Greg, I got your package of baits in the mail last night! Thank you so much! I am about to go out and give them all a try, Tight lines to you. Thanks again.
Ok gotta be honest with you. You were on them and the jig was definitely on as well but seeing Alden catching them on that swim/wakebait was pretty cool. Glad to see both of you had a good day on the delta rippin lips. Tight Lines
You should do a in-depth video on jigs? You can add how to fish it, your set up, where you cast, and more information you thing is important about jigs.
Does anyone notice when WE catch fish, they hop around flip jump stick poke and make us hook ourselves with our lure. But when THEY catch fish they lay down and play dead ? I could never grab a bass above the dorsal fin. Lol 😆 🤣 I need that jig!!! Great video guys!!
Great video I liked and subscribed I’m trying to fish the delta for stripped bass..if you have any suggestions on where I can take my lil bass boat out that would be great..and do you need any steel head tags over there..thx and tight lines
Great Channel Greg!! I’m from the Bay Area so being able to tune into someone local is great!! Question on the jig and jig trailer, what weight and what length? Will definitely be grabbing some mech to support someone local, thanks for the great videos!!
I caught a state of Ohio smallmouth bass with a 1/8oz Zman micro finesse jig and it was one of those days where I got on the fall transition school of pigs and it was amazing.
I noticed the mink in the intro, I've been seeing a lot more minks around the delta over the last few years. Seen them in the San Joaquin, and the Sacramento rivers.
A few videos ago you replied to me that you've never had much luck in fall in California. How do you like it when we are having a typical climate year? I grew up in Arizona but I learned the quality of bass California has to offer. Great videos . Keep it up
Where did you put in? I know I ask this a lot, but I am trying to get more information about the delta 😀. Btw great vid, this is one of my favorite videos from your channel!
Greg is gonna keep Yamamoto baits in business all by himself! LOL!! All kidding aside, they are decent baits, and with some colors I can't find in other baits. Great vid. Thanks for posting!!
Hey Greg i was wondering what kind of clothing you wear? especially for your legs/feet. I am a kayak fisherman up in Washington so it get real cold in the morning so i was wondering if you have anything for my feel when i take my plugs out and water is in the kayak? Thank you so much!
Right on! Gotta point you to a video I did on the channel a while back showing my go to setup for that cooler weather. still wearing the same today but with upgraded/new version boundary boots! ruclips.net/video/wopEoc-6gFE/видео.html
Hey Greg you have posted the rod you use for your jig. Can you tell me what your rod set up is for throwing that big swim bait. I.E. length, power, action. Thank you sir!
For sure! Jig rod is discontinued but one that would be similar is the one I posted in the desrciption 7'6'' MH and my rod for the wade hogs is a IROD Paul Bailey SWIM rod. I throw all my big stuff on this rod and it works great!
Watching the video now. Thanks for your tips. I drop shotted all my Delta fish yesterday. Nothing bigger than a 3 lbs. one, but enough to get us into 2nd Place for a small club tournament. Thanks!!!
Greg - what weight jig? I usually start w 1/2 oz on the Delta but seem to get more bites on 3/8. Also surprised you were using a football jig (living rubber). You assemble your own?
Before I watch this, I swear, I won't go fishing immediately after (although I want to). Also, im scared when you post best jig bite after some of the videos... thumbs-up 👍
Aldie’s gotta zero that scale with the clip hanging, he got an extra couple ounces there. Still big fish and nicely done. Can’t understand why he was getting smashed on his sponge-bob-square-bill and you weren’t, Greg. Must have been the retrieve...???
Its fascinating how each of your have your preferred fishing methods. He used the same baits to win a tournament earlier this year (if I recall correctly). Its interest how certain methods are better suited for certain situations. For fun you should go out with his baits and nothing else, just to figure out this style (because when the bite gets tough you, correctly, go back to wacky worms and jig because they work). But those $100 baits up north would not last 5 minutes! The pike would backrupt you in a morning!.
It truly is! Alden caught fish on it all summer but it was Mike who absolutely wrecked the field at a tournament throwing that thing! Oh yeah, never throwing a bait over $15 back up north!lol
Just stuck my PB (Michigan) 5.3lbs on a 3/4oz jig! Happened on Friday, such a nice feeling putting the hammer down on a giant.
Tank!!!! congrats!
Where at in Michigan!?!?!?

Greg, I got your package of baits in the mail last night! Thank you so much! I am about to go out and give them all a try, Tight lines to you. Thanks again.
What is Aldens rod and reel combo he’s using... seemed really smooth... awesome videos as usual! He’s just lucky you didn’t throw a drop shot!
Ok gotta be honest with you. You were on them and the jig was definitely on as well but seeing Alden catching them on that swim/wakebait was pretty cool. Glad to see both of you had a good day on the delta rippin lips.

Alden Walden!!! Good show man!!! Great vid Greg! Thanks!!
The way you tossed the fish through the boat plug hole😂😂😂😂
It's a beautiful gig combo for sure. So good I'm placing an order TODAY.
That was a hot jig bite! It looked like a nice day, not too hot, no wind, just smoke! Enjoyed another vid, Greg, thank you!
I swear Alden is the swimbait fish whisperer.
That jig setup was sweet. Got the job done for ya. Fun video. Looking forward to upcoming videos. 🐟😊
Up early about to launch off to my second ever bass tourney.. using all the absorbed Blanchard power I will get from this video... No big deal
good luck!
Good luck
I hope you win it Abe!
Update*** 2nd place AND big bass!! 4.89 pounds!! Wooo!
Thanks Greg!!!
@@Abe_Sinclair MY MAN! Congratulations!

Nothing better than a awesome micro jig bite for smallmouth bass in the Great Miami river in Dayton Ohio 🙏💯👊💪🎣🐟
I caught a state of Ohio smallmouth bass with a 1/8oz Zman micro finesse jig and it was one of those days where I got on the fall transition school of pigs and it was amazing.
Great video. What is the actual jig you’ve been using for that setup?
Wow. That first cast and catch was cool for the wake bait
I noticed the mink in the intro, I've been seeing a lot more minks around the delta over the last few years. Seen them in the San Joaquin, and the Sacramento rivers.
Wow you caught a ton of fish that day. I'm jealous over here in NC. What type of boat is that?
Hey Greg, how about a video of the action you use for each style, Jig, punch etc!
Headed there for the first time. What dock did you launch at and what area did you guys fish?
why do you peg your jigs with a stopper? great vids 🎣
Another great video!! what color jig where u throwing. Was it green pumpkin?
Thanks man! The skirt was green pumpking with brown and red strands
What color is that jig and trailer?
greg , do you know the exact colors of the jig and soft plastic, hard to see online , colors seem off compared to video.
Quarantine savior!
Great video fellas!! Had fun watching it.
Great Video Greg As Always!! Jig Bite was definitely on 🔥🔥🔥
Watched earlier without sound as to not wake the family in bed. Here we go again. Love this channel!
Awesome day!
Sad to see though. I was gonna take my boys out but noticed my fuel line was broken free at the gas station.
Another great video🤙🤙🍻
Ah, bummer man! Next time, fish will be there waiting!
About to try Phenix rod "feather" series for spinning. Picked one up for first time other day. Great video Greg.
Nice! I love my Phenix maxim, i'm sure that rod will be killer!
@@GregBlanchardFishing I liked that Maxim too in camo . Ohmost pulled the trigger on it too. :)
Aldens 4.2 was a sick bite!!
Loving the Dobyns rods in this video!

Thanks Aaron! So far so good, I think the bite will be really good this month and early November and then I'll probably move onto the striper

@@GregBlanchardFishing thank you sir.
Just slayed the reds and black drum out in Suwannee Florida.
Where are they fishing? I know it’s the delta but where at in the delta?
I noticed you have a peg between your knot and your line on your jig, why is that? I’ve never seen that. Does it help with the weeds?
you got it! keeps the small stringy weeds from catching on the tag ends of the knot
Watching the video now. Thanks for your tips. I drop shotted all my Delta fish yesterday. Nothing bigger than a 3 lbs. one, but enough to get us into 2nd Place for a small club tournament. Thanks!!!

1/2 oz and I think you're onto something with that 3/8 oz, just didn't have on me. Nope, I don't make them.
I was just admiring Greg’s red revo x
What did u use to store the wade hog in? @7:43
Of course Aldy has the Motor Guide. I've watched him fish STANDING ON THE BOW OF A TITAN. Fucks sake. haha
Following in Greg's footsteps. Just picked up a couple packs of flappin' hogs.
she's a good trailer!
yo what boots do you own? they look very lightweight. been looking for a good pair like those
Best waterproof neoprene boots around! BOOTS - fishusa.rv5k.net/ZGkq1
I always like a sunday morning fishing video!!
I need to get me that “sponge bob square bil” 😄
Greg what length is your jig rod?
Hey Greg, if u don’t mind me asking, what size of flapping hogs do you use? The 3.75 or 4.5?
Same question, sweet vid 👍
Not at all, 3.75''!
Greg Blanchard I think Yamamoto owes u a kickback because these things are going fast. 😆
Duuuuude two of those chunks I wish you weighed just for the sake of seeing how close. Those were easily over three!
I just bought the newest version of the Phenix maxim spinning rod. Is yours a medium?
You got it
Greg was really digging his jig. Haha
😂
Aldie with the trolling motor on kayak....nice... how does he like?
He loves it, motorguide with spot lock. he was standing and casting all day while controlling it from his remote in his hand
Greg Blanchard so when are you getting one?😂😂😂
You are the Jig King 😂
Why do you put a bober stop on your jig?
Love the vids bro keep doing what you do bro❤
Thanks Aiden!
Before I watch this, I swear, I won't go fishing immediately after (although I want to). Also, im scared when you post best jig bite after some of the videos... thumbs-up 👍
🤣
What size battery and motor do you have? How long does it last aswell?
40ah and a torqeedo 403c
Any reason why the results from the Wild West over the weekend are still not up?
should be up now!
Gotta keep saying it. Big baits, big fish.
Looks like a fun day!
you got him on total weight by a mile! lol. nice vid. 👍
I never leave some love. So just here saying I enjoy watching your channel.
thanks for tuning in!
That jig does look good
2:59 idk why but every fish that’s small enough I do that to😂
Dam some one commented before me lol I was hoping to see u on the delta yesterday
Do you use a medium heavy rod for your wacky rig ?
yessir
Try the meaty chunk from berkley maxscent
How were you working the jig?
pretty slow, hop to two then cast again
Greg, challenge him to an accuracy battle. You throw on a dime man. 😁
Would love to see a big swimbait video.
Do another one of these!
For sure, just need a new challenger! lol
Greg Blanchard why you scared...
Where is the best place to launch kayaks at the delta ? Anyone, and thank you
Do you have a Fish USA discount code?
fishusa unfortunately took away discount codes, sorry Andrew
What is your scale of choice/set up?
linked in descrip!
What power action and size is the swim bait rod?
Heavy
Greg, you lied. LOL
Aldie’s gotta zero that scale with the clip hanging, he got an extra couple ounces there.
Still big fish and nicely done. Can’t understand why he was getting smashed on his sponge-bob-square-bill and you weren’t, Greg. Must have been the retrieve...???
I think it is confidence in the lure. Aldie obviously has confidence in that lure and is catching fish. I could throw it all day and never get a bite!
JD Christiansen, Greg does the same 😂 I called him out while we were on the water that day and told him I did the same so it’s an equal comparison
@@Godgiveshope Fair's fair. Convenient how he left that discussion OUT of the video, isn't it hmmmm Greg???

What is the bobber stop for?
keeps the tag ends of the knot from getting caught up on grass
Why is their a bobber stopper on the jig?
