I really love how straight forward you are. I feel like I’ve gotten the basics in my brain very well by following along with the book and videos. Can’t wait until the second book comes in today! Thank you.
I started Saturn dasha in 2020 and Saturn rules my 7th, 8th and my Saturn is in the 9th conjunct the sun and mars kinda its 15 degrees away. It’s crazy how every single topic has transforming. I have a better relationship with my father after fighting and hating each other most of my life, my partner moved back to their home country leaving my son and me behind, and I got really into astrology and researching religions like it’s my second job. And I didn’t come to astrology because my life was rainbows and butterflies 😂 I didn’t appreciate the struggle at first but it has made me develop more as a person and find things I enjoy besides serving my partner. Plus I was always confused with my Venus conjunct ketu because love was everything to me at one point. But my Saturn dasha has made me realize it’s not. And I’m am so grateful now. Saturn has taught me so much and appreciate it. But what I find the most interesting is my mom had a hip replacement at the start of the dasha and I helped her through it. 6th from the 4th is the 9th house where my and her Saturn is. Would that indicate mother’s health? And in transit my 11th lord was over my Saturn in the 9th and that would technically be my moms 8th lord in my chart. But. I don’t have a birth time for my mom. But it’s nice I can see by looking at my chart. I tried looking at the d12 but not didnt see anything that stood out. But yeah. Interesting
Ryan, I really enjoyed this segment probably because of the way you teach. I seemed to have understood this somewhat. You started out saying there are 3 things we have to consider about dashas and transits. 1) transits activate the dasha and the rest of the lesson was you were expanding on this topic. What are the other two things to be considered? Did I miss something?
+Rajni Vaidyaraj You look at what is activated by dasha. You look at what is happening by transits. You have to look at the position of planets activated from the ascendant or house in question, both by dasha and by transit. Then look through the vargas for activated confluence. We go into this in more detail in this course... ashevillevedicastrology.wordpress.com/asheville-vedic-astrology-academy/astrology-principles-i-planetary-strengths-weaknesses-qualities-and-energies/astrological-principles-ii-cusps-rashis-dashas-and-transits/ and in this course.. ashevillevedicastrology.wordpress.com/asheville-vedic-astrology-academy/dashaclass/
Yes. Experimenting with some different placements. Turns out my computer fan gets really loud when I use the video recording software. I'll probably get back to my original back ground in a bit.

So if dasha is of a well placed 10th lord and Sat-jup are transiting 8th house which is weak in chart then how do you combine that?
Hi Ryan if transit planets pass over antardasha Lord what will be impact vis a vis mahadasha lord
thank you
