You gotta appreciate this man's effort. His hikes are twice as hard because of his love for craft. He has to make sure the shots are nice. For us...respect forestry forest
I saw the short video time and thought dang....he's not gonna make the summit. Five minutes in to a 12 min video and he hasn't begun the hike again I thought for sure he wasn't gonna make it. Dude is a straight up beast. Kraig Adams does long hikes like this also but rarely does he summit anything. Foresty is next level.
I reiterate a comment I made awhile ago that drew a surprising lot of negative responses from insecure egos: we "lesser beings" so love your ability to manifest your full self - the obvious goal of life lived to the fullest. The "lesser" is not who you are, it is how you live, and Forestry clearly understands and lives that.
Me watching every other van life channel: Big deal. I could do that. Me watching Foresty Forest: Damn. I'm glad he's doing that. I'll watch safely from my desktop.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, these views are breathtaking, for those of us who live in a semi rural area of the UK, these videos that Forresty does just blows me away. Thank you for doing this and showing us how stunning a world we live in. And damn bro, the Crock Pot rocks again👍👍👍
Instant Potato flakes to thicken that tasty slow cooked cuisine will work in a pinch. Thanks for taking us along to view the scenery. You're our hero FF!!!
After watching this video, I think all of us should agree to a “lights out” day where we shut it all down and just watch the sky. That clear, colorful night sky is better than any tech.
In India the firewood cutters wear a plastic mask on the back of their head so tigers won’t ambush them. I don’t know if that works on all predators. Really enjoy your videos.
I hope you all have checked out ol Foresty's older videos of ridin his bike, there great. Its nice to see more subscribers. I hope youtube is able to have the 16th annual Tuber Awards Ceremony this year, cause I am voting for FOresty Forest for best I live in a Van Videos.
It's so funny I was watching one of foresty forest videos and my kids walked in and said "oh no dad not the van man all he does is walk around and cook in a crock pot". It was hilarious!
Packs one sandwich for a 14 hour hike :o Never would have thought a guy living out of his minivan would become my favourite channel, but yet, here we are. Stay safe out there!
Imagine climbing to the top and there is no pencil to write/log your name, so you trek back to van to get a pencil and do it again. French Version: Foresty Forest, il vit dans une camionnette, Foresty Forest!
25.5 miles, You Are Amazing!!!! My legs are handicapped, and I am sitting up in bed viewing your fantastic videos wishing I could do what you are doing. Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful life with me🙏Stay safe and Healthy🌟
“...and juuust around the corner...” are not words a mother wants to hear. Dude, I knew this one would be a leg scorcher when you said that! A bit ambitious I think. You have your whole life ahead of you. Slow down and enjoy your beautiful, quiet, stunning journey. And remember love. Don’t let it pass you by. ✌🏼♥️
I forgot about this channel for a long time and the memory hit me like lightning through some nature scene - now I am back here and got a lot of new content about all that beautiful nature to watch. Damn this channel deserves so many more subs.
Lmao, gawd-DAMN, foresty! Hittin' us back again with another 2020 banger. This time you blowing our faces off with that Hollywood cinema editing with the vegetable chopping. Incredible .....
Much respect, bro. In my younger years I did a day that was about 38km, probably only about 1000m elevation. Rigor sets in on the drive back to Calgary. I drive the car into the garage and just sit there. Wife pops her head in the garage a few minutes on. I throw my hiking boots out the window of the car and declare "I'm never going hiking again." Was out on the trail the following weekend. Wife runs marathons, but she always says she couldn't do 42km on the trails with a pack. So I can at least say I have a general idea of what you accomplished in your day...good on ya! Another fab vid.
@@forestyforest Ya, I was tooling around the Aylmer Pass area (aw, what the heck, might as well check out Aylmer lookout while I'm out here...), and that last 8km on the way back along Lake Minewanka was enough to drain my soul. Would have been a good time to break out the Supai.
" . . . we will get to work." No "we"; it's all YOU! You wear me out just seeing all that you do. You're an incredibly talented, hard-driving, hard-working person--very rare, indeed!
I love "my" trails in the dark but once I get off of them I think there are predators everywhere lurking in the woods for me! This was epic, loved the little mtn tour on top. You're inspiring me to be less lazy haha. It's so beautiful there. And I can't believe how warm it is with little snow!
One of your best videos. That dark time shots gave me a chill. Also those summit shots were so good(beautiful). You are such a genuine person, no showoffs whatsoever. May you stay healthy and happy.
Had our first Winter snow in Scotland last night so I had a cosy day in lockdown going through a ton of your old winter videos. Thanks for all the content my man!
It's really fun to follow along on your adventures and to imagine that somewhere out there, that little white dot of the trusty minivan is zigzagging around that vast and beautiful country of yours
Foresty!! Much love from here in Detroit , Michigan. Right across from Windsor, Ontario. Hope all is well brother. Me and my mom love your content!!! Stay safe brother.
This was absolutely incredible. You're living the best life out there. I can't speak for anyone else, but I would enjoy hearing more about you and your life. Where you were, how you got here, your experiences, etc.
Beautiful summit hike! Thanks for sharing your delightful scenery with us! Mannn all the back & forth is so much extra work.. and hanging onto the sides of rock faces one handed with the selfie stick is insane FF 😳 Yessss I would have just dug into that meal right away too 🥣💯👏 Your vibes are what we all crave right now.. real - honest - natural- perfectly imperfect goodness. Thank you 😊
Foresty Forest your videos are very motivational you have a great spirit to go out into the wilderness when most of us cannot . Thank you for your videos they are great and you are truly humble . I recently purchased a Suburban and thought about all the conversions . Hope to catch up to the path in years to come .
The Canadian tourist board should be sponsoring you as you are showing Canada at it's best. As per usual that was a great video and one hell of a hike. Stay safe and take care. ☘
do it then... jump in the car and go... you dont have to do the entire trail, you can even just hike 200 feet and quit and hang out at the parking lot... it beats wondering about it at home on the couch.
Always happy to see a Foresty Forest video! You have a lot more courage than I being willing to hike in the darkness like that. Thankfully it seems to have paid off with that mountain log - 4 signatures! Incredible. Thanks for taking us along, as always. Stay safe. :)
For sure. I know you're stewing all day but if it's still chewy then maybe a slightly higher temp? At home I put chunks of stew meat in a dutch oven (in the oven at 350F) for 3.5 hours and it comes out fall apart tender.

What a beautiful world you live in. I was a bit down this week but seeing your video lift up my spirit again. Thank you foresty forest for taking us to places we could never go.
My man, you are pretty hardcore, can't even fathom walking 41 km in a day, let alone in a mountain hike. My legs and especially feet are sore like crazy after walking 20-25 km in flat terrain. Well done! :)
25 mountain cross country miles in one day.....Wow! That's a good day for anyone. Hey, that stew is just the way it should be without adding flour. Not every "stew" is laden with gravy. A really good stew is one that is made with meat on the bones cooked down and then remove the meat/bones and cook vegetables up in the broth then later add the boneless meat back in. This kind of stew sets up like jello when refrigerated which shows the great character of the stock. To gravy-itize this kind of stew would be sacrilege. The absolute serenity atop the peak that day was ethereal, breathtaking. One has to imagine the reality of it as the camera is not capable of total capture. Thanks for sharing.

Nicely done. 40km on foot is substantial.

I come from the cougar capital of the world. Locals embroider eyes on the back of hats, to discourage cougar attacks. Apparently it works.
