Yes, yes, yes ...I do agree, Jerry's drums sound very good no doubt...I'm still blown away by the cover song 21 century schizoid man...damn note for note..nothing is missing , I'm as amazed now just like I was at 20-21 hearing it for the first time, crazy they, the band never really could break it over here, like THIN LIZZY..THE BABY'S...makes you wonder how can such great bands can really ...never make it ..? I mean MAKE IT...all those bands were incredibly full of talent..I will never quite understand how that works?
Such a shame that Le Studio fell out of vogue and was damaged by arson in 2017 and later demolished. A lot of great bands lived and recorded there. RIP Myles, I was a fan for nearly 50 years. You rock!
This is my dads favorite band of all time! I'm 34yrs old and it's one of my favorites too. Every time I hear them, I am reminded of my dad and I jamming out to them in his truck as a kid. RIP Myles ❤
I have met so many people, real Rock fans that have never heard of April Wine, also some that never heard of Thin Lizzy. Both great bands that did not get enough credit.
I love Canadian rock and roll It kick some serious ass April Wine Triumph Rush absolutely the best a National Treasure Canadian rockers you should be proud rock on Canada
Without a doubt, this is one of the best tracks from Harder Faster. From where I sit, maybe the best track from that album. Sounds so much like the Electric Jewels Album.
Well, a lot of people who are "cool and young" now will be wishing they were "old" soon when this is still being lsitened to in thirty years. When Internet will be "old" LOL
One song with three guitar solos by three different guys. Jerry's snare sound punches through with every hit. I'd forgotten how much I loved this tune. It just rocks from beginning to end.
Well i think everyone does agree on this particular tune, this song is the secret .....love this tune and always have, one of the very best albums of all time ....if you dont get on with this its simply because you have noSOUL or EAR'S.....
Lady's 😛Man... R.I.P🤍❤ Myles Goodwyn April Wine is Totally My #1 Favorite Canadian🎸 Band Straight Up!!! Loveeee this Song! Lady's 🎼Man Song🎼 Reminds Me of a Guy😉 I Won't Name!😂
Sorry to hear about your brother their chief, seriously from someone that really has a heart and cares....and damn did we all come up at the right time, the perfect time in history to come up with the most crazy awesome music ever...I missed this great band, loved these guys, but I have been blessed to have seen some of the greatest shows ever, too many too even start naming ? People ask me which is the greatest show I've seen? I could name several, I was extremely lucky , damn have I seen the best of the best starting in 71 at age 11 with SLY and THE FAMILY STONE to ...the last concert I've seen and can't believe it's been since 2016..was ATLANTA RHYTHM SECTION....FIREFALL and LITTLE RIVER BAND, .....and STOP there...LITTLE RIVER BAND blew me away, one original member, had no damn idea they would be that damn great, no kidding they were amazing..and all the other groups between 71-2016...please...I will say some that really stand out were GENESIS on the AND THEN THERE WERE THREE tour78...ELP...77-86...ELP IS by far my favorite band PERIOD, hands down....YES, JETHRO TULL, KANSAS on the POINT OF KNOW RETURN tour and MONOLITH......those were on another level, like watching a concert in HEAVEN...CHEAP TRICK opening for ROBERT PLANT in 87 in COLUMBIA, S.C....both bands threw down....and so so many more, and i will mention one more that i knew when i was watching it i was seeing something so special that would never be again, almost teary eyed thinking about it.... NEW YEARS EVE...88..at a small club here in AUGUSTA, GA....STEVE MORSE opened for TOY CALDWELL, not with a band, alone....hometown boy and I think we all know about Steve...then TOY came on ....I think most of us here know about TOY.....at midnite Steve came back on and him and TOY played so many TUCKER classics...anyway i said to myself that night i knew i was seeing something so special that would never be again.....TOY died in 92
Don't it crack you up when they call this Heavy Metal. April Wine and Triumph are not Heavy Metal bands, those are for example Slayer, Slipknot, Megadeath and so on, anything that has all of that gut wrenching screaming crap.
This got airplay in the US, at least in Seattle. The band were surprised when they announced the song in concert here and the people all cheered, as I guess they weren't told that the song was getting played on KISW.
Must have put the mix with the video unless someone is off camera doing that scream, that I believe is Myles at 1:26. Amazing does anyone know if Le Studio is a museum now saw a video of it vacant! It should be!
Sadly Le Studio was destroyed in a fire, studio was used by Rush,David Bowie,Chicago and Sting in its popular times, was known to be very well liked by many artist.
@You Tubergood to know,i read a story in the CBC that said it had burned down, guess that there is no chance someone would put some bucks into bringing it back......
Thats a playback, not a live performance, but that does not matter because April Wine is amazing! One of the finests bands from Canada, a country full of great rock bands! *
No it's not Le Studio Morin-Heights is still standing and very solid,The news media made a huge mistake,Yes 1/2 the building was burnt down to the ground but the main building the audio part was saved by a Double brick wall and the firemen www.souvenirsoflestudio.com
This is one of the coolest bands not born here in America. Scorpions are pissed. Ha I have seen a show where AW opened for Scorpions. A thousand years ago. It was good.
I like this band better than Rush. Rush is more of a musicians band. My son plays and so appreciates Rush talent. I don't play but All females love April Wine
With the exceptions of ZZ Top & Van Halen...nobody does boogie better than these guys! RIP Myles...you're one of the all time greats!
Damn Myles single coils on that Strat are really cutting through so well, amazing! RIP Myles, you'll be missed for sure. One of a kind!
I used to drive around in my 76 Trans Am and rock out to April Wine.... love that shit!!
Me too and a case of beer in the back.
Did the same in my 79 camaro

Yes, yes, yes ...I do agree, Jerry's drums sound very good no doubt...I'm still blown away by the cover song 21 century schizoid man...damn note for note..nothing is missing , I'm as amazed now just like I was at 20-21 hearing it for the first time, crazy they, the band never really could break it over here, like THIN LIZZY..THE BABY'S...makes you wonder how can such great bands can really ...never make it ..? Such a shame that Le Studio fell out of vogue and was damaged by arson in 2017 and later demolished. A lot of great bands lived and recorded there.

Rocking the bollocks off the old place......!

The singer in this video looks just like Bobby Blitz from Overkill? Anyhow, bad ass music from a legendary time never to be repeated.
Myles Goodwyn 🎤

@You Tubergood to know,i read a story in the CBC that said it had burned down, guess that there is no chance someone would put some bucks into bringing it back......
This must be a backing track and he might be singing some vocals I see Brian Greenway not singing some back up parts at times though.
Love em
nice
Rush recorded a lot of songs at Le Studio before it ultimately burned down some years later.
