When you can DIY, you can be very self-sufficient. The amount of money you save on hours of labor fees is substantial. The knowledge you learn is the best part. Also, if you do it yourself, you know it will be done right, as best you can do. Of course some things I still hire out. I'm not about to roof my house, lol. But, I will roof a storage shed. I love finding channels like this.

    Hey Wayne,
Big fan. Only watch 2 of your videos including this but I checked out your webpage, has a lot of interesting stuff. I find people our generation don't learn to do stuff themselves. I want to be more hands on and do more around the house and you've really inspired me to get going on that. I'll be watching your videos and the ones on your page in the upcoming future! Keep it up!

Oh your mother must have been so proud of you. That's wonderful that you took it upon yourself to help her out. Also love hearing the kitty in the background.

Hello Nicki, Thank you for the very kind words. I did and still do help my Mom all I can. The Kitty in the background is Bella. I also have another and his name is Tater. Tater does not talk much unless he is hungry. Thank you for visiting and have a great day.

@@DIYwithWayne that's wonderful, she raised a good man, just like my mother in law whom I love very much for single handedly raising a wonderful man. I wish your mom good health and a long life. Give the kitties a hug for me. I love them.
