Possum kingdom is normally super clear. All the rain we had flooded the Brazos river and all the dirt washed into PK. PK is my fav lake, been going down there since i was a whipper

All our rain has turned beautiful, clear PK into chocolate milk, just like every other lake in north texas.

Man I can’t even believe how dirty PK was! That lake is usually as clean as some of the California highland lakes you fish. Was exciting event to watch on Tourney X. Can’t wait to see the tournament video’s. I won’t spoil the outcome for anyone who doesn’t know what happened.

I sat in my truck for nearly 5 hours. . I went to a different launch that day and caught over 20 striper 16-22", and 10 white bass 12-16". All were a blast to catch. Nice to see you there. It was a flop for me too. Mud ruined my bite for sure.

Greg...best arsenal to win the tournament is had faith and you will win, bro. That's all I do when I went against over 900 other competitors for the National Catfish Derby Championship in Clear lake in 2018. Took home the trophy on a 14 ft aluminum boat.

Use a Spinnerbait with Colorado Blades no trailer, just the skirt. A chatterbait works good too. Something that gives vibration in water that muddy. Also if you find some reeds pitch in those, to the middle or back of them.

Awesome job bro I found an area around launch #4 that in my opinion had the winning fish I finished 11th and made 4 mistakes in the tournament that cost me top 3 I promise you!! I wound up with 175 inches not bad for a jersey boy lol but I lost 4 giant fish at the boat 1 on day one and 3 on day two but that's why they call it fishing and not catching keep up the great work I have only been kayak fishing 2yrs and watching your vids have helped me a lot so thanks for the great vids and info you have helped me in many ways to become a better kayak bass fisherman!!

Greg check water temps. I notice the over cast fish near bank. Sunny nex day water mite warm up so fish little dip I think. And big spoon up and then let go down. C if works. Silver color. Ok.😊

Hey Greg, with water that stained I'm thinking you need to stick with the really noisy stuff like plugs with a lot of rattle or chatter baits and the obvious dark colors with bright colored highlights. When you have high water creeks it has been my experience that fish sometimes congregate near that inflow of water picking up what ever gets washed into the lake. it looks like you have a foot or two of visibility so it's always fun to fish in the chocolate milk. Welcome back to TX! I don't say that many times to CA plates lol. Been a while since stopping by here but nice to see you're still doing your thing! Seems all the rain lately still has the water muddy:( I have a few day trip in that area soon so hopefully that changes. 💖 your garage still - best of luck with the tournament! Wish our bass were as aggressive! As muddy as the water is, I prefer it over the Toxic Avenger pond scum of Clear Lake. One year it was so bad that you could hear it crunch as the boat was launched - eek!

do the texas rig, put a bead on the line between the weight and hook for extra noise, try some pop-r's, maybe a spook.
muddy water is the hardest to fish, you have to be so methodical in everything that you do, it takes forever it seems like to catch bass in that kind of water. good luck my friend, rip a lip.
