The best video content on RUclips you should have millions of subscribers. Never a dull moment and many WOW moments and then you turn it into a cooking show! Awesome!
When you started talking about urinating in a jar, I think when you were mentioning that you were looking in the crockpot's direction and I think now he is afraid he will take on a new roll in your van as a crap pot, oh the inhumanity!
Hey your drive by footage at the beginning is awesome. Music and all is great I really enjoyed it, we are all stuck at home and with a lot of RUclips time I've realized there's a lot of content that was rushed to upload and I know you took your time so as a viewer im grateful. Just wanted to share my two cents. Thanks. 👐🏽😏👍🏽
I hadn't seen the other comments about this before I posted. But here's to prove we all appreciate the awesome production by Mr. Forest here. Funny I once criticized the intro music a few videos ago. (I SWEAR GO LOOK) Fast forward to present and we are getting professional quality entertainment. My hat's off.
Home made maple syrip while snowed in. Dont get more Canadian than that, other than knowing any night you don't have to pee in a bottle is a good night. Loved the off road work. That van sure seems to hang on. Could watch all day, great countryside rivers, mountains, and knowing that the air dryer is humming away.
@@hackisack Yes, I went to their website and saw the prize, but I guess you need good equipment when you're going to be hiking mountains, rugged terrains, etc. I wanted to bring awareness to Scarpa about FF, but they only have a mailing address and social media, which I don't subscribe to any.
FF, driving whilst air frying- you need to build one of those Gimbel thing in a ships galley. Cookers sit in a Gimbel so whilst cooking and the ship rocks around, the cooking remains "flat".. Very simple to make.
The glass lid for the crock pot is valuable. For other crockpots and some saute pans and even small frying pans. So if you trash the crockpot at least salvage the glass lid.
You put those Scarpas to the test. Those DRUs are beasts. I almost bought a pair, but came to the conclusion that it’s impossible to find one pair that will work year round when it gets down to 30 below freezing or colder in northern New England during the winter months. I finally made up my mind and bought a pair Zamberlan 2095 Brenva Lite GTX for some tough, light-weight, 3-season boots. Decided to get an insulated pair for the winter-probably going to go with the Zamberlan 2090 MOUNTAIN PRO EVO GTX. That company makes their boots like they’re designed for my feet specifically-maybe it’s because I’m Italian, haha. But seriously, everything else hurts my big toe joints after a few miles. They’re expensive, but Vios GTX was the best pair I’ve ever owned, so I’m sticking with that co. Although they looked kind of like those DRUs after only 250 mi. They’re re-sole-able, which is good, but 800 grams each, and not semi-auto crampon compatible. Anyways, I’m glad you gave that review! Big purchases on an important item like a boot require a lot of thought, and real-life reviews from a hiker like yourself are highly regarded.
send those boots to Dave Page, a Cobbler in Seattle (easy google search). I had my La Sportiva's resoled after a few hundred miles made them look like your Scarpa boots. Came back like new. About 100 bucks unless the rand has to be replaced as well. He uses parts from the manufacturer and is their official repair facility in the US.
Some people buy the crock and lids from dearly departed crockpots for pickle fermentation (since they are basically just like the old school pickle crocks). Since you're already extreme off-road air frying, why not add backcountry mobile fermentation to your repertoire?
R.I.P crock pot! She was so good to you, you have my deepest condolences. On the bright side, love your videos, you hike to some of the most beautiful places!
This summer I’d love to see you go on a big epic hike up a crazy mountain, and bring the crockpot with you to put there with a logbook and stuff inside with your channel and a short memorial about the crockpot- “It died how it live, working hard and exploring nature. So here it lies eternally as a tribute to its life. RIP Crockpot”
Snow chains...store them properly and you can have them on in 3 min and nothing will stop you. Better than no way out. They taught me on The Dalton Highway running semi, worth the investment, and the time to have someone show you how to use them.
This is a simply fantastic well made video. Amazing. You worked really work hard to do these shots. Very impressive. I am speechless at the quality. Wow
As a suggestion, the crock pot could be re-purposed/resurrected as a [quite small] washing machine - just add soap and water then drive off road for 15 minutes while dinner cooks shotgun seat style
