's only one other guy who has them, and I'm not much one for wandering to the Winterhold Inn when I have the Arch Mages quarters at my disposal. Everyone else who shares Ondolemar's voice is hostile. Please, I need him to tell me there's nothing as fine as my company.
I think this video is a really fun idea, so I'd like to rank each of your choices in my personal ethics tier list. Subject to personal disagreement*** Hert: S tier A literal serial killer who dies from a quest anyway. Only downside is you wont get the flavor text. Sinding: D tier Not bad from a gameplay standpoint, but from morallity? Not sure. Sinding never chose to become a werewolf, and if you become a werewolf or a vampire or whatever, I basically see it like you can either choose to try to find a way to manage your condition like serana or not even try. Sinding seems to genuinely feel bad for his actions and we also know that the ring has the properties of randomly transforming you until the quest is completed. Silus: F tier morality, S tier gameplay benifits Yeah not really moral but hey you could get a cool dagger. WHSHHH SWIISHH thats the sound of me swinging and stabbing stuff. Lemkil: D tier He may be a bad person but he never did anything worthy of the death penalty and is likely just a really sad person. Not excusing him, but if he dies the kids will likely grow up on the streets or in the orphanage like so many of the homeless children that get eaten up by skyrim. Thonar Silver Blood: C tier Killing him seems good on the surface until you realize that because he basically owns the town, a political assassination would probably lead to lawlessness and rioting. Or maybe everyone would do wonderfly. I have the silver bloods too, but they are also the entire economy of the town. So while it gets a C tier, there are enough unknowns it can get no higher. Ondolemar: B Tier This one would get S tier for me, for being a member of a secret police force that imprisons people for their religion, however as is mentioned in the video the cost of befriending him defeats the justification. Melka: A tier While I see pretty good justifications here, there is ultimately a bad feeling about killing a monster that had the decency to not attack. The fact that every other hag raven just starts attacking me makes me instantly like her more. Almost makes me forgive her for eating people. Almost. Hroggar: F tier The video doesnt seem that confident in this one. I think breaking the spell is the way to go especially since that is an option. Markarth Cannibals: S tier Yeah these guys are just awful. All of them are pure evil. Jaree-Ra and Deeja: S tier this one is almost cheating because you can get a free kill for defending yourself. Dark brotherhood contracts: most are F tier hern is S Yeah, its good for gameplay reasons, but going off of pure morality, the dark brotherhood is the baddies. The windhelm one with the shatter shields is a crushingly sad tale. Probably the most immoral killing on this list. The dark brotherhood members: S tier The dark brotherhood is the baddies. Plus all you have to do is kill grelod the kind to join, which only make orphans able to be adopted and helps the world. Oh and those people who are tied up but just kill the kajiit only who claims to have many enemies. Then you can easily get 5 without effort. Not sure if you need to do more missions for it to count with the blade. Boethea's sacrifice: ? tier Kind of irrellivant to this comment because Im just talking about the ethics and it could be anybody
Just gonna put this out there, dead thrall allows you to do this to anyone you like for as many times (but I could be wrong it’s been a while since I played)
Use the dead thrall spell and resurrect the follower you kill at boethias shrine. Then kill them again with the ebony blade. You can keep resurrecting them till it's Mac level.
With the master Raise Thrall spell you can just give coin a few times to a single beggar and keep killing and bringing them back repatededly to max out the blade.
Ralis from Kolbjorn Barrow. For one, you let him think he got away with mindless murder. Second, he thinks you're his friend. Third, sacrifice him with the Ebony Blade at the shrine of Boethia.
There is that beggar in Ivarstead that you're going to eliminate anyway in Dark Brotherhood sidequests. Just find his sister's locket and he's good to go. Just use the Ritual Stone ability.
I'm surprised Nazeem isn't on this list (I know he isn't really going to improve the ebony blade, he is just a condescending to the dragon born, plus It's fun to kill him lol)
I always thought Hert and Hern were siblings. I only recently found out that their relationship may have been intended to be unknown, as cut guard dialogue has them asking about it.
Idk about Ondolemar, he does actually treat the Dragonborn with respect for performing the task, which is quite frankly leaps and bounds for a Thalmor. You can also complete Boethiah’s sacrifice with the priestess of Azura and so pretty much cause a minor Dunmer pantheonic civil war. Also I’m pretty sure killing Nilsine causes her parents to end their lives so maybe there’s such thing as too much death lol
pro tip, help Sindig against the hunters and get the uncursed ring, then go back and slaughter him with the Blade for the Savior's Hide. Win/win, your Ebony Blade got a bit stronger and you scammed another Daedric Prince out of 2 artifacts. It doesn't get more decietful than that.
The Thalmor believe that the creation of Mundus was the worst mistake in history. The Daedra also hate Mundus. So naturally, slaying Thalmor with a Daedrinc prince's blade would be quite poetic. Sending their souls to the Soul Cairn, which is in Oblivion, rather than letting them ascend to Aetherius, is also hilarious.
I mean Sissel's magic learning can be remedied easy enough. Adopt her, and marry a mage, or I suppose if you yourself are a Magic User you could theoretically be teaching her.
you can use the necromancy stone to resurect a dead follower every 24 hours. their body wont disintegrate and killing them again counts as progress. so you only have to kill one
Step 1: Marry Mjoll The Lioness. Move her into your house in Solitude. Step 2: Up your Necromancy game until you get the Dead Thrall spell. Step 3: Catch Aerin slipping out on the road just East of Solitude with the Ebony Blade and no witnesses. Lather, rinse, repeat... (while trying not to decapitate him.) Step 4: ... Step 5: Profit.
Another good one is Torbjorn Shatter-Shield but this one is also a bit.....morally questionable. Just, hear me out. The Shatter-Shield Clan is grieving when you first arrive to Windhelm, especially the mother Tova, because they lost their daughter to the serial killer that's roaming around. If you talk to Torbjorn he'll give you quest to get an amulet of Arkay as a present for his grieving wife. If you do that, you have officially befriended him. Now to the questionable part. As already mentioned in the video, you get an optional quest in the dark brotherhood questline to kill Nilsine, the second daughter of the Shatter-Shield Clan. If you do that the mother won't be able to endure the loss of another child and ends up taking her life so she'll be reunited with her daughters. This leads to Torbjorn being the only one left in the Shatter-Shield Clan, having now lost his wife and 2 daughters, and he ends up becoming depressed and an alcoholic because of it. So now you could technically kill him with the Ebony Blade, put him out of his misery and reunite him with his family in Sovngarde. Win win?
Neloth calling Ondolemar an arrogant bastard is hilariously ironic. Neloth is just another high and mighty elf that needs a good chop from Wuuthrad after the dragon born is done using him. Tragic that he’s essential but luckily mods can fix that problem.
This Ondolemar slander will not stand, hes the only Thalmor in the game to respect the Dragonborn and can be used as a distraction at the Embassy
But after that.....
Polished shite is still shite
Respect? He doesn't even know your character is a dragonborn. He's still Thalmor scum.

Best part is that it's not just wiping them out, you can team up with the jarl, Mjoll and other good citizens to take out Maven black briar's criminal empire in a series of quests.
Oh I need to look that up
@@krystianszewczyk1522I could you getting them all arrested but killing the thieves guild is insane for a guild who doesn’t kill. DBhood deserves it
2:13 Last time I checked, using necromancy to resurrect them, when you kill them the second time, their bodies will just turn to ash and you can't resurrect them again. However, if you get the blessing of the Ritual Stone and use that, that does work, as their bodies won't turn to ashes afterwards.
Tonvar Silver-Blood
I love the idea of a daygrit lord making a blade for betrayl and tasking the owner to empower it by killing your friends only for somone to grab it then make friends with awful people in skyrim then killing them making the world better i just imagine the lord that made the sword going dude what the fuck you were supposed to be evil
In a way, betraying the prince with malicious compliance. It comes full circle
The Ebony Blade is not Katana like, it is a Katana. They have always existed in Elder Scrolls.
It's a shame they didn't make an actual return in Skyrim. We only have the Blade's ones and the ebony blade.
Bethesda really doesn't understand just how many otakus play games.
its not its a different type of sword
Tbh, I got the bard from riverwood with the resurrection stone and just killed him and revived him 9 times
Didn’t see it in the comments but there is a way to get the Saviors Hide and the ring of Hircine. Complete the quest siding with Sinding. Once he gives you the armour , betray him (with the ebony blade ofc) leave and talk to the aspect of Hircine to collect the ring
If you sell crops to farmers they will have a positive disposition of you. Go to the Salvious farm (I think that’s the name) outside of markarth near stables. You can use the ritual stone to revive and get an easy 4 kills out of the 10. Uthgerd, marcurio and the dude in the silver blood inn can provide the rest of the kills. (Provided you use the stone)
You can do it with Narfi from Ivarstead after you accomplished his quest (pretty easy to do). Once you killed him, use Dead Thrall (or Staff of Worms if you don't want to xp your conjuration) to resurect him, and kill him again until the blade is fully stacked.
I love that whenever you say the title of the video you don’t day “in Skyrim” at the end. Now everyone at work probably thinks I’m planning a murder spree 😂
Haven't finished the intro of the video but I'll say I got the blade before I did the quests for the cannibal ring and so I upgraded the blade with the lives of the cannibals once I had become the champion of the prince and won their trust
can you make who is to recruit for rebuilding The Blades quest?
That could make a good video someday ;)
Why would you ever do that?
That's a great idea! Id love to watch that!
For anyone that doesn’t know, there’s a way to get the 10 kills for the Ebony Blade with just one person.
Step 1, get conjuration maxed out to level 100
Step 2, complete the master conjuration ritual spell quest at the college of Winterhold.
Step 6 (optional) but recommended,
Combine this task with Boethia’s Calling Quest to get them both done at along side each other.
They'll fill the blade and you won't lose any NPC's
Might take a while to finish the quest but, once finished, it'll be pretty easy to get the blade maxxed
I just wiped out orc strongholds after becoming blood kin😈
Your distain for Lemkil fuels me more than breakfast
There's this dude in morthal i just kill him and revive with ritual stone till it's done
You are such an underrated channel ngl
Didn't know there was a quest where you could befriend a Hagraven, lol
Thought i had explored every bit of land in this game
lemkil always got the modded yeet into the air to only kick the bucket from ankle breakage
I think this video is a really fun idea, so I'd like to rank each of your choices in my personal ethics tier list. Subject to personal disagreement***
Hert: S tier
A literal serial killer who dies from a quest anyway. Only downside is you wont get the flavor text.
Sinding: D tier
Not bad from a gameplay standpoint, but from morallity?
Silus: F tier morality, S tier gameplay benifits
Yeah not really moral but hey you could get a cool dagger. WHSHHH SWIISHH thats the sound of me swinging and stabbing stuff.
Lemkil: D tier
He may be a bad person but he never did anything worthy of the death penalty and is likely just a really sad person. Not excusing him, but if he dies the kids will likely grow up on the streets or in the orphanage like so many of the homeless children that get eaten up by skyrim.
Thonar Silver Blood: C tier
Killing him seems good on the surface until you realize that because he basically owns the town, a political assassination would probably lead to lawlessness and rioting. Or maybe everyone would do wonderfly. I have the silver bloods too, but they are also the entire economy of the town. So while it gets a C tier, there are enough unknowns it can get no higher.
Ondolemar: B Tier
This one would get S tier for me, for being a member of a secret police force that imprisons people for their religion, however as is mentioned in the video the cost of befriending him defeats the justification.
Melka: A tier
While I see pretty good justifications here, there is ultimately a bad feeling about killing a monster that had the decency to not attack. The fact that every other hag raven just starts attacking me makes me instantly like her more. Almost makes me forgive her for eating people. Almost.
Hroggar: F tier
The video doesnt seem that confident in this one. I think breaking the spell is the way to go especially since that is an option.
Markarth Cannibals: S tier
Yeah these guys are just awful. All of them are pure evil.
Jaree-Ra and Deeja: S tier
this one is almost cheating because you can get a free kill for defending yourself.
Dark brotherhood contracts: most are F tier hern is S
Yeah, its good for gameplay reasons, but going off of pure morality, the dark brotherhood is the baddies. The windhelm one with the shatter shields is a crushingly sad tale. Probably the most immoral killing on this list.
The dark brotherhood members: S tier
The dark brotherhood is the baddies.
Boethea's sacrifice: ? tier
Kind of irrellivant to this comment because Im just talking about the ethics and it could be anybody
Do the most logical options for Boethiah’s Proving and explain how Erik the Slayer could be the canon choice.
Erik the Slayer is based off of a real life Bethesda fan named Erik West who died of cancer before Skyrim released
I like how Skyrim is over 7 years old yet still has a big enough fan base to make a video as simple as this 😂
It's more than a decade at this point lol! 12 whole years of skyrim
Also, he can't be a friend to the dragon born
NGL Chat, Alva Vamp rizzed me tf up with those milkers, deadass.
Oh man, 1:28 killed me 😂
I always use Lydia (the worst follower) and the necromancer standing stone to level the blade up
pro tip, help Sindig against the hunters and get the uncursed ring, then go back and slaughter him with the Blade for the Savior's Hide. Win/win, your Ebony Blade got a bit stronger and you scammed another Daedric Prince out of 2 artifacts. It doesn't get more decietful than that.
Great and well thought out video! :D
Thank god I’ll no longer regret accidentally choosing sven in my first play through, so I can kill him with this method
My answer Kill some bandits get the ritual stone res then kill them (bc you summoned them they are an ally) then get the upgrades
If you kill Waylon before he kills Margret she will give you a necklace but it doesn’t give you another speech option when Eltrys gives you the note
Fun fact: you don't need kill all of them. Just play served Cold Quest where at Ash Citadel you can Kill Tirrisu & Milli (the Betrayal) + Ritual Stone
I need to know the source for the picture at 0:41 for... research purposes.
MarHor on Reddit. They were going to do all seventeen Daedric Princes, but I think just ended with this one, sadly, as I want Clavicus Vile.
gross what the fuck
As i said about who to sacrifice to Boethiah , i often choose Erandur the so called priest of Mara
Erandur denounced his past. He is a good person.
@@StarlightEdith For me he is still a traitor to the reclamation. First follower of Vaermina then to Mara Ni excuses for a zealot dunmer 😈
Just use Narfi the beggar after finishing his fetch quest.
Make sure you have the Dead Thrall spell to raise him back 10 times for the charge to full
Madanach can also be killed if you side with him in the forsworn conspiracy, so he and thonor are interchangeable.
I take this sword, and other evil items, to the Pilgrim's Trench and leave them in a chest in the shipwreck at the bottom of the sea.
(while trying not to decapitate him.)
Step 4: ...
Win win?
Kill him after causing his depression to be unrecoverable .. crazy
Neloth calling Ondolemar an arrogant bastard is hilariously ironic. Neloth is just another high and mighty elf that needs a good chop from Wuuthrad after the dragon born is done using him. Tragic that he’s essential but luckily mods can fix that problem.
