I’m glad you didn’t take that casting mishap and cut it out of the video… I was power casting a pre-rigged mag draft and grabbed one of my rods with the treble and threw it about 100 feet into the lake. I happen to be right in front of a family swimming near their dock… It was worth a laugh for all of us, and I smoothly reeled my rod back in to the boat 😂

But they sense the water coming in mixing things up. I caught a nice one off a point & just before I caught it a saw a crayfish go by right in front of me. It was right across from where the main flow is coming in.

Nice day of fishing Greg, great stuff! I think dragging the ned jig uphill is working better because it's staying in contact with the bottom easier vs. trying go downhill and keeping on bottom. FYI, last year when i saw you using this technique (it might have been up at Shasta), I went out and got some z-man micro jigs and put TRD's on, caught two at my local lake that were >6 pounds (on medium light spinning with 6 lb. test, needless to say it was a thrill getting them in).
