    I love the grey buffalo check fabric on the seats. I also like that you used the buffalo check color palette to paint the table and chairs. The liming wax was a great final touch. 👍

    I love how you reuse and renovate old things, that's how it was when I was little in the 1950s, in England after the war. We all bought second hand and fixed stuff up to suit ourselves. When I was about 12 we bought a wardrobe and bookcase for my room and I painted them myself in yellow, so watching you is like old times to me and it's great that you do it for those who need them. 😊 Well done.👍👍👍

      What a difficult time recovering from the war. In the U.S. it was a different experience since the war did not happen on our mainland other than the bombing of pearl harbor. I have always been very interested in the history of ww2 and the pieces of furniture that were made after the war were so celebratory and full of life. Thank you for sharing

    I am going to see in our area if there is a way I can help. I am not confident enough in my skills at furniture recycling to SELL my pieces of roadside saves... at this point I have kept or given to my family everything that I have done. But I could DONATE TO A GOOD CAUSE!
    I am actually excited at the idea of saving things from the landfill or roadside and I want to help people who are in need as well... this speaks to my heart!

    • @DesertDIY
      @DesertDIY  3 года назад +1

      I'd suggest using rustoleum 2x coverage spray paint in a flat or matte finish in the color of your choice. Use a spray paint handle attachment for a more even finish. If matte is too matte for your liking then satin is the second best sheen. Spray vertically first then follow instructions for dry time for second coat. Spray second coat horizontally. You can also put on a clear coat in a matte finish just to give it a stronger finish. Rustoleum has this as well.

    Is your fence just for a background? I've seen spray paint get on it so I'm just wondering.

    What spray gun do you use? I couldn’t find one in your Amazon Store. Thx.

      Hvlp from harbor freight. They are very expensive on amazon compared to harbor freight, so I don't put them in my amazon store.
