Yeah, turning all that thick gear oil.....the clutch definitely helps a cold start. Get her running with the clutch depressed and then let the clutch out and hear the engine load up for a bit until the oil starts to flow LOL. Cool vid
Love the sound of the old Chryslers, but I do NOT miss those days. If I had to choose between having that sound again OR fuel injection, automatic choke and remote start, it's not even close.
AND TO BE SHORE TO USE THE CRANKING THING IS WHY IS THE NOT WILLING TO NOT START BUT THE COOL PART IS THAT IT WONT START BUT IT IS THING IM SORRY BUT THE THING IS THE OLD AND THE COLD START
68Barracuda11s , the either get it hooked up, buy a new element, or better yet, take it to a Chrysler Dealership to get it fixed and let somebody else figure it out...
it prob dont work or not connected.. I bought an old plymouth recently without one ( she was used for drag racing) but I swapped the PROform carb to an electric choke carb.. not real good on the engine though to not have a choke.. esp in cold weather.
I love and miss this old dodge.
always that classic sounding crank and bendix buzzing
I love it and miss it so much!!!😍😍😍
That's a sound I'm very familiar with, having owned two '78 Dodge trucks - a D150 and a W150, both with 440 V8s. Great sound!
I miss this old dodge truck!!!😍♥️😍♥️
Great video and i like those boots bud!!!!! Would love to see you make a driving / brake pumping video with them sometime.

Get rid of the Lean Burn.
Why would a 1978 model car, not have a choke with a carburrator, bad design if you ask me...
