That's just insane. Please upload it to spotify, holy shit I need this interpretation in my Liszt playliszt🔥 But may I ask what happened to the cadenza at 5:10? Anyways, unbelievable performance. Bravo 🙏🏻🔥
Thank you so much for sharing your supreme performance!! I was truly glad to listen to one of Liszt's 4 hand-devastating spanish pieces 1. Rondeau fantastique sur un thème espagnol: "El Contrabandista" S.252 2. Grosse Konzertfantasie über spanische Weisen, S.253 (which you already nailed it right above) 3. Rhapsodie espagnole, S.254 (fairly famous piece) 4. Romancero espagnol, S.695c (one of my lifelong wishes is to hear this piece live)
what an amazing performance, nothing to criticise… of course i’m not some professor, but i just can’t think of specific things that i would have done differently, if i were able pull off such a piece, which i will never be… sadly just one thing that could be discussed is the instrument. i think the old stein way has it’s own charm, but a bosendorfer imperial would match the playful but majestic style of this piece even better i think (just my personal opinion)
@@iscandypiano in my honest opinion, anyone getting to a level close to LDF itself is already an incredible feats. I prefer LDF but i still like your interpretation too

My bruh, amazing as always. I will only criticize the fact that you forget to tag Maestro Bonsai Enthusiasts after this record. How could you forget ? 😂😂😂

I'm so glad this piece is getting more attention. This is definitely one of the best renditions I've heard of this terrifying piece, bravissimo!
This piece is peak Liszt. Technical, musical, brilliant. One of my all-time favorite pieces he ever wrote.
Incredible performance. The adjusting of glasses during the performance is also badass

Liszt's transcription of Beethoven's 9th is harder than this, but this is an excellent performance!
