Or have we just blindly accepted what we have been taught over the years based on the interpretations of man's views of the scriptures that have been passed down through the generations? I live in a nursing home and am the only messanic here. So here I worship and keep the holidays. On Purim we had a brunch and I taught the story of Purim by using puppets I made. And Sukkott I had the maintenance man hang up a canopy for me and decorated with lots of homemade things I made including a paperchain to remind all of God breaking the chain of bondage. This year I'm making music notes black construction paper and paperdolls to show how we should all love each other. And of course lots of harvest times stuff. Thanksgiving decorations work great. Last year a Aid who works here made me a shag of autumn lights with lots of flowers. Love how this nursing home helps me keep our Holidays even if I am the only one. What a great witnessing tool.

THE CHRISTIAN LIVES BY THE LAW OF CHRIST (Law of the Spirit) - We are not under the Mosaic Covenant; therefore, we are not obligated to keep the laws of the Mosaic Covenant. Insofar as we love God and love our neighbor, we keep the law of God in the New Covenant. We uphold the law by faith (Romans 3:31) and by love (Romans 13:8). We are under the Law of Christ (Galatians 6:2) and the Law of the Spirit of Life (Romans 8:2). There is confusion with the Law of Christ and the Law of Moses because they have similar commandments. But, because nine of the Ten Commandments can be found in the New Testament, it does not mean that the Law of Moses is still in effect. If a Christian steals, they break the law of Christ, not the Law of Moses. If we choose to keep part of the law (for example, dietary laws), we are free to do so, but keeping the Law of Moses is neither commanded or expected. To keep part of the Mosaic Law out of the belief that we are obligated to do so is to not have trust in the perfect and complete work of Christ.

@@andrewmartsch Certainly Jesus kept the Sabbath. He lived under the Law Moses. "But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law" (Galatians 4:4). As an observant Jew, Jesus was circumcised (Luke 2:21.) He kept the Passover (Luke 22:15). There is no mention of his observing the Sabbath after his resurrection, even though he remained on the earth for some 40 days. That would include at least five Sabbath days.
The reason we find no further observance of the Sabbath is seen in the fact that the Sabbath and other Old Testament observances were abolished at the death of Christ. "When you were dead in your transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven us all our transgressions, having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. When He had disarmed the rulers and authorities, He made a public display of them, having triumphed over them through Him. Therefore no one is to act as your judge in regard to food or drink or in respect to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath day-things which are a mere shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ" (Colossians 2:13-17).

My very first Sabbath and already have been placed in a shopping situation with my Adult Granddaughter. I've given in to her on different things, yet when she says "Gran, you've been non practicing for 65 years, I'm sure Yahway isn't going to have an issue for a couple more days". I tried to tell her that now I'm aware, I have knowledge of the difference now, so if I just give in to another's pressure that easy, what does God really mean to me? I Love God, I respect God, I'm not willing to budge on this....even to make her "christmas" shopping easier for her. Yes, many will not understand, yet they have emulated most of my behaviors in learning and standing strong when my Beliefs of anything have been challenged. I Pray they will find that this is important to my very life. Thank You All for walking this walk, and generously teaching me and others about Truth, and Sacrifice. Oh, been off of pork and Shellfish for many months now. Yeshua is so worthy of much more than I can do to Worship Him! Shalom...
Respect! When I gently confronted my own mother about Sabbath and other such things her reply was that even though she saw the scripture, she had done it all her life and was unwilling to change. I pray I don't live long enough to think I can't conform my life to God's word.
Stand strong on His foundation, Yah will use it to draw others. I'm in the same situation❤

I'm born again Christian, I've been studying for my own about the 10 commandments and others written in the Tanakh.God opened my eyes. God is always the same, he cannot change something he did made perfect by him.
Amen...an important note to keep in mind is that Saul/Paul did not counter God’s Torah. The Bereans and The Sanhedrin in Jerusalem proved him out through the Torah. It turns out that early converts walked away from all things Jewish and did exactly as Peter warned: twisting Paul’s writings...🙏
Paul didn't teach Torah-lessness (Lawlessness) according to Acts 21:20-24, Acts 24:5, 10, 14, 1 Tim. 6:3-5, as well as all the places he says he's going to keep different Feast Days.
Like when he urges the hearer to keep Pesach (Passover), in 1 Cor. 5:7-8.
I try to share these Truths with friends and family, but they mostly reject it, clinging to their pagan christian mixture...

I'm so so happy for you, I've often found that people simply follow church traditions, not realising that some of these are traditions of man, which Jesus warns about in Mark 7; and we continue to follow it because it makes us comfortable. It saddens me when some Christians argue about things they haven't even studied. The Bible's sometimes like a puzzle- two colours schemes have to fit together, but it's not always obvious

Sunday gathering were started in the upper room Resurrection Sunday then next gathering commanded by JESUS in Galilee where Thomas worshiped his LORD and GOD. The next recorded gathering was Pentecost 1st day. Paul would gather and break bread on the 1st day. The early Church always gathered on the 1st day. JESUS started the tradition and it remains unbroken for 1991 years today. Mk. 7 JESUS is confronting sabbath keeping Pharisee like yourself.

No one truly keeps the seventh day you have to go in the Bible to find out how to truly keep the seventh day our worship on Sunday but people that say Saturday is the seventh day they don't even keep it if you don't keep the seventh day it wasn't a day of worship it was a day of rest you are not to leave your house or take too many steps outside your house and pick up in your fire so nobody really keeps us 7th you're not allowed to do anything on the seventh day outside your house

for some of us, our entire belief is built based upon what a man or a woman taught us for ages, without personally and spiritually searching the scriptures with a hunger and desire to know the truth. But I pray we all begin to hunger not for traditions but for TRUTH.
Yah blessed me with a job, had to work some hours Friday nights but I worked hard amd was able to get my time adjusted twice. Now im off every Friday by 415 and i don't have to worry. I dont do the easy Saturday overtime though, and anything that's mandatory has been made known my beliefs and I am blessed they honor that. Open up Sunday overtime? I'm there

when i first started keeping Sabbath my children were young and we: had bible study, colored, hiked to a glacier, played at a public park, sang hymns, fed ducks at the park, watched movies on bible stories, visited family and friends and enjoyed the day. now that they are grown i attend online congregation, read bible, listen to praise music, visit family and friends (with coffee!) and play with grandchildren! it is a process of growing, learning what can and does bring glory to our Creator!

Julie Rodriguez, FYI you're just blindly follow a teacher but you're to test his teaching whether it aligned with Scripture. Apparently, it contradicted Scripture as Christians in Rom7:4-6 were dead to the law of the letter and we're now resurrected in Christ to follow the law of the Spirit who gives us eternal life. Paul in 1Cor9:21 confirmed the he is under the Law of Christ thus he can't be under the Law of Moses inclusive the ten commandments with its Sabbath law, at the same time. Further in Mat5:17 Jesus fulfilled ALL the law perfectly thus since the ten commandments with its Sabbath law is part of the Law of Moses, thus all of them has become obsolete. Are you a NT believer? If you are then you are under the new covenant of God. In case you’re unaware the ten commandments which originated from the Mosaic or old covenant which God made through Moses for ONLY the children of Israel.
But we the NT believers are under the new covenant thus we don’t follow the Mosaic or Old covenant of which the Ten commandments is a part of. (Jer31:32; Heb8:13).
Further, the correct answer is that it's because it is impossible for any human being (besides Jesus) to perfectly obey the Ten commandments…. The Hebrews were given a lot of rules and laws, the Ten Commandments began a whole slew of them. There are 613 laws in the Old Testament, Christ fulfilled them all.
These laws said to have been given to Moses are not the laws a Christian is under. They are part of the contract (covenant) God made with the tribes of Israel Paul said if you are under the Law, you are under the curse. The prior covenant contained blessings for obediance and cursing for disobedience. By their own record, Israel was disobedient and were cursed into exiles.

We don't keep the TORAH to be saved, we keep the TORAH because we have been saved; we keep the TORAH because we love GOD. There's no provision in the LAW for justification, the LAW does not, cannot justify. The purpose of the LAW/TORAH is to identify sin, it points to what sin is. They are actually wrong as if you look in the New Testament you see Sunday Worship If you look at contemporary writing from Justin Martyr etc (8 at least ) you see early Christians worshiping only on Sunday. Some years ago the Lord Jesus said, "Go to the phone book and call Adventist churches" because He said "no one was reaching out to them." I said, "They're good people." Then He said, "They believe lies." My response was that they say that God answers prayer on their television and radio programs. He said, "They deceive themselves."
It seems that they are convinced Ellen White was a prophet and that her claims are true. People have placed her words above Scripture, and basically idolize the sabbath day. False doctrines are lies and you know that heresy is a work of the flesh as declared in Galatians chapter 5. Heretics do not inherit the kingdom of God. So this is a serious matter. Adventists believe the Sabbath (going to church on Saturday) is binding from Ellen White because the Lord Jesus did not command it. God wrote with his finger, but "Has in these last days spoken unto us by his Son (Hebrews 1:2)." There is liberty in Christ concerning days according to Romans 14:5,6, so there's no sabbath or Sunday keeping commandments given in the New Testament. Therefore, the Sunday law mark of the beast is a hoax. Ellen White has her followers trying to earn points with God keeping the sabbath, but "by the deeds of the law no flesh shall be justified in his sight (Romans 3:20)." The 10 commandments are "the ministration of DEATH ENGRAVED IN STONES (2 Corinthians 3:7). Love is the heart of the moral law, not the sabbath day:"Love worketh no ill to his neighbor, therefore love is THE FULFILLING OF THE LAW (Romans 13:10)." The two great commandments also demonstrate this fact.
The Sabbath commandment is nowhere quoted in the New Testament. The sabbath keeping "Jews both killed the Lord Jesus and their own prophets...they please not God, and are contrary to all men...for the wrath is come upon them to the uttermost (1Thessalonians 2:14-16)." In Acts they murdered Stephen and stoned Paul.
The sabbath was a sign ONLY to Israel (Exodus 31:17) and therefore has nothing to do with the gospel and the gentiles. Jesus is the reality of things foreshadowed in the Old Testament, of which the Sabbath day was one as Colossians 2:16, 17 declares: the Sabbath was a shadow that pointed to Christ who is the fulfillment. This fact is clearly demonstrated in the book of Numbers 28:9, 10 where two lambs were offered ceremonially on the sabbath day which looked forward to the sacrifice of Christ. The Old Testament sacrifices, the priesthood and the Sabbath were abolished and Jesus became our rest. As Lord of rest, we just follow him.. He is "the author of eternal salvation unto all them that OBEY HIM (Hebrews 5:9)." We are to rest in His merits and the promises of God for we "are complete in him (Colossians 2:10)" and "...By grace are ye saved through faith... not of works lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto GOOD WORKS...(Ephesians 2:8-10)." Therefore,
the rest of faith in Hebrews 4 is not the Sabbath day. It is exactly that - a rest of FAITH, not a day of the week. Judaizers are accursed for pulling Christians back into the Old Testament obsolete Jewish system(see Galatians 1:6-9). His sheep hear his voice and a stranger they will not follow(John 10).
Paul went into the synagogues on the Sabbath in the book of Acts to preach to the Jews and their gentile converts as noted in Acts 13. The unbelieving Jews persecuted the apostles, therefore these were not believer's meetings, nor was the apostle Paul keeping the Sabbath. On the contrary, the believers met on the first day of the week - the day of the resurrection as seen in 1 Corinthians 16:2 and Acts 20:7. Therefore, going to church on the first day of the week is not taking the mark of the beast. Christians were meeting on that day long before the papacy came around to falsely claim they changed the sabbath day. Furthermore, Catholics can meet for church on Saturday as well as Sunday. Ellen White invented the idea that Sunday church attendance is taking the mark of the beast, therefore it is dangerous to trust your eternal destiny on her "revelations." It looks like the mark of the beast is going to be a digital tattoo or a microchip implant. Adventists looking for Sunday laws or believe in a Sunday mark will doom themselves should they take the real mark.
Soul sleeping is a false doctrine. Jesus "brought life and immortality to light through the gospel(2 Tim. 1:10)." Therefore there's life immediately after death in which consciousness survives death. Jesus said that believers are passed from death unto life. Eternal life begins now in this life upon experiencing the new birth. New Testament examples are: When Jesus was transfigured before Peter, James and John, "there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him(Matthew 17:3)." The rich man and Lazarus were alive after death. Jesus said that the believing thief on the cross would go to paradise the day he died. Stephen the first martyr when about to die said, "Lord Jesus, receive my spirit(Acts 7:59)." Hebrews 12:22-24 tells us who are in heaven, including the spirits of just men made perfect, that is, the disembodied believers from earth. This is also taught in 1 Thessalonians 4:14: "...them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him."Therefore, Jesus is coming with his saints who are
ALIVE and NOT ASLEEP. According to 2 Corinthians 5:6-9, to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Since there is no soul sleeping in Christ, the bodies of believers will be resurrected at the coming of the Lord. Furthermore, in the book of Revelation there are 24 elders seen in heaven as well as other men as noted in chapter 15 verse 8.
Concerning the no meat eating doctrine: It is "giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils forbidding to abstain from meats. (1Timothy 4:1,3)". Jesus ate fish and lamb.The early church Christians were told regarding food to "abstain from things strangled and from blood (Acts 15:20)."Jesus said, "Eat what's set before you, and it's not what goes into the mouth that defiles a man, but what's in the heart;" and did not quote Mosaic dietary laws.
Jesus taught an endless hell "where the fire is not quenched and the worm dieth not", but Ellen White taught annihilation or no hell instead. Consciousness survives death. It's safe to only follow the Lord...His sheep "know his voice and a stranger they will not follow (John 10:4, 5)."
The investigative judgment is nowhere taught in scripture. She made it up after the Second Coming did not take place in 1843. This is another made up heresy invented by Ellen White.
The U.S. in prophecy is the great eagle in Revelation 12:14, not the second beast of Revelation chapter 13.
According to someone's testimony, they saw in hell the prophetess Ellen White in hell. Jesus said she is in this place for inventing heresies. She prophesied lies and still had connections with the satanists who helped [her] ministry grow. She also taught [her] members to keep the Sabbath stepping on My grace. Whoever wants to live in the law will have to never sinned. Whoever chooses to live in the law will have to save himself from it without committing any sin like Me. All the sects that reject My grace stare down the contract of the New Covenant. Whoever lives in the contract of the Old Covenant will be cursed and go to hell. Jesus said, "This woman Ellen White lied saying, 'There is no hell.' " She taught people hell does not exist, but when she died she landed in hell. Now she is in it and I saw how the demons tormented that woman. The more souls went down to hell because of her teaching, the more she was tormented. From the foundation of her sect until now, millions of souls are now coming to hell. Jesus said,"Testify most of its souls may come to salvation and ascend into heaven."

It is a gift given to all generations and it is the fourth of the Ten Commandments. "Obeying The Law is the fruit of your salvation. The fruit of our salvation is CHRIST Rest in love.
Our New Everlasting Covenant with the many is a covenant of love and Resurrection. The Mosaic Covenant offered no salvation, no resurrection. Mosaic fruit was only prolonged stay in the land, rain blessing and divine protection. It also came with curses being exile from the land, sword, famine and pestilence.

HE came to fulfill, did you read that part? If HE said that's what came to do my faith believe the Law and what the prophets said about his coming are fulfilled. JESUS at the moment of death said "IT IS FINISHED" the Mosaic Covenant ended by a perfect life lived and atonment of the LAW. This includes the 10 as it was written for a covenant between the Children of Israel and GOD. My covenant is with the many people, tongues nations and kings confirmed Resurrection Sunday with the sure mercies of David; Isa. 55:1-3, Ps. 16:10, Acts 13:34, Dan. 9:27.

Are the apostles keeping sabbath law in Matthew 12:1? Why did JESUS defend them when the law said have them stoned. Why pick up your mat and move all your belongings on the sabbath? Why is going to Synagogue on the 7th day a custom not a law for JESUS in Lk. 4:16?
From the time eight plus years ago when He opened my eyes to His Shabbat, He has also made the way clear for me to keep it. That involved some major life changes, but it all has been a wonderful blessing and faith building experience. I wouldn’t return to my old life for anything in the world. Great teaching on a most important subject. More than any other, I think our desire to obey the fourth commandment shows just how serious we are about being His bride.
My greatest challenge is that I raise flocks and herds of animals that would give me no Shalom on Shabbat if I didn’t feed or water them.

My second week just passed discovering this amazing new journey. For many years I was in a charismatic church, always feeling that we should keep the Sabbath. I am so excited, and just received my Bible with Elohim's correct names (which I wanted to start my journey as if I have just become reborn). Have had my first Sabbath last Saturday but was not 100% prepared, haha! This week I will know better on how to plan properly. When my wife and I began keeping all ten of the commandments psalms 111: 7,8,10. we lived 250 miles from the nearest town where we could find a church that still kept all of God’s ten commandments. We use to travel 250 miles one way to go to church. To have God’s affirmation what worth it all. We never missed a church service since, but for during our vacations.
I thank you with my whole heart. Holy Spirit guides us into all truths. God is so beautiful and Good and loving. I thank God everyday for never giving up on his children,but we do have to be obedient always,as best as we can,by staying in the word directed by Holy Spirit

The disciples were caught breaking Moses' Holy Sabbath day commandment law ... by picking and eating food on the Holy Sabbath day.
Jesus defended His disciples for breaking the Holy Sabbath day commandment law by reminding the Pharisees of how David broke the levitical priesthood law by eating the shew bread in the temple.
So does that mean that 2 wrongs make a right? Not at all!

Remember ... this was and is "last days" prophecy.

Moses was a Levite! The same tribe that Jacob/Israel warned his progeny to stay away from their assemblies.
400 years later ... a murderous Moses and Aaron (along with Moses' Moabitish high priest father-in-law and councilor Jethro) ... created the laws and murders of the old covenant.
I do appreciate that you did not writhe and shout ... and deny that the disciples broke the 4th Holy Sabbath day commandment ... nor that Jesus Christ defended them in their iniquity of the old covenant of Moses.
Soon Moses' seat will be turned over ... due too ... not just "public opinion" (which the judahized lawyers love to gather) but rather "public fact" because no one will need to say "know the Lord" ... for they will know ... just as it is written in the new and better covenant.
If you know the Bible ... then you know that everything that I stated is from the Bible and accurate.
Think about this ... Jesus Christ questions the validity of the 4th commandment ... a law of Moses that was quite literally one of the most important ... it was a "everlasting covenant between God and man".

Do you not recall that "the law and the prophets were until John the Baptist"? And "since that time the kingdom of heaven is preached".

I am a Torah keeper observing Shabbat .
Since last year, January 2021 we now celebrate Shabbat and the Biblical Feasts. I notice that Sunday was an emptiness and had no meaning at all. The Shabbat when you celebrate it, you notice it and feel it, the warmth and love around you from the Lord! You feel the blessing and that the Shabbat is holy. Shabbat has many meanings and is deep, Sunday does not have that at all and is rather boring. The whole week we look forward to it, to Shabbat and look forward again to Sukkot in our Sukka! I noticed especially in the beginning when we started celebrating Shabbat, that I was 'attacked' with thoughts of returning to Sunday or even worse both going to do just what is convenient, I knew and had I figured out who gave me these thoughts/ lie and persevered and sent this demon away in the name of Yeshua. Now for a good while rest, real rest on Shabbat. My family and I enjoy Shabbat, we have much to learn and it is a blessed and beautiful journey of discovery with the Holy Spirit.

The video shows modern day Pharisees more concerned with the letter of the Law than the spirit. They are actually wrong as if you look in the New Testament you see Sunday Worship If you look at contemporary writing from Justin Martyr etc (8 at least ) you see early Christians worshiping only on Sunday. Jesus Christ is the Way the Truth and the Life Worship him alone in HIS Catholic Church

I truly appreciate and enjoyed this message, especially since I am a Sabbath keeper as well. Psalms 27 is one of my favorites. I learned it at the age of 9 years, and quickly realized that there is no verse 17. I am sure that it was an innocent mistake which can be easily corrected.
