I just want to say that I love you all and thank you so much for supporting me. I cant put into words what it means to me. Also, what colors are you decorating with for Christmas this year?
I'm using white, dark red and 5 shades of green this year. Bought some supplies to make some new ornaments. Making a Scandinavian inspired rustic theme. Tiny gnome ornaments only slightly bigger than 2in tall are turning out really cute
Love this! I am loving the blush trend, so I want to do soft greens and pinks this year. I usually do the traditional red and green, but this year calls for something different. 😊
The texture you created with the drywall compound looked like wood. I kept thinking a light layering of sepia tones would look like wooden planters. But then, I saw the finished project and white was the better choice. They look like expensive decorative trees. Great job! I am learning so much from you. Thank you for sharing your talents. Your efforts for a forgotten group of young people is very important and you do it justice.
Somebody chucked a tree in a box out in my street last year around October, they were doing a clearance. It was new, 6ft, and became our Christmas tree, looked so great with our ornaments. I also got a standing shelf and cushions from that skip!
That was awesome!Been in and out of construction with my husband for the last 15 years never saw stick on drywall tape, and now I work at a hardware store part time, LOL
I would never have thought to use drywall tape & mud but I bet you already had it. Great job making those trees look beautiful again! I wish someone would give me those. 😂
Hi Cory, I never would of thought of using drywall tape and mud on a project like this, great idea...your trees turned out so nice with the flocking you did ...great job....Take care...stay safe...
WOW WOW WOW YES THOSE TREES LOOK INCREDIBLE I NEVER GET LUCKY LIKE THAT IN CALIFORNIA LOL LOL😀😀 BUT THERE ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!!! XOXO YOUR SUBSCRIBER❤❤❤
I just love premiere live chats! Ooooh I bet your decor will look very beautiful. There was tons of decor in that scheme at hobby lobby when I went. There was this black fur table runner that I adored
Hey Cory! Another great makeover! They look really gorgeous and very expensive on yr hearth! Re: pet sweaters, I live in the deep south and people put sweaters on their small dogs when they go out to walk/potty them when it's around the 40's outside. Which is only a for few weeks. Friends with small dogs leave them in sweaters until it gets back to the 60's. I have 3 indoor only cats and they hate the cold. They have a "cat cave" I crocheted for the oldest years ago. Now they all 3 try to squeeze into it together lol. They also have blankets to hide under lol. I keep my temp set on 65-68° in winter so they are always mad at me. 😠
Thank you. I'm glad I'm not the only one putting sweaters on my small dog. I LOVE that you crocheted a cat cave. That sounds adorable. I grew up with cats and love them as well.
What a difference from the way you found them. I never find trees like that. Once in a while I’ll see a large one by the curb after Christmas but much too big for my small home
Hi Cory! These are so beautiful! Everything you did to redo them is perfect. I hope the paint came out of your jeans. Your hair looks gorgeous. I sure am happy to have found your channel. 🌿
Yesss we buy our dogs clothes and jackets we live in Michigan its freezing here so definitely they need it ,the dogs love their clothes! I love your channel and all your ideas
Impressive transformation! I am a tree hoarder, lol! I have found so many trees that have been thrown out after Christmas or during the summer. They all still have great potential.

I get stuff from goodwill, tear it apart, make it less, & suddel
I don't use specific colors, just all the colors, lol! I love red, green and metallics, but really use it all.

Maroon and gold on my tree. Otherwise, just old decorations that mean nothing to anyone else and mean the world to me. Traditional colors mostly.

See! It's crazy how much great stuff would be in the dump if it wasn't for us
@@DesertDIY Love a skip safe, and most of my clothing is from charity shops, I love altering them and not having to worry having paid so little.
I love them Cory! You did such a beautiful job refurbishing these trees! So simple and elegant. 😍
Thank you Yami! I could see these being your kind of style!
That was awesome!Been in and out of construction with my husband for the last 15 years never saw stick on drywall tape, and now I work at a hardware store part time, LOL

Turned out beautiful! I have two trees just like these I need to transform too!
Thank you Jeni, it was so easy
I loved the way you changed the base of the tree with the drywall mesh, looked great. I will do that too. Thanks
Thank you. It was so easy
I have a similar pair of trees I bought years ago. You've really inspired me to refresh them into something more suited to my current taste!
Yes, Beth. Go for it!
Going with navy and cream for colors in my decor pieces. Regular tree with white lights....but may downsize to a more manageable size.
Wow! These trees turned out simply beautiful.
Thank you! It was fun

I wonder if you can just take the base 1/3 off of a big tree off and use the top 2/3 only so that it is smaller for you

Hi Beth. You are making me feel like a million bucks today!!!! The paint did come out

Hello!
Hi my friend!
I liked your project. My suggestion is to lose the music! It’s good loud and unnecessary.
Hi Karen, you can control the volume however you like it. Thank you for watching
oh nooooo!!! kILL the annoying music...grocery store music ughhhh...
